그 모든 자녀가 위로하되 그가 그 위로를 받지 아니하여 가로되 `내가 슬퍼하며 음부에 내려 아들에게로 가리라' 하고 그 아비가 그를 위하여 울었더라 (Sheol h7585)
And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, For I will go down to the grave to my son mourning. And his father wept for him. (Sheol h7585)
야곱이 가로되 `내 아들은 너희와 함께 내려가지 못하리니 그의 형은 죽고 그만 남았음이라 만일 너희 행하는 길에서 재난이 그 몸에 미치면 너희가 나의 흰 머리로 슬피 음부로 내려가게 함이 되리라' (Sheol h7585)
And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he only is left: if mischief befall him by the way in the which ye go, then shall ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave. (Sheol h7585)
너희가 이도 내게서 취하여 가려한즉 만일 재해가 그 몸에 미치면 나의 흰 머리로 슬피 음부로 내려가게 하리라 하니 (Sheol h7585)

it shall come to pass, when he seeth that the lad is not [with us], that he will die: and thy servants shall bring down the gray hairs of thy servant our father with sorrow to the grave. (Sheol h7585)
만일 여호와께서 새 일을 행하사 땅으로 입을 열어 이 사람들과 그들의 모든 소속을 삼켜 산 채로 음부에 빠지게 하시면 이 사람들이 과연 여호와를 멸시한 것인 줄을 너희가 알리라' (Sheol h7585)
But if the LORD make a new thing, and the ground open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down alive into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have despised the LORD. (Sheol h7585)
그들과 그 모든 소속이 산 채로 음부에 빠지며 땅이 그 위에 합하니 그들이 총회 중에서 망하니라 (Sheol h7585)
So they, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit: and the earth closed upon them, and they perished from among the assembly. (Sheol h7585)
내 분노의 불이 일어나서 음부 깊은 곳까지 사르며 땅의 그 소산을 삼키며 산들의 터도 붙게 하는도다 (Sheol h7585)
For a fire is kindled in mine anger, And burneth unto the lowest pit, And devoureth the earth with her increase, And setteth on fire the foundations of the mountains. (Sheol h7585)

The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. (Sheol h7585)

Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not his hoar head go down to the grave in peace. (Sheol h7585)
그러나 저를 무죄한 자로 여기지 말지어다 너는 지혜있는 사람인즉 저에게 행할 일을 알지니 그 백발의 피를 흘려 저로 음부에 내려가게 하라 (Sheol h7585)
Now therefore hold him not guiltless, for thou art a wise man; and thou wilt know what thou oughtest to do unto him, and thou shalt bring his hoar head down to the grave with blood. (Sheol h7585)
구름이 사라져 없어짐 같이 음부로 내려가는 자는 다시 올라오지 못할 것이오니 (Sheol h7585)
As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away, so he that goeth down to Sheol shall come up no more. (Sheol h7585)
하늘보다 높으시니 네가 어찌 하겠으며 음부보다 깊으시니 네가 어찌 알겠느냐? (Sheol h7585)
It is high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than Sheol; what canst thou know? (Sheol h7585)
주는 나를 음부에 감추시며 주의 진노가 쉴 때까지 나를 숨기시고 나를 위하여 기한을 정하시고 나를 기억하옵소서 (Sheol h7585)
Oh that thou wouldest hide me in Sheol, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me! (Sheol h7585)
내 소망이 음부로 내 집을 삼음에 있어서 침상을 흑암에 베풀고 (Sheol h7585)
If I look for Sheol as mine house; if I have spread my couch in the darkness; (Sheol h7585)
흙 속에서 쉴 때에는 소망이 음부 문으로 내려갈 뿐이니라 (Sheol h7585)
It shall go down to the bars of Sheol, when once there is rest in the dust. (Sheol h7585)
그날을 형통하게 지내다가 경각간에 음부에 내려가느니라 (Sheol h7585)
They spend their days in prosperity, and in a moment they go down to Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
가뭄과 더위가 눈 녹은 물을 곧 말리나니 음부가 범죄자에게도 그와 같은 것인즉 (Sheol h7585)
Drought and heat consume the snow waters: [so doth] Sheol [those which] have sinned. (Sheol h7585)
하나님 앞에는 음부도 드러나며 멸망의 웅덩이도 가리움이 없음이니라 (Sheol h7585)
Sheol is naked before him, and Abaddon hath no covering. (Sheol h7585)
사망중에서는 주를 기억함이 없사오니 음부에서 주께 감사할 자 누구리이까? (Sheol h7585)
For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in Sheol who shall give thee thanks? (Sheol h7585)
악인이 음부로 돌아감이여 하나님을 잊어버린 모든 열방이 그리하리로다 (Sheol h7585)
The wicked shall return to Sheol, even all the nations that forget God. (Sheol h7585)

무릇 네 손이 일을 당하는대로 힘을 다하여 할찌어다 네가 장차 들어갈 음부에는 일도 없고 계획도 없고 지식도 없고 지혜도 없음이니라 (Sheol h7585)
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do [it] with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. (Sheol h7585)
너는 나를 인 같이 마음에 품고 도장 같이 팔에 두라 사랑은 죽음 같이 강하고 투기는 음부같이 잔혹하며 불같이 일어나니 그 기세가 여호와의 불과 같으니라 (Sheol h7585)
Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the flashes thereof are flashes of fire, a very flame of the LORD. (Sheol h7585)
음부가 그 욕망을 크게 내어 한량 없이 그 입을 벌린즉 그들의 호화로움과 그들의 많은 무리와 그들의 떠드는 것과 그 중에서 연락하는 자가 거기 빠질 것이라 (Sheol h7585)
Therefore hell hath enlarged her desire, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth among them, descend [into it]. (Sheol h7585)
너는 네 하나님 여호와께 한 징조를 구하되 깊은 데서든지 높은데서든지 구하라 (Sheol h7585)
Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. (Sheol h7585)
아래의 음부가 너로 인하여 소동하여 너의 옴을 영접하되 그것이 세상에서의 모든 영웅을 너로 인하여 동하게 하며 열방의 모든 왕으로 그 보좌에서 일어서게 하므로 (Sheol h7585)
Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. (Sheol h7585)
네 영화가 음부에 떨어졌음이여 너의 비파 소리까지로다 구더기가 네 아래 깔림이여 지렁이가 너를 덮었도다 (Sheol h7585)
Thy pomp is brought down to hell, [and] the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and worms cover thee. (Sheol h7585)
그러나 이제 네가 음부 곧 구덩이의 맨 밑에 빠치우리로다 (Sheol h7585)
Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the uttermost parts of the pit. (Sheol h7585)
너희 말이 우리는 사망과 언약하였고 음부와 맹약하였은즉 넘치는 재앙이 유행할지라도 우리에게 미치지 못하리니 우리는 거짓으로 우리 피난처를 삼았고 허위 아래 우리를 숨겼음이라 하는도다 (Sheol h7585)
Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us; for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: (Sheol h7585)
너희의 사망으로 더불어 세운 언약이 폐하며 음부로 더불어 맺은 맹약이 서지 못하여 넘치는 재앙이 유행할 때에 너희가 그것에게 밟힘을 당할 것이라 (Sheol h7585)
And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. (Sheol h7585)
내가 말하기를 내가 중년에 음부의 문에 들어가고 여년을 빼앗기게 되리라 하였도다 (Sheol h7585)
I said, In the noontide of my days I shall go into the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years. (Sheol h7585)
음부가 주께 사례하지 못하며 사망이 주를 찬양하지 못하며 구덩이에 들어간 자가 주의 신실을 바라지 못하되 (Sheol h7585)
For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. (Sheol h7585)
네가 기름을 가지고 몰렉에게 나아가되 향품을 더욱 더하였으며 네가 또 사신을 원방에 보내고 음부까지 스스로 낮추었으며 (Sheol h7585)
And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and didst send thine ambassadors far off, and didst debase thyself even unto hell. (Sheol h7585)
나 주 여호와가 말하노라 그가 음부에 내려가던 날에 내가 그를 위하여 애곡하게 하며 깊은 바다를 덮으며 모든 강을 쉬게 하며 큰 물을 그치게 하고 레바논으로 그를 위하여 애곡하게 하며 들의 모든 나무로 그로 인하여 쇠잔하게 하였느니라 (Sheol h7585)
Thus saith the Lord GOD: In the day when he went down to hell I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the rivers thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him. (Sheol h7585)
내가 그로 구덩이에 내려가는 자와 함께 음부에 떨어뜨리던 때에 열국으로 그 떨어지는 소리를 인하여 진동하게 하였고 물 대임을받은 에덴의 모든 나무 곧 레바논의 뛰어나고 아름다운 나무들로 지하에서 위로를 받게 하였느니라 (Sheol h7585)

용사 중에 강한 자가 그를 돕는 자와 함께 음부 가운데서 그에게 말함이여 할례 받지 않은 자 곧 칼에 살륙 당한 자들이 내려와서 가만히 누웠다 하리로다 (Sheol h7585)
The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie still, even the uncircumcised, slain by the sword. (Sheol h7585)
그들이 할례 받지 못한 자 중에 이미 엎드러진 용사와 함께 누운 것이 마땅치 아니하냐 이 용사들은 다 병기를 가지고 음부에 내려 자기의 칼을 베게 하였으니 그 백골이 자기 죄악을 졌음이여 생존 세상에서 용사의 두려움이 있던 자로다 (Sheol h7585)
And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war, and have laid their swords under their heads, and their iniquities are upon their bones; for [they were] the terror of the mighty in the land of the living. 내가 저희를 음부의 권세에서 속량하며 사망에서 구속하리니 사망아 네 재앙이 어디 있느냐? 음부야 네 멸망이 어디 있느냐? 뉘우침이 내 목전에 숨으리라 (Sheol h7585)
I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, where are thy plagues? O grave, where is thy destruction? repentance shall be hid from mine eyes. (Sheol h7585)
저희가 파고 음부로 들어갈찌라도 내 손이 거기서 취하여 낼 것이요 하늘로 올라갈찌라도 내가 거기서 취하여 내리울 것이며 (Sheol h7585)
Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; and though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down. (Sheol h7585)
가로되 내가 받는 고난을 인하여 여호와께 불러 아뢰었삽더니 주께서 내게 대답하셨고 내가 스올의 뱃속에서 부르짖었삽더니 주께서 나의 음성을 들으셨나이다 (Sheol h7585)
And he said, I called by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he answered me; out of the belly of hell cried I, [and] thou heardest my voice. (Sheol h7585)
그는 술을 즐기며 궤휼하며 교만하여 가만히 있지 아니하고 그 욕심을 음부처럼 넓히며 또 그는 사망같아서 족한 줄을 모르고 자기에게로 만국을 모으며 만민을 모으나니 (Sheol h7585)
Yea, moreover, wine is a treacherous dealer, a haughty man, and that keepeth not at home; who enlargeth his desire as hell, and he is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all peoples. (Sheol h7585)
나는 너희에게 이르노니 형제에게 노하는 자마다 심판을 받게 되고 형제를 대하여 라가라 하는 자는 공회에 잡히게 되고 미련한 놈이라 하는 자는 지옥 불에 들어가게 되리라 (Geenna g1067)
but I say unto you, that every one who is angry with his brother shall be in danger of the judgment; and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council; and whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of the hell of fire. (Geenna g1067)

몸은 죽여도 영혼은 능히 죽이지 못하는 자들을 두려워하지 말고 오직 몸과 영혼을 능히 지옥에 멸하시는 자를 두려워하라! (Geenna g1067)
And be not afraid of them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Geenna g1067)

가라지를 심은 원수는 마귀요 추수 때는 세상 끝이요 추숫군은 천사들이니 (aiōn g165)
and the enemy that sowed them is the devil: and the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are angels. (aiōn g165)
그런즉 가라지를 거두어 불에 사르는 것같이 세상 끝에도 그러하리라 (aiōn g165)
As therefore the tares are gathered up and burned with fire; so shall it be in the end of the world. (aiōn g165)

또 내 이름을 위하여 집이나 형제나 자매나 부모나 자식이나 전토를 버린 자마다 여러 배를 받고 또 영생을 상속하리라 (aiōnios g166)

아무도 자기를 속이지 말라 너희 중에 누구든지 이 세상에서 지혜 있는 줄로 생각하거든 미련한 자가 되어라 그리하여야 지혜로운 자가 되리라 (aiōn g165)
Let no man deceive himself. If any man thinketh that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise. (aiōn g165)

저가 무저갱을 여니 그 구멍에서 큰 풀무의 연기 같은 연기가 올라오매 해와 공기가 그 구멍의 연기로 인하여 어두워지며 (Abyssos g12)
And he opened the pit of the abyss; and there went up a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. (Abyssos g12)
저희에게 임금이 있으니 무저갱의 사자라 히브리 음으로 이름은 아바돈이요 헬라 음으로 이름은 아볼루온이더라 (Abyssos g12)
They have over them as king the angel of the abyss: his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek [tongue] he hath the name Apollyon. (Abyssos g12)
세세토록 살아계신 자 곧 하늘과 그 가운데 있는 물건이며 땅과 그 가운데 있는 물건이며 바다와 그 가운데 있는 물건을 창조하신 이를 가리켜 맹세하여 가로되 지체하지 아니하리니 (aiōn g165)
and sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created the heaven and the things that are therein, and the earth and the things that are therein, and the sea and the things that are therein, that there shall be time no longer: (aiōn g165)
저희가 그 증거를 마칠 때에 무저갱으로부터 올라오는 짐승이 저희로 더불어 전쟁을 일으켜 저희를 이기고 저희를 죽일 터인즉 (Abyssos g12)
And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that cometh up out of the abyss shall make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them. (Abyssos g12)
일곱째 천사가 나팔을 불매 하늘에 큰 음성들이 나서 가로되 `세상 나라가 우리 주와 그 그리스도의 나라가 되어 그가 세세토록 왕노릇하시리로다' 하니 (aiōn g165)
And the seventh angel sounded; and there followed great voices in heaven, and they said, The kingdom of the world is become [the kingdom] of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
또 보니 다른 천사가 공중에 날아가는데 땅에 거하는 자들 곧 여러 나라와 족속과 방언과 백성에게 전할 영원한 복음을 가졌더라 (aiōnios g166)
And I saw another angel flying in mid heaven, having an eternal gospel to proclaim unto them that dwell on the earth, and unto every nation and tribe and tongue and people; (aiōnios g166)
그 고난의 연기가 세세토록 올라가리로다 짐승과 그의 우상에게 경배하고 그 이름의 표를 받는 자는 누구든지 밤낮 쉼을 얻지 못하리라' 하더라 (aiōn g165)
and the smoke of their torment goeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, they that worship the beast and his image, and whoso receiveth the mark of his name. (aiōn g165)

And one of the four living creatures gave unto the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
네가 본 짐승은 전에 있었다가 시방 없으나 장차 무저갱으로부터 올라와 멸망으로 들어갈 자니 땅에 거하는 자들로서 창세 이후로 생명책에 녹명되지 못한 자들이 이전에 있었다가 시방 없으나 장차 나올 짐승을 보고 기이히 여기리라 (Abyssos g12)
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss, and to go into perdition. And they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, [they] whose name hath not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast, how that he was, and is not, and shall come. 두번째 가로되 할렐루야 하더니 그 연기가 세세토록 올라가더라 (aiōn g165)
And a second time they say, Hallelujah. And her smoke goeth up for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
또 내가 보매 천사가 무저갱 열쇠와 큰 쇠사슬을 그 손에 가지고 하늘로서 내려와서 (Abyssos g12)
And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. (Abyssos g12)
무저갱에 던져 잠그고 그 위에 인봉하여 천 년이 차도록 다시는 만국을 미혹하지 못하게 하였다가 그 후에는 반드시 잠간 놓이리라 (Abyssos g12)
and cast him into the abyss, and shut [it], and sealed [it] over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years should be finished: after this he must be loosed for a little time. (Abyssos g12)
바다가 그 가운데서 죽은 자들을 내어주고 또 사망과 음부도 그 가운데서 죽은 자들을 내어주매 각 사람이 자기의 행위대로 심판을 받고 (Hadēs g86)
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. (Hadēs g86)
다시 밤이 없겠고 등불과 햇빛이 쓸데 없으니 이는 주 하나님이 저희에게 비취심이라 저희가 세세토록 왕노릇하리로다 (aiōn g165)
And there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
