< Matayo 22 >
1 Yesu ajobhili nabhu kabhele mu mifuanu, akajobha,
And having responded, Jesus again spoke to them in parables, saying,
2 “Bhufalme bhwa kumbinguni bhwighwaningana ni mfalme jha ajhandele sherehe jha harusi jha mwanabhe.
The kingdom of the heavens is like a man, a king who made a wedding for his son.
3 Akabhatuma bhatumishi bha muene kubhakaribisya bhabhaalikibhu kuhida kusherehe jha harusi, lakini bhafiki lepi.
And he sent forth his bondmen to call those who were invited to the wedding festivities, and they did not want to come.
4 Mfalme abhatumili kabhele bhatumishi bhangi, akajobha. “Mubhajobhilayi bhoha bhabhaalikibhu, Mulangayi, niandele kyakulya. Fahali ni litoli lyanene lya linenipi bhachinjili ni mambo ghoha ghayele tayari, Muhidayi ku sherehe jha harusi.”
Again he sent forth other bondmen, saying, Speak to those who were invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and my fatlings have been killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding festivities.
But having disregarded, they departed, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise,
6 Bhangi bhabhajhinukili bhatumishi bha mfalme ni kubhaaibisya ni kubhakhoma.
and the others having seized his bondmen, abused and killed them.
7 Lakini mfalme adadili. Atumili jeshi lya muene, akabhakoma bhala bhakomaji ni kubhukosya mji ghwa bhene ni muoto.
But having heard that, the king was angry, and having sent forth his armies, he destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
8 Kisha akabhajobhela bhatumishi bha muene, “Harusi iyele tayari, lakini bhabhaalikibhu bhalondekeghe lepi.
Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding is indeed ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.
9 Henu mulotayi ku makutano gha njhela mbaha, mubhaalikayi bhanu bhingi kadiri kya jhilondeka bhahidai ku sherehe jha harusi.”
Go ye therefore to the crossings of the ways, and as many as ye may find, call to the wedding festivities.
Henu bhukumbi bhwa harusi bhwa memili bhahesya.
And those bondmen having departed into the roads, they gathered together all, as many as they found, both bad and good. And the wedding was filled with those who were dining.
11 Lakini mfalme bho ajhingili kubhalanga bhahesya ambwene munu mmonga ambajhe afwali lepi ligwanda rasmi lya harusi!
But when the king came in to see those who were dining, he saw there a man who was not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Mfalme akan'kota, 'Ndongo bhangu, ghwabhwesi bhuli kufika apa mugati bila ligwanda lya harusi?' Na munu ojhu an'jibili lepi khenu kyokyoha khela.
And he says to him, Friend, how did thou come in here not having a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Ndipo mfalme akabhajobhela bhatumishi bha muene, “Mun'kongoyi munu ojho mabhoko ni magolo mun'taghai kwibhala mu kitila, ekhu ambako kubeta kujha ni kilelu ni kusiagha minu.
Then the king said to the helpers, After binding him hands and feet, take him away and cast him out into the outer darkness. There will be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
For many are called, but few chosen.
15 Ndipo Mafarisayo bhakabhoka ni kupanga jinsi jha kun'kamula Yesu mu malobhi gha muene.
Then the Pharisees having departed, they took counsel how they might trap him in his talk.
And they send out their disciples to him, with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou are true, and teach the way of God in truth, and it is not a concern to thee about a man, for thou look not to the personage of men.
17 Henu tujobhilayi ghwifikilila kiki?
Tell us therefore, what does it seem to thee? Is it permitted to give tribute to Caesar or not?
18 Yesu akamanya bhuovu bhwa bhene na akajobha, “Kwandabha jhakiki mkanijaribu, muenga bhanafiki?
But Jesus having known their wickedness, said, Why do ye tempt me, ye hypocrites?
19 Mimilasiayi hela jhejhitumika kulep'hela kodi.” Ndipo bhakandetela dinari.
Exhibit to me the tribute money. And they brought to him a denarius.
20 Yesu akabhakhota, “Sura ni lihina ele lya niani?”
And he says to them, Whose is this image and inscription?
21 Bhakan'jibu, “fya Kaisari.” Ndipo Yesu akabhajobhela, “Mumpelayi Kaisari fenu fyafijhele fya muene ni fya K'yara mumpelayi K'yara.”
They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Therefore, render the things of Caesar to Caesar, and the things of God to God.
22 Bho bhap'heliki naha bhakashangala. Kisha bhakandeka ni kwilotela.
And when they heard it, they marveled. And having left him, they departed.
23 Ligono elu baadhi jha Masadukayo bhakahida kwa Yesu, bhala bhabhijobha kujha bhujhelepi bhufufuo bhwa bhafu. Bhakan'kota,
On that day Sadducees came to him, those who claim to be no resurrection. And they questioned him, saying,
24 bhakajhabhijobha, “Mwalimu, Musa ajobhili, Ikajhiyi munu afuili bila kuhogola bhana, ndongo munu na andisiayi n'dala ojhu na ampelayi muana kwa ndabha jha ndongo munu.
Teacher, Moses said, If some man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed to his brother.
Akandekela n'dala ndongomunu.
Now there were with us seven brothers. And the first having married perished. And having no seed left his wife to his brother.
26 Kisha ndongomunu ghwa pili nu muene aketili mebhu, kisha yola ghwa tatu, ikajha mebhu hadi jhola ghwa saba.
Likewise also the second, and the third, until the seventh.
27 Baada jha kubhomba aghu bhoha, yola n'dala nu muene akafwa.
And last of all, the woman also died.
28 Henu katika bhufufuo n'dala ojhu ibetakujha n'dala ghwa niani kati jha bhanu abhu saba? Kwa ndabha bhoha bhan'gegili.”
In the resurrection therefore, which of the seven will she be wife? For they all had her.
But having answered, Jesus said to them, Ye are led astray, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 Kwa kujha mu bhufufuo, bhanu bhigega lepi bhwala kugegikibhwa. Badala jhiaki bhanu bhijha kama malaika okhu kumbinguni.
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as agents of God in heaven.
31 Lakini kuhusu bhufufuo bhwa bhafu, mubhwayi lepi kusoma khela ambakyo K'yara akijobhili kwa muenga, ajobhili,
But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,
32 Nene ndo K'yara ghwa Ibrahimu, K'yara ghwa Isaka, na K'yara ghwa Yakobo? K'yara si K'yara ghwa bhafu, bali ni K'yara ghwa bhajhe bhasima.'”
I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not God of the dead, but of the living.
33 Bhwakati likusanyiku bho bhapeliki ele, bhaghasyangele mafundiso agha muene.
And when the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his doctrine.
But the Pharisees, having heard that he silenced the Sadducees, they came together in the same place.
35 Mmonga ghwa bhene, ajhele mwana sheria, an'kotili liswali kwa kun'jaribu.
And one of them, a lawyer, questioned, trying him, and saying,
36 “Mwalimu, amri jheleku ijhele mbaha kuliko syoha mu sheria?”
Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?
And Jesus said to him, Thou shall love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind.
38 Ejhe ndo amri mbaha na jha kuanza.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like it, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
41 Ni Mafarisayo bhajhele bhakona bhakusanyiki pamonga, Yesu akabhakota liswali.
Now the Pharisees having been gathered together, Jesus interrogated them, saying,
42 Akajobha, “Je, Mwifikirila kiki kwa ndabha jha Kristu? Muene muana ghwa niani?” Nibhene bhakan'jibu, “Ni muana ghwa Daudi.”
What does it seem to you about the Christ? Whose son is he? They say to him, Of David.
43 Yesu akabhajibu, “Ni kwa namna gani Daudi mu Roho akan'kuta Bwana, akajobha,
He says to them, How then does David in Spirit call him Lord, saying,
44 'Bwana an'jobhili Bwana bhangu, “Tamayi kibhokho kya nene kyakulia, hadi panibetakubhabhomba maadui bhakhu bhabhekibhuayi pasi pa magolo gha jhobhi.”'?”
The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand until I place thine enemies a footstool of thy feet?
45 Kama Daudi akan'kuta Kristu “Bwana,” jinsi jhelekhu ibetakujha mwanamunu?”
If David therefore calls him Lord, how is he his son?
And no man was able to answer him a word, nor did any man from that day dare to question him any more.
