1 Kisha lijhoka likajhema panani pa n'sanga mu ufukwe bhwa bahari. Kisha nikabhona mnyama ihomela mu bahari. Ajhele ni mang'eru kumi ni mitu saba. Mu mang'eru ghake kwajhele ni taji kumi, ni pa mutu pake pajhele ni malobhi gha kufuru kwa K'yara.
And I saw, out of the sea, a wild-beast coming up; having ten horns, and seven heads, and, upon his horns, ten diadems, and, upon his head, names of blasphemy.
2 Mnyama ojho jha nibwene ajhe kama s'obhi. Magolo ghake ghajhele kama dubu, ni ndomo bhwa muene bhwajhele kama simba. Lijhoka lela likampela nghofu, na pakiti kya enzi, ni mamlaka ghaghajhele ni nghofu nesu jha kutawala.
And, the beast which I saw, was like unto a leopard; and, his feet, as of a bear, and, his mouth, as the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave unto him his power, and his throne, and great authority.
3 Mutu ghwa mnyama mmojawapo kyabhoniki kujha ni lijeraha libhaha ambalyo ngalisababisi mauti gha muene. Lakini lijeraha lya muene lyaponili, ni dunia jhioha jhasyangesibhu ni kun'kesya mnyama.
And [I saw] one of his heads, showing that it had been slain unto death, and, the stroke of his death, was healed. And the whole earth marveled after the wild-beast,
4 Kabhele bhakaliabudu lijhoka, maana ampelili mamlaka jhola mnyama. Bhakamwabudu mnyama kabhele, na bhajhendelili kujobha, “Niani kama mnyama? na “Niani ibetakukomana naku?”
and did homage unto the dragon, because he gave his authority unto the wild-beast; and they did homage unto the wild-beast, saying—Who is like unto the wild-beast? and Who can make war with him?
5 Mnyama akapelibhwa ndomo ili alongelayi malobhi gha kwisifila ni malighu. Aruhusibhu kujha ni mamlaka kwa miesi arobaini ni mibhele.
And there was given unto him, a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and it was given unto him to act, forty and two months.
6 Hivyo mnyama adajhuili ndomo ghwa muene kulongela malighu dhidi jha K'yara, alilighili lihina lya muene, lieneo lya atameghe ni bhala bhabhitama kumbinguni.
And he opened his mouth for blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tent, —them, who, in heaven were tabernacling.
7 Mnyama aruhusibhu kubhomba vita ni bhaamini ni kubhashinda. Kabhele, apelibhu mamlaka juu jha khila likabila, bhanu, lugha ni taifa.
[And it was given unto him, to make war with the saints, and to overcome them; ] and there was given him, authority against every tribe and people and tongue and nation.
8 Bhoha bhatameghe paduniani bhibetakumwabudu muene, khila mmonga ambajhe lihina lya muene lijhandiki bhulepi, kuhoma uumbaji bhwa dunia, mu kitabu kya uzima, ambakyo ndo mwanakondoo, ambajhe achinjibhu.
And all they who are dwelling upon the earth will do homage unto him, —[every one] whose name is not written in the scroll of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 Ikajhiajhi muene ajhe ni mbol'okoto, na apelekesiajhi.
If anyone hath an ear: let him hear.
10 Ikajhele mmojawapo atolibhu mateka, ni kumateka ilota. Ikajhiajhi mmojawapo ibeta kuhoma kwa upanga, kwa upanga ibetakukomibhwa. Obho ndo mwilota bhwa utulivu ni uvumilivu ni imani kwa abhu bhabhajhele bhatakatifu.
If anyone [carrieth] into captivity, into captivity, he goeth away. If anyone, with a sword, doth slay, he must, with a sword, be slain. Here, is the endurance and the faith of the saints.
11 Kabhele nabhwene mnyama jhongi ihida kuhoma mu nchi. Ajhele mwenye mang'eru mabhele kama likondoo na alongelili kama lijhoka.
And I saw another wild-beast, coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns, like unto a lamb, and began speaking as a dragon.
12 Alasili mamlaka ghoha kwa mnyama jhola ghwa kuanza mu uwepo bhwa muene ni kukheta pa dunia ni bhala bhabhiishi kumwabudu jhola mnyama ghwa kuanza, jhola ambajhe jeraha lya muene lyaponili.
And, all the authority of the first wild-beast, he useth before him; and causeth the earth, and them who, therein, are dwelling, that they shall do homage unto the first wild-beast, whose stroke of death, was healed.
13 Akabhomba miujiza jha jhijhele ni nghofu, hata akatengenesya muoto uselelayi pa dunia Kuhoma kumbinguni palongolo pa bhanu,
And he doeth great signs, so that, even fire, he causeth to be coming down unto the earth before men;
14 ni kwa ishara aruhusibhu kubhomba akabhakofya abhu bhabhitama mu dunia, akabhajobhela kutengenesya sanamu kwa heshima jha mnyama ambajhe ajeruhibhu kwa upanga, lakini bado akajhaiishi.
and he deceiveth them who are dwelling upon the earth, by reason of the signs which it was given him to do before the wild-beast, —saying unto them who are dwelling upon the earth, that they should make an image unto the wild-beast who hath the stroke of the sword, and yet did live.
15 Aruhusibhu kupisya pumzi mu sanamu jhela jha mnyama ili sanamu jhibhwesiajhi kulongela ni kusababisya bhala bhoha bhabhabelili kumwabudu mnyama na bhakhomibhwayi.
And it was given unto it, to give spirit unto the image of the wild-beast, in order that the image of the wild-beast should both speak and should cause that, as many as should not do homage unto the image of the wild-beast, should be slain.
16 Kabhele alasimisi khila mmonga jha abelikujha ni thamani ni mwenye nghofu, tajiri ni maskini, huru ni mtumwa, kupokela alama mu kibhokho Kya kuume au mu paji lya pamihu.
And he causeth all—the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, —that they should give unto them a mark, upon their right hand or upon their forehead;
17 Jhikajha jhibhwesekana lepi kwa kila munu kugo'lesya au kutola isi mwenye alama jha mnyama, na e'j'he ndo namba jha kuwakilisya lihina lya muene.
[and] that no one should be able to buy or to sell, save he that hath the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Ejhe jhilonda busara. Ikajhiajhi jhejhioha ajhe ni ufahamu, ndekayi abhwesiajhi kubhomba. Maana ndo namba jha kibinadamu. Namba jha muene ndo 666.
Here, is, wisdom: he that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast, for it is, the number of a man; and, his number, is 666.
