Wafilipi 1

1 Pauli ni Timoti, bhatumishi bha Kristu Yesu, kwa bhala bhatengibhu mwa kristu bhabhitema Filipi, pamonga ni bhabhiyangilila ni mashemasi.

Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, together with the bishops and deacons:

2 Neema na j'hiyelayi kwa muenga ni amani j'hayih'omela kwa K'yara dadiyetu ni Bwana bhitu Yesu kristu.

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 Nikammbombesya K'yara bhengu kila pa nikabhak'homb'hoka muenga mwebhoha.

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,

4 Mara syoha kila liombi lyangu kwa ndabha j'ha mwenga mwebhoha, huwa nikobhoka panikabhas'omela.

always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy

5 Niyele ni shukrani limehele kwandabha j'ha ushirika bhw'henu muinjili kuh'omela ligono lya lya kubhwandelu mpaka lelu.

on account of your fellowship in the cause of the gospel from the first day until now;

6 Niyele nibhuhakika kuj'ha muene j'haoyandisi lihengu linofu mugati mwa muenga ibeyendelela kuj'hikamilisya mpaka ligono lya Bwana YesuKristu.

being confident of this very thing, that he who began in you a good work, will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus;

7 Ni sawa kwa nene kujip'heleka naha nalabha j'hamuenga mwabhoha kwa nakbha mmbabhakhili mun'teema bhwangu. Kwandabha muenga muyele bhashirika bhayinu mwa neema mukifungu kyangu ni mu utetezi ni bhuthibitishaji bhwangu bhwa injili.

even as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, all of you being sharers of the grace bestowed on me.

8 K'yara ndo shahidi ghwa nene, ndabha kyaniyele ni shauku ndabha j'ha muenga mwebhoha mu ugati ghwa pendo lya Yesu kristu.

For God is my witness how much I long for you all in the tender affection of Christ Jesus.

9 Na nis'oma kuj'ha: lugano lwinu bhuyongesekai zaidi ni zaidi mu maarifa ni luhala lwoha.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all discernment;

10 Nis'oma kwandabha j'ha e'le muyelai kinofu ni bhuwezo bhwa kup'hema ni kuchagula mambo ghaghayele kinofu sana. Pia nikihabhas'omela ili muyelai kinofu bila kuj'ha nihatia j'hoj'hioha y'hela muligono lya Kristu.

so that ye may approve the things that are most excellent, in order that ye may be pure and without offence against the day of Christ,

11 Na pia ili mmemesibhwaya ni litunda lya haki lyalipatikana mwa Yesu Kristu, kwa bhutukufu ni sifa j'ha K'yara.

being filled with the fruit of righteousness which is through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

12 Henu bhalongobhangu, nilonda mmanyayi kuj'ha mambo ghaghah'omili kwa nene ghaghaifwanjili injili iyendelelayi sana.

But I wish you to know, brethren, that things with me have resulted in the furtherance of the gospel;

13 Ndo maana fifungu fyangu mu Kristu, fimanyik'hene kwa bhalinzi bha ikulu iyoha ni kwa k'hila munu pia.

so that my bonds have become known in connection with Christ in the whole camp of the imperial guards, and to all the rest;

14 Ni bhalongo bhingi mu Bhwana kwandabha j'ha fifungu fyanene bhashawishiki nikuthubutu kulihubiri lilobhi bila khutila.

and that the great part of the brethren, made confident in the Lord by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

15 Bhamana kuweli hata bhikhanta ngasya Kristu kwa fitina ningondo, na pia bhamana kwa nia yinofu.

Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from good will.

16 Bhala bhabhakantangasya Kristu kwa lugano bhamanyili kuj'ha nibhekhibhu apanai kwa ndabha j'ha kuitetela injili.

but they who are of a factious spirit preach Christ with no pure intent, thinking to stir up affliction to my bonds.

17 Bali bhangi bhikantangasya Kristu, kwa bhubinafsi ni kwa nia yibaya. Bhidhanila kuj'ha bhisababisya matatizo kwa nene muminyororo ghyangu.

They who are of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel;

18 Henu? nijali lepi aidha nj'hela iyelai ni kwa hilarious au kwa bhukweli, Kristu itangasibhwa ni mu e'le nihobhok'hela! Ndo, nibekuhobhokila.

What then? Notwithstanding, in every way, whether in pretence or in truth, Christ is preached; and therein do I rejoice, yea, and shall rejoice.

19 kwa kuj'ha nimanyili e'le libekutokula kubhopolibhwa kwa nene. like Jambo e'le libekutokula kwandabha j'ha maombi ghinu ni kwa msaada bhwa Roho j'ha yes Kristu.

For I know that this will turn out to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

20 kul'hengana ni matajio ghangu ghabhuhakika ni ibhukweli ni kwamba, nibebhona lepisoni. Badala yiake, kwabhujasiri bhuoha, Kama ambavyo magono ghoha ni henu, nitarajila kuj'ha Kristu ibekuyinulibhwa mu mb'hele bhwangu, ikayelaye mu bhusima au mu kafwelelu.

according to my earnest expectation and hope, that in nothing I shall be put to shame, but that with all boldness, as always, so also now, Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life, or by death.

21 kwa maana kwanene kuishi ni Kristu na kufwa ni faida.

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

22 lakini Kama kutama mu m'mb'hele wihogola litunda mu lihengu lyangu, kwahenu nd'hesi l'el'eku lya kuchagula.

But if to live in the flesh, if this is to me the fruit of my labor, then what I should choose, I cannot say;

23 Maana nisukumibhwa sana ni mawazo agha mab'hele. Niye ni hamu j'ha kuleka m'mb'hele ni kuj'ha pamonja ni Kristu, k'henu ambakyo ni kya thamani sanasana.

but I am held in a strait by the two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; for it is far better;

24 Ingawa, kubakila mu m'mb'hele obho nik'henu kya mhimu sana kwa ndabha j'ha muenga.

but to abide in the flesh is more needful for your sake.

25 kwa kuj'ha niyele ni bhuhakika kwa ndabha j'ha e'le nimanyili nibhebakila nikuj'hendelela kuj'ha pamonja namu mwe bhoha, kwa ndabha j'ha maendeleo ni furaha j'ha muenga.

And being persuaded of this, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your advancement and joy in your faith,

26 Na e'le libeleta furaha j'ha muenga ibhaha mwa kristu Yesu, kwa ndabha j'ha kuj'ha kwa nene yibekuyongeseka, kwa ndabha kuj'ha kwa nene kabhele pamonja namu.

that your glorying in me, in the cause of Christ Jesus, may be more abundant by my coming to you again.

27 Mwilondeka kutama maisha gha muenga mu mwenendo unofu ghwaghukayilonda injili j'lia Kristu. Mkhetayi mebhu ili nikahialayi kubhalanga au nikabelayi kuhiola, nip'helekai kuj'ha my'emili kinofu mu Roho yimonga. Natamani kup'eleka kuj'ha myele ni Roho yimonga, mkayikhomanela imani j'ha injili kwa pamonga.

Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, that whether I come and see you, or remain absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving together for the faith of the gospel,

28 msitisibhu ni k'henu kyokyok'hula kyakifwanyibhwa ni maadui bha muenga. Ey'e kwa bhene n'do ishara j'ha uharibifu. Bali kwa muenga n'do ishara j'ha bhwokovu kuh'oma kwa K'yara. kwa maana muenga mpelibhu kwa

and in nothing terrified by your adversaries; which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation; and that from God;

29 ndabha j'ha Kristu, sio kumwamini tu, bali ni kutesibhwa pia kwa muene.

for to you it was given in behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but in his behalf to suffer also;

30 kwa maana muye ni ngondo y'elay'ela Kama kyamkayibhwene kwa nenga na mwip'eleka kuj'ha niyenabhu hata h'enu.

as ye have the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear of in me.
