Furthermore David the king said to all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God has chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.
2 Nga sang kuiyuk nufon in akoo kufwa nu ke tempul se inge: gold, silver, bronze, osra, sak, kain in eot saok pukanten, eot in yun, ac eot marble mwe musa.
Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colors, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.
3 Sayen ma inge nukewa ma nga srukak in kasru, nga sang pac gold ac silver luk sifacna, ke sripen lungse lulap luk nu ke Tempul lun God.
Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of my own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house.
4 Nga srukak siofok singoul limekosr tuhn in gold ma wo emeet, oayapa luofoko onngoul limekosr tuhn in silver nasnas, ma in sang nawu sinka ke Tempul uh,
Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses with:
5 ac ma nukewa ma mwet sroasr elos ac fah orala. Inge, su ac wi pac engan in sang mwe lung na yohk nu sin LEUM GOD?”
The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day to the LORD?
6 Na mwet kol ke kais sie sou lulap ac mwet kol lun kais sie sruf, captain lun un mwet mweun, ac mwet pwapa fulat lun tokosra elos insewowo in sang
Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king’s work, offered willingly,
7 ma inge nu ke orekma ke Tempul uh: tuhn siofok eungoul ke gold, tuhn tolfoko oalngoul ke silver, tuhn onfoko itngoul limekosr ke bronze, ac tuhn tolu tausin itfoko lumngaul ke osra.
And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.
8 Elos su oasr eot saok yorolos elos sang nu ke nien filma ke Tempul, su ma inge karinginyuk sel Jehiel, sie mwet Levi in sou lal Gershon.
And they with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.
9 Mwet uh insewowo in sang nu sin LEUM GOD, ac elos arulana engan lah pus ma orekeni. Tokosra David el oayapa arulana engan.
Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.
10 Ingo ye mutun walil sac Tokosra David el kaksakin LEUM GOD ac fahk, “O LEUM GOD lal Jacob, papa tumasr, lela tuh Inem in kaksakinyuk nwe tok ma pahtpat.
Why David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be you, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
11 Kom fulat ac ku, wolana ac pwengpeng, ac mangol in ma nukewa. Ma lom ma nukewa in kusrao ac fin faclu. Kom pa tokosra, ac kom leum fin ma nukewa.
Yours, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is yours; your is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all.
12 Mwe kasrup nukewa ma tuku sum me. Kom nununku ma nukewa ke wal ac ku lom, ac kom ku in oru tuh kutena mwet in pwengpeng ac ku.
Both riches and honor come of you, and you reign over all; and in your hand is power and might; and in your hand it is to make great, and to give strength to all.
13 Inge, God lasr, kut sot kulo nu sum, ac kut kaksakin Ine wolana lom.
Now therefore, our God, we thank you, and praise your glorious name.
14 “Tusruktu, nga ac mwet luk, koflana asot kutena ma nu sum, mweyen ma nukewa ma kom ase nu sesr ke lung, ac kut folokin nu sum ma su nuna ma lom.
But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of you, and of your own have we given you.
15 Kom etu, O LEUM GOD, lah kut moul oana mwet takusrkusr ac mwetsac, oapana moul lun mwet matu lasr somla. Len lasr oana sie lul su ac sa na wanginla, ac kut koflana kaingkunla misa.
For we are strangers before you, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
16 O LEUM GOD lasr, kut orani mwe kasrup inge nukewa tuh in sang musaeak sie tempul in akfulatye Ine mutal lom, tusruktu ma inge nukewa nuna ma lom ac tuku sum me.
O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build you an house for your holy name comes of your hand, and is all your own.
17 Nga etu tuh kom srike insien kais sie mwet, ac kom insewowo sin mwet suwoswos. Nga engan in asot ma inge nukewa nu sum ke inse suwohs ac pwaye, ac nga liye lupan engan lun mwet lom su tukeni inge ke elos asot mwe lung lalos nu sum.
I know also, my God, that you try the heart, and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy your people, which are present here, to offer willingly to you.
18 O LEUM GOD lun papa matu tumasr Abraham, Isaac, ac Jacob, oru tuh ouiya se inge ac nunak wo inge ke insien mwet lom in oanna nwe tok, ac kololos tuh elos in pwayena ac oaru nu sum.
O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of your people, and prepare their heart to you:
19 Asang nu sel Solomon, wen nutik, tuh elan akos ma sap lom nukewa ke insial nufon, ac oayapa tuh elan musai Tempul se su nga akoo inge.”
And give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep your commandments, your testimonies, and your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.
20 Na David el sapkin nu sin mwet uh, “Kowos in kaksakin LEUM GOD lowos!” Ac u sac nufon kaksakin LEUM GOD, God lun mwet matu lalos, ac elos pasrlana nwe ten in akfulatye LEUM GOD oayapa tokosra lalos.
And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and the king.
21 In len tok ah elos uniya kosro ac kisakin nu sin LEUM GOD, na elos sang nu sin mwet uh elos in mongo kac. Sayen ma inge elos kisakin sie tausin cow mukul, sie tausin sheep mukul, ac sie tausin sheep fusr su fonna ac firiryak fin loang uh. Elos oayapa use wain tuh in mwe sang lalos.
And they sacrificed sacrifices to the LORD, and offered burnt offerings to the LORD, on the morrow after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:
22 Ouinge in len sac elos arulana engan ke elos mongo ac nim ye mutun LEUM GOD. Elos fahkak pacl se akluo lah Solomon el tokosra lalos. Ke Inen LEUM GOD elos mosrwella tuh elan leum lalos. Elos oayapa mosrwella Zadok tuh elan mwet tol.
And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him to the LORD to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.
23 Ke ma inge Solomon el eis acn sel David, papa tumal, fin tron su LEUM GOD El tuh oakiya. El sie togusra na wowo, ac mwet Israel nukewa elos aksol.
Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.
24 Mwet pwapu ac mwet mweun nukewa, oayapa wen nukewa natul David elos wulela mu elos ac insese nu sel Tokosra Solomon.
And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves to Solomon the king.
25 LEUM GOD El oru tuh mutunfacl sac nufon in arulana akfulatyal Solomon, ac El oru tuh elan pwengpeng yohk liki kutena tokosra lun Israel.
And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed on him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.
26 David, wen natul Jesse, el leum fin Israel nufon
Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.
27 ke lusen yac angngaul. El leum in acn Hebron ke yac itkosr, ac in acn Jerusalem ke yac tolngoul tolu.
And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.
28 El arulana matu ke el misa, ac el kasrup ac akfulatyeyuk sin mwet uh. Solomon, wen natul, el aolul in tokosra.
And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.

Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer,
30 Ma simusla inge fahkak ouiyen kolyuk lal, ac lupan ku lal, ac ma nukewa ma sikyak nu sel ac nu sin Israel, oayapa nu sin tokosrai ma oan raunelosla.
With all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries.
