Sie Corinth 9
1 Ya nga tia mwet sukosok se? Ya nga tia mwet sap? Ku nga soenna liyal Jesus Leum lasr? Ac kowos tia fokin orekma luk nu sin Leum?
Am I not an Apostle? am I not free? haue I not seene Iesus Christ our Lord? are ye not my worke in the Lord?
2 Mwet saya uh finne tia akilen lah nga sie mwet sap, tuh kowos eteyu! Ke sripen moul lowos kupasryang nu sin Leum, kowos sifacna mwe akpwayeye lah nga sie mwet sap.
If I be not an Apostle vnto other, yet doutlesse I am vnto you: for ye are the seale of mine Apostleship in the Lord.
3 Pacl mwet uh akkolukyeyu uh, pa inge top luk nu selos:
My defence to them that examine mee, is this,
4 Ya tia fal nga in eis mwe mongo ac mwe nim ke orekma luk uh?
Haue we not power to eat and to drinke?
5 Ya ac tia fal nga in eis sie mutan Christian kiuk in wiyu in fufahsryesr luk, oana mwet sap ngia ac mwet wien Leum ac Peter elos oru?
Or haue we not power to lead about a wife being a sister, as well as the rest of the Apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?
6 Ku mea, ya nga na Barnabas pa enenu in orekma tuh kut in suk ma kut in moul kac?
Or I only and Barnabas, haue not we power not to worke?
7 Ma ya solse se su enenu in sifacna moli ma el orekmakin ke pacl in mweun uh? Pia mwet ima se su tia kang fahko ke ima grape lal sifacna? Su mwet shepherd se su tia nim titi ke sheep natul sifacna?
Who goeth a warfare any time at his owne coste? who planteth a vineyarde, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flocke, and eateth not of the milke of the flocke?
8 Mwe srikasrak ma nga fahk inge tia ma sik sifacna, a Ma Sap lal Moses fahk oapana.
Say I these thinges according to man? saith not the Lawe the same also?
9 Kut rit in Ma Sap fahk mu, “Nik kowos kapriya oalin soko cow mukul ke kom orekmakunul in lolongya wheat uh.” Na fuka, ya God El nunku yohk ke cow mukul mukena?
For it is written in the Lawe of Moses, Thou shalt not mussell the mouth of the oxe that treadeth out the corne: doeth God take care for oxen?
10 Ya El tia fahk ma inge kacsr ke El fahk ouingan? Aok, pwaye lah ma ingan tuh simla kacsr. Mwet se ma pikin fohk uh in akfisrasryela, ac mwet se ma kosrani, fah oru orekma lalos ac finsrak tuh elos fah ipeis ke ma kosrani sac.
Either saith hee it not altogether for our sakes? For our sakes no doubt it is written, that he which eareth, should eare in hope, and that he that thresheth in hope, should be partaker of his hope.
11 Kut yukwiya fita lun ngun insiowos — ya tia fal tuh kut in eis kosrani lasr suwos ke mwe kasru lun mano?
If wee haue sowen vnto you spirituall thinges, is it a great thing if we reape your carnall thinges?
12 Fin oasr ku lun mwet saya in eis ma inge suwos me, ya ku lasr uh tia yohk lukelos? Tusruktu kut tiana orekmakin ku se inge. A kut muteng ma nukewa in oru tuh in wangin kutena mwe tukulkul in kutong Pweng Wo ke Christ.
If others with you bee partakers of this power, are not we rather? neuerthelesse, we haue not vsed this power: but suffer all things, that we should not hinder the Gospel of Christ.
13 Kowos etu na lah mwet su kulansap in Tempul elos eis mwe mongo nalos ke ma lun Tempul, ac ke elos kisakunang mwe kisa fin loang uh elos eis ip lalos kac.
Doe ye not knowe, that they which minister about the holy things, eate of the things of the Temple? and they which waite at the altar, are partakers with the altar?
14 In ouiya sacna, Leum God El sap tuh elos su fahkak Pweng Wo fah eis mwe moul lalos ke fahkak lalos ke Pweng Wo.
So also hath the Lord ordeined, that they which preach ye Gospel, should liue of the Gospel.
15 Tusruktu nga soenna orekmakin suwohs inge, ac nga tia pac simis ma inge in pwanang ngan mutawauk in orekmakin keik sifacna. Mansis nga in misa liki tuh sie mwet in eisla likiyu suwohs luk in konkin ke ma inge!
But I haue vsed none of these things: neither wrote I these things, that it should be so done vnto me: for it were better for me to die, then that any man should make my reioycing vaine.
16 Wangin sripa nga in konkin lah nga fahkak Pweng Wo. God El nuna sapkin nu sik tuh nga in oru. Ac fuka kolukiya nu sik nga fin tia fahkak Pweng Wo!
For though I preach the Gospel, I haue nothing to reioyce of: for necessitie is laid vpon me, and woe is vnto me, if I preach not the Gospel.
17 Nga fin oru orekma luk ke lungse luk sifacna, na fal nga in eis mwe moul kac. Tusruktu nga oru oana kunokon se nu sik, mweyen God El ase nu sik in oru orekma se inge.
For if I do it willingly, I haue a reward, but if I do it against my will, notwithstanding the dispensation is committed vnto me.
18 Na mea molin ma nga oru uh? Ac pa na inge: nga insewowo in fahkak Pweng Wo ac tiana siyuk in moul nu sik, ac nga tia pacna suk in akfalyeyuk orekma luk ke Pweng Wo uh.
What is my reward then? verely that when I preach the Gospel, I make the Gospel of Christ free, that I abuse not mine authoritie in ye Gospel.
19 Nga mwet sukosok se, ac nga tia mwet kohs lun kutena mwet. Tusruktu nga sifacna oru tuh nga in mwet kohs lun mwet nukewa, tuh nga in pwanma mwet puspis tuh elos in lulalfongi in Christ.
For though I bee free from all men, yet haue I made my selfe seruant vnto all men, that I might winne the moe.
20 Ke nga orekma yurin mwet Jew, nga moul oana sie mwet Jew, tuh nga in kifasulosme. Finne nga sifacna nga tia oan ye Ma Sap lal Moses, a nga moul oana ngan oan ye Ma Sap ke nga orekma yorolos su oan ye Ma Sap, tuh nga in oayapa kifasulosme.
And vnto the Iewes, I become as a Iewe, that I may winne the Iewes: to them that are vnder the Lawe, as though I were vnder the Lawe, that I may winne them that are vnder the Lawe:
21 In lumah sacna, ke nga orekma yurin mwet sayen mwet Jew, nga moul oana sie selos, ac nga tia fahsr tukun Ma Sap lun mwet Jew, tuh nga in pwanma mwet sayen mwet Jew nu ke moul. Tia kalmen ouiya se inge pa nga seakos ma sap lun God, tuh pwayeiya uh nga oan ye ma sap lun Christ.
To them that are without Lawe, as though I were without Lawe, (when I am not without Lawe as pertaining to God, but am in the Lawe through Christ) that I may winne them that are without Lawe:
22 Inmasrlon mwet su munas in lulalfongi, nga oru tuh nga in munas oana sie selos, tuh nga in kifasulosme. Ke ma inge nga ekla ma nukewa nu sin mwet nukewa, tuh nga in ku in molela kutu selos ke kutena inkanek nga ku in orekmakin.
To the weake I become as weake, that I may winne the weake: I am made all thinges to all men, that I might by all meanes saue some.
23 Nga oru ma inge nukewa ke sripen Pweng Wo, tuh nga in wi ipeis ke mwe insewowo kac.
And this I doe for the Gospels sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
24 Kowos etu na lah mwet kasrusr puspis wi kasrusr akutun, a mwet sefanna selos eis molin kutangla. Ke ma inge, kasrusr ouingan tuh kowos in ku in eis molin kutangla.
Knowe ye not, that they which runne in a race, runne all, yet one receiueth the price? so runne that ye may obtaine.
25 Mwet srital nukewa eisalosyang nu ke mwe akpah upa puspis, tuh elos fah ku in sunya sie tefuro sukawil, a kut orekma nu ke sie tefuro su ma na nwe tok.
And euery man that proueth masteries, abstaineth from all things: and they do it to obtaine a corruptible crowne: but we for an vncorruptible.
26 Pa oru nga kasrusr suwosna in sun saflaiya, ac nga oana sie mwet fisik su tia fisik ke wangin sripa.
I therefore so runne, not as vncertainely: so fight I, not as one that beateth the ayre.
27 Nga arulana akkeye monuk ke puopo, ac sifacna karinginyu tuh nga in tia sufalla tukun nga fahkak Pweng Wo ac pwanma mwet nu ke moul in srike.
But I beate downe my body, and bring it into subiection, lest by any meanes after that I haue preached to other, I my selfe should be reproued.
