Then spake Elisha vnto the woman, whose sonne he had restored to life, saying, Vp, and goe, thou, and thine house, and soiourne where thou canst soiourne: for the Lord hath called for a famine, and it commeth also vpon the land seuen yeeres.

2 Mutan sac tuh wi na ma fwackyang nu sel ah, na el ac sou lal ah som muta Philistia ke yac itkosr.

And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God, and went both shee and her housholde and soiourned in the lande of the Philistims seuen yeeres.

3 Ke safla yac itkosr ah, el foloko nu Israel, ac el som nu yorol tokosra ac siyuk tuh lohm sel ac acn sel in folokyang nu sel.

And at the seuen yeeres ende, the woman returned out of the lande of the Philistims, and went out to call vpon the King for her house and for her land.

4 Ke el utyak, tokosra el sramsram nu sel Gehazi, mwet kulansap lal Elisha. Tokosra el lungse etu ke mwenmen lal Elisha.

And the King talked with Gehazi the seruant of the man of God, saying, Tell mee, I pray thee, all the great actes, that Elisha hath done.

5 Ke pacl se Gehazi el srumun nu sel tokosra ke luman ma Elisha el oru ke el akmoulyauk sie mwet misa, na mutan sac sang pac siyuk lal nu sel tokosra. Gehazi el fahk nu sel, “Leum fulat, pa ingan mutan sac, ac pa ingan wen se natul ma Elisha el akmoulyauk ah!”

And as he told the King, howe he had restored one dead to life, behold, the woman, whose sonne he had raised to life, called vpon the King for her house and for her land. Then Gehazi sayd, My lorde, O King, this is the woman, and this is her sonne, whom Elisha restored to life.

And when the King asked the woman, shee told him: so the King appoynted her an Eunuch, saying, Restore thou all that are hers, and all the fruites of her landes since the day shee left the land, euen vntill this time.

7 Elisha el som nu Damascus ke pacl se ma Tokosra Benhadad lun Syria el mas. Ke fwackyang nu sel tokosra lah Elisha el oasr we,

Then Elisha came to Damascus, and Ben-hadad the King of Aram was sicke, and one told him, saying, The man of God is come hither.

8 tokosra el fahk nu sel Hazael, sie sin mwet pwapa lal ah, “Us sie mwe lung an sang nu sin mwet palu sac, ac sap elan lolngok nu sin LEUM GOD lah nga ac kwela ku tia.”

And the king sayd vnto Hazael, Take a present in thine hande, and goe meete the man of God, that thou mayest inquire of ye Lord by him, saying, Shall I recouer of this disease?

9 Na Hazael el nwakla kain in ma wo nukewa in acn Damascus nu fin camel angngaul, ac som nu yorol Elisha. Ke Hazael el sonol el fahk, “Tokosra Benhadad, mwet kulansap lom, el supweyume ngan tuh siyuk sum lah el ac ku in kwela liki mas lal ah ku tia.”

So Hazael went to meete him, and tooke the present in his hand, and of euery good thing of Damascus, euen the burden of fourtie camels, and came and stood before him, and sayde, Thy sonne Ben-hadad King of Aram hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recouer of this disease?

10 Elisha el topuk, “LEUM GOD El akkalemye nu sik mu el ac misa. Tusruktu folokot nu yorol ac fahk nu sel mu el ac kwela.”

And Elisha sayd to him, Goe, and say vnto him, Thou shalt recouer: howbeit the Lord hath shewed me, that he shall surely dye.

11 Na Elisha el ngetang na suilya ke sie ngetnget na fosrnga, nwe ke na Hazael el sensenak. Kitin pacl ah na soror sroninmutal Elisha.

And hee looked vpon him stedfastly, till Hazael was ashamed, and the man of God wept.

12 Hazael el siyuk, “Leum luk, efu ku kom tung?” Elisha el topuk, “Mweyen nga etu ke ma na koluk kom ac oru nu sin mwet Israel uh. Kom ac esukak pot ku lalos, onela mukul fusr wowo natulos ke cutlass, sringil tulik natulos nwe ke elos misa, ac tiyala insien mutan pitutu lalos.”

And Hazael sayde, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I knowe the euill that thou shalt do vnto the children of Israel: for their strong cities shalt thou set on fire, and their yong men shalt thou slay with the sworde, and shalt dash their infantes against the stones, and rent in pieces their women with child.

13 Hazael el siyuk, “Ku fuka tuh ngan ku in oru ma na yohk angan? Nga tia mwet pwaye se!” Elisha el topuk, “LEUM GOD El akkalemye nu sik lah kom pa ac tokosra lun Syria.”

Then Hazael said, What? is thy seruant a dog, that I should doe this great thing? And Elisha answered, The Lord hath shewed mee, that thou shalt be King of Aram.

14 Hazael el folokla nu yorol Benhadad, su siyuk sel, “Mea Elisha el fahk?” Hazael el topuk, “El fahk nu sik mu pwayena lah kom ac kwela.”

So he departed from Elisha, and came to his master, who said to him, What saide Elisha to thee? And he answered, Hee tolde mee that thou shouldest recouer.

15 Tusruktu ke len se tok ah, Hazael el eis blanket se, isongya in kof ah, na sang nokomla mutal tokosra, nwe el malak misa. Na Hazael el aolulla Benhadad in tokosra lun acn Syria.

And on the morow he tooke a thick cloth and dipt in it water, and spread it on his face, and hee dyed: and Hazael reigned in his stead.

16 In yac aklimekosr ke Joram, wen natul Ahab, el tokosra lun Israel, Jehoram wen natul Jehoshaphat el tokosrala lun Judah.

Now in the fift yere of Ioram ye sonne of Ahab King of Israel, and of Iehoshaphat King of Iudah, Iehoram the sonne of Iehoshaphat King of Iudah began to reigne.

17 Jehoram el yac tolngoul luo in pacl sac, ac el leum in acn Jerusalem ke yac oalkosr.

He was two and thirtie yere olde, when he began to reigne: and hee reigned eight yeere in Ierusalem.

18 Mutan kial ah ma natul Ahab, ac Jehoram el oru oana sou lal Ahab — el fahsr tukun ouiya koluk lun tokosra lun Israel. El oru ma koluk lain LEUM GOD,

And hee walked in the wayes of the Kings of Israel, as did the house of Ahab: for the daughter of Ahab was his wife, and hee did euill in the sight of the Lord.

19 tusruktu LEUM GOD El tia lungse kunausla acn Judah, mweyen El tuh wulela nu sel David, mwet kulansap lal, mu fwilin tulik natul ac fah leumi mwet lal nwe tok.

Yet the Lord would not destroy Iudah, for Dauid his seruants sake, as he had promised him to giue him a light, and to his children for euer.

20 In pacl in leum lal Jehoram, acn Edom tuyak lain acn Judah, ac mutawauk in sifacnala.

In those dayes Edom rebelled from vnder the hand of Iudah, and made a King ouer themselues.

21 Ouinge Jehoram el us chariot lal nukewa ac som nu Zair, yen mwet mweun lun Edom elos raunelosla we. In fong sac, el ac mwet leum lun chariot uh mahsrikla twe kaingla, ac mwet mweun lal ah fahsrelik nu yen selos.

Therefore Ioram went to Zair, and all his charets with him, and he arose by night, and smote the Edomites which were about him with the captains of the charets, and the people fled into their tents.

22 In pacl sac me, acn Edom tila oan ye ku lun Judah. Ac in pacl sac pacna, siti Libnah tuyak pac ac orek alein nu sin Judah.

So Edom rebelled from vnder the hand of Iudah vnto this day. then Libnah rebelled at that same time.

23 Ma nukewa saya ma Jehoram el orala simla oasr in [Sramsram Matu Ke Tokosra Lun Judah.]

Concerning the rest of the actes of Ioram and all that hee did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah?

24 Jehoram el misa ac pukpuki inkulyuk lun tokosra in Siti sel David, ac Ahaziah, wen natul, el aolul in tokosra.

And Ioram slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the citie of Dauid. And Ahaziah his sonne reigned in his stead.

25 In yac aksingoul luo ke pacl Joram wen natul Ahab el tokosra lun Israel, Ahaziah wen natul Jehoram el tokosrala lun Judah

In the twelft yere of Ioram the sonne of Ahab King of Israel did Ahaziah the sonne of Iehoram King of Iudah begin to reigne.

26 ke el yac longoul luo, ac el leum in Jerusalem ke yac se. Nina kial pa Athaliah, acn se natul Tokosra Ahab, su ma natul Tokosra Omri lun Israel.

Two and twentie yeere olde was Ahaziah when he began to reigne, and he reigned one yere in Ierusalem, and his mothers name was Athaliah the daughter of Omri King of Israel.

27 Ahaziah el ac sou nu sel Tokosra Ahab ke sripen nina kial, ac el oru ma koluk lain LEUM GOD oana ke sou lal Tokosra Ahab tuh oru.

And he walked in the way of the house of Ahab, and did euill in the sight of the Lord, like the house of Ahab: for hee was the sonne in law of the house of Ahab.

28 Tokosra Ahaziah el welul Tokosra Joram lun Israel in mweun lainul Tokosra Hazael lun Syria. Mwet mweun lalos sroani mweun in acn Ramoth in Gilead, ac Joram el kineta ke mweun ah.

And he went with Ioram the sonne of Ahab to warre against Hazael King of Aram in Ramoth Gilead, and the Aramites smote Ioram.

29 El folokla nu in siti Jezreel in tuh mahla kinet kacl ah, ac Ahaziah el som nu we in osun nu sel.

And King Ioram returned to bee healed in Izreel of the wounds which ye Aramites had giuen him at Ramah, whe he fought against Hazael King of Aram. And Ahaziah the sonne of Iehoram King of Iudah went downe to see Ioram the sonne of Ahab in Izreel, because he was sicke.
