< Luo Peter 3 >

1 Mwet kawuk saok luk, leta akluo nga simis nu suwos pa inge. In leta inge kewa, nga srike in pirakak nunak nasnas lowos ke nga akesmakinye kowos ke ma inge.
This second epistle, beloved, I now write to you; in [both] which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2 Nga ke kowos in esam kas ma fwackyak nu suwos pacl loeloes somla sin mwet palu mutal, oayapa sap lun Leum ac Mwet Lango ma tuh itukot nu suwos sin mwet sap lowos ah.
That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Savior:
3 Ma se meet, kowos enenu in akilen lah ke len safla ac oasr mwet ac sikyak su moul lalos leumiyuk ke lung koluk lalos sifacna. Elos ac aksruksrukye kowos,
Knowing this first, that there will come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 ac siyuk, “Ya El tia wuleot mu El ac foloko? Ac El aya? Papa tumasr ah misa tari, ac ma nukewa srakna oaya ah, oana ke faclu tufahna orekla!”
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation.
5 Elos nuna sulela in pilesru lah pacl loeloes somla God El orala kusrao ke kas lal. El sraclik faclu liki kof uh ke kas lal, ac oru tuh facl pao in sikyak liki kof uh,
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 ac oayapa ke kof, sronot uh tuh kunausla faclu se meet ah.
By which the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 Tusruktu ke kas sacna, kusrao ac faclu se ma oasr inge karinginyuk tuh in fah kunausyukla ke e. Ma inge ac oanna nu ke len se ac fah nununkeyuk ac kunausyukla mwet su seakos God.
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved to fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 Tusruktu, mwet kawuk saok luk, kowos in tia mulkunla ma se inge: wangin ekla inmasrlon sie len ac sie tausin yac sin Leum God; yorol ma luo inge oana sie.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 Leum God El tia pahtlac in oru ma El wulela kac, oana ke kutu mwet uh nunku uh. A El mongfisrasr nu suwos, mweyen El tia lungse kutena mwet in tuhlac, a El kena mwet nukewa in forla liki ma koluk lalos.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 A Len lun Leum ac fah tuku oana sie mwet pisrapasr. In Len sac, kusrao ac fah wanginla ke sie pusra na lulap; ma su oan in kusrao ac fah firiryak ac kunausyukla, ac faclu ac ma nukewa loac fah wanginla.
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein will be burned up.
11 Ke sripen ma inge nukewa ac fah kunausyukla in lumah se inge, moul lowos enenu in mutal ac kisakinyukyang nu sin God
[Seeing] then [that] all these things will be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy deportment and godliness,
12 ke kowos tupan Len lun God. Kowos in sang kuiyowos in oru tuh Len sac in sa tuku — Len se ke kusrao ac firiryak ac kunausyukla, ac ma su oan inkusrao ac fah kofelik ke fol uh.
Looking for and hasting to the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens being on fire will be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
13 A kut tupan ma God El wulela kac: kusrao sasu ac faclu sasu, acn ma mwet nukewa ac oru ma suwohs.
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, in which dwelleth righteousness.
14 Ouinge, mwet kawuk luk, ke kowos soano Len sac, kowos in kwafeang tuh moul lowos in nasnas ac in wangin mwatuwos, ac kowos in moul in misla ye mutun God.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found by him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 Kowos in nunku ke mongfisrasr lun Leum lah El asot pacl wo nu suwos tuh kowos in ku in moulla, oana ke Paul, mwet saok wiasr, el sim fahk nu suwos ke el orekmakin lalmwetmet ma God El asang nu sel.
And account [that] the long-suffering of our Lord [is] salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, hath written to you;
16 Pa inge ma el srumun kac in leta lal nukewa. Oasr kutu ma upa in leta lal ma mwet selalkung ac mwet seokak elos tia aketeya pwaye kac, oana elos muta oru pac ke kutu kas in Ma Simusla uh. Ke ma inge elos sifacna oru tuh moul lalos in kunausyukla.
As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.
17 A kowos, mwet kawuk luk, kowos etu ma inge tari. Kowos in sifacna liyekowosyang tuh kowos fah tia aktafongyeyukla ke ma sutuu lun mwet pilesru ma sap, pwanang kowos putatla liki acn kowos muta okak we.
Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know [these things] before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.
18 A kowos in kapkapak in lungkulang ac etauk lowos ke Leum ac Mwet Lango lasr Jesus Christ. Lela in kaksakinyuk el, inge ac nu tok ma pahtpat! Amen (aiōn g165)
But grow in grace, and [in] the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him [be] glory both now and for ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
