< Luo Tokosra 25 >
1 Zedekiah el tuyak lainul Tokosra Nebuchadnezzar lun acn Babylonia. Ke ma inge Nebuchadnezzar el tuku wi mwet mweun lal nukewa in mweuni acn Jerusalem ke len aksingoul ke malem aksingoul ke yac akeu ke pacl Zedekiah el leum. Elos orala nien aktuktuk lalos likin siti uh, ac musaela mwe fan raunela pot ah.
And it came to pass, in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came—he and all his force, against Jerusalem, and encamped against it, —and they built against it a siege wall, round about.
2 Elos kuhlusya nwe ke yac aksingoul sie ma Zedekiah el tokosra.
And the city came into the siege, —until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.
3 In len akeu ke malem akakosr ke yac sacna, ke sracl sac srakna upa ac wanginla mongo nun mwet uh,
On the ninth of the month, when the famine had become severe in the city, —and there had come to be no bread for the people of the land,
4 mwet Babylonia elos fukulya pot uh. Elos nwe raunela siti sac, a mwet mweun nukewa in siti uh kaingla in fong sac. Elos ut yen ima lun tokosra oan we, ac sasla ke mutunpot se ma pot luo fahsreni we, na elos kaingla ut layen nu ke Infahlfal Jordan.
then was the city broken up, and all the men of war [fled] by night by way of the gate between the two walls, which is by the garden of the king, the Chaldeans being near the city round about, —and he went the way of the Waste Plain;
5 Tusruktu mwet mweun Babylonia elos ukwal Tokosra Zedekiah nwe sruokilya in acn tupasrpasr apkuran nu Jericho, ac mwet mweun lal ah nukewa sisella kaingelik.
and the force of the Chaldeans, pursued, the king, and overtook him in the Waste Plains of Jericho, —and, all his force, was scattered from him.
6 Utukla Tokosra Zedekiah nu yorol Tokosra Nebuchadnezzar, su muta in siti Riblah, acn su Nebuchadnezzar el wotela ma ac orek nu sel.
So they seized the king, and brought him up unto the king of Babylon, at Riblah, —and they pronounced upon him sentence of judgment.
7 Elos uniya kewa wen natul Zedekiah ye mutal, ac tipalla atronmutal, na elos kaprilya ke sein, ac usalla nu Babylon.
And, the sons of Zedekiah, they slew before his eyes, —and, the eyes of Zedekiah, put they out, and then bound him with fetters of bronze, and brought him into Babylon.
8 In len akitkosr ke malem aklimekosr in yac aksingoul eu ke pacl Tokosra Nebuchadnezzar el leum lun Babylonia, Nebuzaradan su mwet kasru lal tokosra ac oayapa el mwet kol fulat lun un mwet mweun lal, el utyak nu Jerusalem.
And, in the fifth month, on the seventh of the month, the same, was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, chief of the royal executioners, servant of the king of Babylon, to Jerusalem;
9 El esukak Tempul, inkul sin tokosra, ac lohm sin mwet fulat nukewa in Jerusalem,
and burned the house of Yahweh, and the house of the king, —yea, all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great man’s house, burned he with fire.
10 ac mwet lal elos rakinya pot in siti ah.
And, the walls of Jerusalem round about, did all the force of the Chaldeans who were with the chief of the royal executioners, break down.
11 Na Nebuzaradan el usla nu Babylonia mwet ma lula in siti sac, elos su usrnguk ke orekma ac oayapa elos su sifacna kaingla nu yurin mwet Babylonia.
And, the residue of the people who were left in the city, and the disheartened who fell away unto the king of Babylon, and the residue of the multitude, did Nebuzaradan, chief of the royal executioners, carry away captive.
12 Tusruktu el filiya kutu sin mwet ma arulana sukasrup, ac sang tuh mwet inge in orekma ke ima in grape, ac imaela acn Judah.
But, of the poorest of the land, did the chief of the royal executioners, leave, for vine-dressers and for husbandmen.
13 Mwet Babylonia elos kunausya sru bronze lukwa nu ke ip srisrik, ac mwe wiwa ma oan in Tempul, weang pac tacng bronze lulap sac, ac elos usla bronze inge nukewa nu Babylon.
And, the pillars of bronze that were in the house of Yahweh, and the stands, and the sea of bronze which was in the house of Yahweh, the Chaldeans brake in pieces, and they carried away the bronze of them to Babylon;
14 Elos oayapa usla saful ac mwe neinyuk apat, ma orekmakinyuk in aknasnasye loang uh, kufwa in akwoye lam ah, ac pol mwe nein srah ma sororla ke pacl in kisa, ac pol in isis mwe keng, ac ma nukewa saya ma orekla ke bronze su orekmakinyuk in Tempul.
and, the caldrons, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, even all the utensils of bronze wherewith ministration used to be made, did they take away;
15 Elos usla nufon ma su orekla ke gold ku silver, weang pac pol srisrik ac pan ma sang us mulut firir.
and, the sprinkling pans and the dashing bowls which were of gold, in gold, and which were of silver, in silver, did, the chief of the royal executions, take away.
16 Ma orekla ke bronze nukewa ma Tokosra Solomon el sap in orekla nu ke Tempul — sru lukwa, mwe wiwa, ac tacng lulap sac — ma inge arulana toasrla in pauniyuk.
As for the two pillars the one sea and the stands which Solomon made for the house of Yahweh, without weight, was the bronze of all these things.
17 Sru lukwa ah oana sie lumah: kais soko oasr ke fit longoul itkosr fulata, wi sifen sru se ma orekla oan fac su oasr fit akosr tafu fulata, ac oasr pac yun sang rauneak sifen sru inge su orekla in luman sein pirakla, naweyuk ke fokinsak pomegranate, ac ma inge nukewa orekla ke bronze.
Eighteen cubits, was the height of each pillar, and, the capital thereupon was of bronze, and, the height of the capital, was three cubits, and, the lattice-work and pomegranates upon the capital round about, the whole, was of bronze; and, like these, had the second pillar, upon the lattice-work.
18 Sayen ma inge, Nebuzaradan mwet kol fulat lun un mwet mweun lun Babylonia, el usalla Mwet Tol Fulat Seraiah, ac Zephaniah su mwet tol akluo yal, ac mwet tolu pac saya su mwet kol in Tempul.
And the chief of the royal executioners took Seraiah the head priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, —and the three keepers of the entrance hall;
19 Ac sin mwet in siti uh el usla mwet se ma tuh kol un mwet mweun, ac limekosr sin mwet kasru lun tokosra su srakna muta in siti uh, ac mwet kasru se lun mwet kol fulat su liyaung ma simla lun mwet mweun, ac mwet fulat onngoul pac saya.
and, out of the city, took he one courtier who himself was set over the men of war, and five men of them who were wont to see the face of the king, who were found in the city, and the scribe—general of the army, who used to muster the people of the land, —and sixty men of the people of the land, who were found in the city;
20 Nebuzaradan el usalosla nu yurin tokosra lun Babylonia, su oasr in siti Riblah
and Nebuzaradan, chief of the royal executioners, took them, —and brought them unto the king of Babylon, at Riblah;
21 ke acn Hamath. Tokosra el sap in sringsring ac anwuki elos we. Ouinge met Judah elos utukla liki acn selos nu in srou.
and the king of Babylon smote them and slew them in Riblah, in the land of Hamath, —and thus Judah disappeared from off their own soil.
22 Tokosra Nebuchadnezzar lun acn Babylon el oru Gedaliah wen natul Ahikam ac nutin natul Shaphan, elan governor lun acn Judah, ac oru elan kol mwet nukewa ma tia utukla nu Babylonia.
But, as for the people who were left in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon left remaining, he set over them Gedaliah, son of Ahikam son of Shaphan.
23 Ke mwet kol lun un mwet mweun lun Judah, ac mwet mweun lalos su tuh tiana srasrapo, elos lohng ke ma se inge, na elos som welulang Gedaliah in acn Mizpah. Mwet kol inge pa Ishmael wen natul Nethaniah, Johanan wen natul Kareah, Seraiah wen natul Tanhumeth sie mwet in siti srisrik Netophah, ac Jezaniah mwet Maacah.
And, when all the generals of the forces, they and the men, heard that the king of Babylon had given oversight unto Gedaliah, then came they in unto Gedaliah, at Mizpah, —even Ishmael son of Nethaniah, and Johanan son of Kareah, and Seraiah son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah son of a Maacathite, they and their men.
24 Gedaliah el fahk nu selos, “Nga fulahk nu suwos, kowos tia enenu in sangeng sin mwet kol lun mwet Babylonia. Kowos oakwuki in facl se inge ac kulansupu tokosra lun Babylonia, na ma nukewa ac fah wo nu suwos.”
And Gedaliah sware unto them, and to their men, and said to them, Do not fear because of the servants of the Chaldeans, —dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.
25 Tusruktu ke malem akitkosr in yac sac, Ishmael wen natul Nethaniah su wen natul Elishama, sie sin mwet in sou in leum uh, el us mwet singoul som nu Mizpah, onel Gedaliah nwe unilya. El oayapa uniya mwet Israel ac mwet Babylonia su welul muta in acn sac.
And it came to pass, in the seventh month, that Ishmael son of Nethaniah a son of Elishama, of the seed royal, came, and ten men with him, and smote Gedaliah, that he died, —and the Jews and the Chaldeans who were with him at Mizpah.
26 Na mwet Israel nukewa — mwet fulat ac mwet pusisel oana sie — weang pac mwet kol lun mwet mweun, elos fahsr liki acn we ac som nu Egypt, ke sripen sangeng lalos sin mwet Babylonia.
Then arose all the people, both small and great, and the generals of the forces, and came into Egypt, —for they were afraid of the Chaldeans.
27 Ke yac se ma Evilmerodach el tokosrala lun Babylonia, el kulang nu sel Tokosra Jehoiachin lun acn Judah ac ikasulla liki kapir. Ma se inge sikyak ke len aklongoul itkosr ke malem aksingoul luo ke yac aktolngoul itkosr tukun utukla Jehoiachin nu in sruoh.
And it came to pass, in the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, —that Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, out of prison;
28 Evilmerodach el kaskas kulang nu sel, ac akfulatyal liki tokosra nukewa su welul sruoh in acn Babylonia.
and he spake with him kind words, —and set his throne above the throne of the kings who were with him in Babylon;
29 Ouinge, filfilla nu sel Jehoiachin elan ku in ayaolla liki nuknuk in kapir lal ah, ac in welul tokosra mongo ke tepu lal ke lusenna moul lal.
and changed his prison garments, —and he did eat bread continually before him, all the days of his life.
30 Kais sie len, itukyang nu sel lupan mwe kasru ma fal in kasrel ke enenu lal, nwe ke el misa.
And, as his allowance, a continual portion, was given him, from the king, the provision of a day upon its own day, —all the days of his life.
