< Yohana 9 >

1 Wakati, kama Yesu bho ip'eta, ambwene munu kipofu kuhomela kuhogoleka kwa muene.
And as he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.
2 Bhanafunzi bha muene bhakan'kota, “Rabi, niani jha abhombi dhambi, munu ojho au bhazazi bha muene, hata ahogolikayi kipofu?”
And his disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"
3 Yesu akabhajibu, “Siyo munu ojho wala bhazazi bha muene bhabhabhombi dhambi, bali mbombo sya K'yara sibhwesiajhi kufunulibhwa kup'etela kwa muene.
Jesus answered, "Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but, that the works of God might be revealed in him.
4 Twilondeka kubhomba mbombo sya muene muene jha anitumili wakati bado pamusi. Kiru kihida wakati ambapo ajhelepi jhaibetakubhwesya kubhomba mbombo.
We must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work.
5 Wakati nje ku bhulimwengu, nene ne nuru jha ulimwengu.”
While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
6 Baada jha Yesu kujobha malobhi agha afunyili palifu, abhombi bhudopi kwa mata ni kumbaka munu jhola pamihu ni bhud'opi bhola.
When he had said this, he spat on the ground, made mud with the saliva, anointed the blind man's eyes with the mud,
7 Akan'jobhela, lotayi kujhogha mu kisima kya Siloam (Jhajhitafsiribhwa kama 'jhaatumibhu').” Henu munu ojhu alotili, akasamba, ni kukerebhuka, ilola.
and said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which means "Sent"). So he went away, washed, and came back seeing.
8 Majirani bha munu jhola ni bhala bhabhambwene kubhwandelu kama n'somaji bhajobhili, Je! ojho si jhola jhaatamaghe ni kus'oma?” bhangi bhakajobha,
The neighbors therefore, and those who saw that he was a beggar before, said, "Is this not the one who used to sit and beg?"
9 “Lepi, bali iwaningana naku.” Lakini akajha ijobha, “Ndo nene.”
Some said, "It is he." Others said, "He looks like him." He said, "I am he."
10 Bhakan'jobhela, “Henu mihu gha jhobhi ghafungulibhu bhuli?”
They therefore were asking him, "How were your eyes opened?"
11 Ajibili, munu jhaikutibhwa Yesu, abhombili bhudopi ni kubaka pa mihu ghangu ni kunijobhela, 'Nilotayi Siloam ukasambayi.' Henu nikalota, ni kusamba, na nikajhanilola kabhele.”
He answered, "A man called Jesus made mud, anointed my eyes, and said to me, 'Go to Siloam, and wash.' So I went away and washed, and I received sight."
12 Bhakan'jobhela, “Ajhendaku?” Ajibili, “Ndesi.”
Then they asked him, "Where is he?" He said, "I do not know."
13 Bhakampeleka munu jhola jha ajhele kipofu kwa Mafarisayo.
They brought him who had been blind to the Pharisees.
14 Nijhiene jha ajhele ligono lya Sabato wakati Yesu bho atendekisi bhodopi ni kughafumbula mihu gha muene.
Now it was a Sabbath on the day when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.
15 Ndipo kabhele Mafarisayo bhakan'kota abhwesibhuli kulola. Akabhajobhela, “Abhekili bhudopi mu mihu ghangu nikasamba na henu nibhwesya kulola.”
Again therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received his sight. He said to them, "He put mud on my eyes, I washed, and I see."
Some therefore of the Pharisees said, "This man is not from God, because he does not keep the Sabbath." Others said, "How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?" There was division among them.
17 Ndipo bhan'kotili jhola kipofu kabhele, “Ghwijobhuli juu jha muene kwandabha aghafunguili mihu gha jhobhi?” Kipofu akajobha, “Nabii.”
Therefore they asked the blind man again, "What do you say about him, because he opened your eyes?" He said, "He is a prophet."
18 Hata wakati obhu bhayahudi bhan'kyeriri lepi kujha ajhele kipofu ni muene ibhwesya kulola mpaka bhakabhakuta bhazazi bha muene jha abhwesi kulola.
The Jewish leaders therefore did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and had received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight,
19 Bhakabhakota bhazazi, Je, ojho mwanabhinu jha mwijobha ahogoliki kipofu? abhwesibhuli henu kulola?”
and asked them, "Is this your son, who you say was born blind? How then does he now see?"
20 Hivyo bhazazi bha muene bhakan'jibu, “Tumanyili kujha ahogoliki kipofu.
His parents answered them, "We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind;
21 Jinsi gani henu ilola, tumanyi lepi ni muene jha amfumbuili mihu gha muene, tumanyililepi. Mun'kotayi muene. Nyuluala. Ibhwesya kwijhe lesya muene.”
but how he now sees, we do not know; or who opened his eyes, we do not know. He is of age. Ask him. He will speak for himself."
22 Bhazazi bha muene bhajobhili mambo agha, kwa ndabha bhabhatilili Bhayahudi. Kwa vile Bhayahudi bhajhele bha kubaliene tayari kujha, ikajhiayi jhejhioha ibetakukiri kujha Yesu ndo Kristu, ibetakutengibhwa ni Sinagogi.
His parents said these things because they feared the Jewish leaders; for the Jewish leaders had already agreed that if anyone would confess him as the Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.
23 Kwa ndabha ejhe, bhazazi bha muene bhakajobha, “Munu nnyuluala, munkotayi muene.”
Therefore his parents said, "He is of age. Ask him."
24 Henu kwa mara jha pili, bhakankuta munu jhola jha ajhele kipofu ni kun'jobhela, Mpelayi K'yara bhutukufu. Tumanyili munu ojho ajhe ni dhambi.”
So they called the man who was blind a second time, and said to him, "Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner."
25 Ndipo munu jhola akajibu, “Ajhelayi ni dhambi, nenimanyilepi. Khenu kimonga kya nikimanyili: najhele kipofu, ni henu nilola.”
He therefore answered, "I do not know if he is a sinner. One thing I do know: that though I was blind, now I see."
26 Ndipo bhakan'jobhela, “Akubhombili kiki? Aghafumbuili bhuli mihu gha jhobhi?”
They said to him, "What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?"
27 Ajibili, “Nimalikubhajobhela tayari, ni muenga mup'elekisilepi! kwa ndajhakiki mwilonda kup'eleka kabhele? namu mwilonda lepi kujha bhanafunzi bha muene pia, sivyo?
He answered them, "I told you already, and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? You do not also want to become his disciples, do you?"
28 Bhandighili ni kujobha, “Bhebhe ghwe mwanafunzi ghwa muene, lakini tete bhanafunzi bha Musa.
They insulted him and said, "You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.
29 Tumanyili kujha K'yara alongili ni Mussa, lakini kwa munu ojho, tumanyili lepi kwa ihomela.”
We know that God has spoken to Moses. But as for this man, we do not know where he comes from."
30 Munu jhola akajibu ni kubhajobhela, “Kwa ndabha jha kiki, ele lijambo lya kusyangasya, kwamba mumanyilepi kwaihomela, na bado aghafumbuili mihu ghangu.
The man answered them, "How amazing. You do not know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes.
31 Tumanyili kujha K'yara akabhap'elekesya lepi bhenye dhambi, lakini ikajhiajhi munu jhejhioha ikamwabudu K'yara na ibhomba mapenzi gha muene, K'yara akamp'elekesya.
We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshipper of God, and does his will, he listens to him.
32 Kuh'omela kujhanda kwa ulimwengu jhibhwayilepi kamwe kupelekibhwa kujha jhejhioha jhaifumbula mihu gha munu jha ahogoliki kipofu. (aiōn g165)
Since the world began it has never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of someone born blind. (aiōn g165)
33 Ikajhiayi munu ojho ahomilepi kwa K'yara, ngaabhombilepi kyokyoha.”
If this man were not from God, he could do nothing."
34 Bhajibili ni kun'jobhela, “Ghwahogoliki ni dhambi kabisa, ni bhebhe ukatumanyisya tete?” Ndipo bhamb'engili mu sinagogi.
They answered him, "You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us?" They threw him out.
35 Yesu ap'eliki kujha bhabhosili mu sinagogi. Akan'kabhili ni kun'jobhela, “Ukan'kiera Muana ghwa Munu?”
Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and finding him, he said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?"
36 Ajibili ni kujobha, “Niani, Bwana, ili nani nikabhayi kun'kiera?”
He answered, "Who is he, Lord, that I may believe in him?"
37 Yesu akabhajobhela, “Umbwene, nu ndo jha ilongela naku.”
Jesus said to him, "You have both seen him, and it is he who speaks with you."
38 Jhola munu akajobha, “Bwana, Nikiera.” Ndipo akan'sujudila.
He said, "Lord, I believe." and he worshiped him.
39 Yesu akajobha, “Kwa hukumu nihidili mu ulimwengu obho ili kwamba bhala bhabhilola lepi bhabhwesiajhi kulola ni bhala bha bhibhona bhajhelayi fipofu,”
Jesus said, "I came into this world for judgment, that those who do not see may see; and that those who see may become blind."
40 Baadhi jha Mafarisayo bhajhele pamonga ni muene bhakapeleka malobhi aghu ni kun'kota, “Nitete fipofu?”
Those of the Pharisees who were with him heard these things, and said to him, "Are we also blind?"
41 Yesu akabhajobhela, “Kama ngamujhele fipofu, ngamujhelepi ni dhambi. Hata naha, henu mwijobha, 'Mwilola,' dhambi jha muenga jhitama.”
Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but since you say, 'We see,' your sin remains.
