Yohana 17
1 Yesu aghajobhili mambo agha; kisha akajhinula mihu gha muene kulotela kumbinguni ni kujobha, “Dadi saa jhiwadili; n'tukusijhi mwanabhu ili ni muana ni muene akutukusiajhi bhebhe -
After saying these things, Jesus lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify yoʋr Son so that yoʋr Son may also glorify yoʋ,
2 kama vile kyaghwampelili mamlaka juu jha fyoha fya fijhe ni mb'ele ili abhapelayi uzima bhwa milele bhala bhoha bha wampelili. (aiōnios g166)
just as yoʋ have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to everyone yoʋ have given him. (aiōnios g166)
3 Obhu ndo uzima bhwa milele: kujha bhakumanyayi bhebhe, K'yara ghwa bhukweli ni ghwa pamisa, ni muene jhaandaghisi Yesu Kristu. (aiōnios g166)
This is eternal life, that they may know yoʋ, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom yoʋ have sent. (aiōnios g166)
4 Nakutukusili hapa duniani, ni kujhikamilisya mbombo jha wanipelili kujhibhomba.
I have glorified yoʋ on earth. I have completed the work yoʋ have given me to do.
5 Henu, Dadi, unitukusiajhi nene pamonga ni bhebhe kwa bhutukufu bhola bhwa najhenabhu pamonga ni bhebeh kabla jha ulimwengu kubhombibhwa.
And now, Father, glorify me in yoʋr presence with the glory I had with yoʋ before the world existed.
6 Nalifunuili lihina lya bhebhe kwa bhanu lya wanipelili hapa pa duniani. Bhajhele bhanu bha jhobhi; lakini ghwanikabidhi nene. na bhene bhalikamuili lilobhi lya jhobhi.
“I have revealed yoʋr name to the people yoʋ have given me out of the world. They were yoʋrs; yoʋ gave them to me, and they have kept yoʋr word.
7 Henu bhamanyili kujha khila khenu kya unipelili nene kihomela kwa bhebhe,
They now know that everything yoʋ have given me is from yoʋ.
8 kwa malobhi ghala ghawanipelili nene— Nimalikubhapela bhene malobhi aghu. Bhaghapokili ni kweli bhamanyili jha kujha bhebhe ndo jha unilaghisi.
For I have given them the words that yoʋ gave me, and they have received them and truly know that I came from yoʋ. They have also come to believe that yoʋ sent me.
9 Nikabhas'omela bhene. Nikabhusomela lepi ulimwengu bali bhala bha unipelili kwa kujha bhene bha jhobhi.
I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those yoʋ have given me, for they are yoʋrs.
10 Fenu fyoha ambafyo fya nene ndo fya jhobhi, ni fela fya ujhe nafu bhebhe fya nene; nani nitukusibhwa kwa e'lu.
All who are mine are also yoʋrs, and all who are yoʋrs are also mine, and I have been glorified in them.
11 Nene nijhelepi kabhele ulimwenguni, bali bhanu bhajhele ulimwenguni, nani henu nihida kwa bhebhe. Dadi Mtakatifu, bhatunzayi kwa lihina lya jhobhi lela lya wanipelili tete, ili nabhene bhajhelayi ni umoja, kama vile nene ni bhebhe kyatujhele ni umoja.
I will no longer remain in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to yoʋ. Holy Father, keep them in yoʋr name, which yoʋ have given me, so that they may be one, just as we are one.
12 Bho nijhe nabhu, nabhalendili kwa lihina lya wanipelili, nabhalendili na ajhelepi hata mmonga ghwa bhene jha ajhaghili isipokujha mwana upotevu, ili kwamba maandiku ghatimilayi.
While I was with them in the world, I kept them safe by the power of yoʋr name. I have guarded those yoʋ have given me, and not one of them has perished except the son of destruction, so that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
13 Henu nihida kwa bhebhe; lakini nijobha agha ulimwenguni ili kwamba furaha jha nene ikamulisibhwayi mugati mwa bhene.
But now I am coming to yoʋ, and I speak these things in the world so that they may have my joy made full within them.
14 Nibhapelili lilobhi lya bhebhe; ulimwengu ubhadadili kwandabha bhenye bha ulimwenguni ubhadadili kwandabha bhene bha ulimwengu lepi, kama vile nene kyanijhelepi ghwa ulimwengu
I have given them yoʋr word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
15 Nikabhaombela lepi kujha ubhabhosiajhi ku ulimwengu bali ubhalendayi ni jhola mwovu.
I do not ask yoʋ to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one.
16 Bhene sio bha dunia kama vile nene kyanibelikujha ghwa ulimwengu.
They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
17 Ubhabhekayi bhakfu kwa jhobhi ghwa muene mu bhukweli; lilobhi lya jhobhi ndo bhukweli.
Sanctify them by yoʋr truth; yoʋr word is truth.
18 Wanilaghisi ku ulimwengu, nani nibhalaghisi ku ulimwengu.
Just as yoʋ have sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.
19 Kwa ndabha jha bhene nene ne muene nikipisya kwa bhebhe ili kwamba ni bhene bhakipisyayi kwa bhebhe ku bhukweli.
For their sakes I sanctify myself, so that they too may be sanctified by the truth.
20 Sio abha tu bhanikabhas'okela, bali ni bhala bhabhibeta kukiera kup'etela lilobhi lya bhene
“I do not ask on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in me through their word,
21 ili kwamba nabhene bhajhelayi ni umoja, kama vile bhebhe Dadi, ujhe mugati mwa nene nani mugati mwa bhebhe. Nikabhasokela ili kwamba bhene pia bhajhelayi mugati mwa tete ili ulimwengu ubhwesujhi kukiera kujha bhebhe ndiye jha unilaghisi.
that they may all be one, just as yoʋ, Father, are in me, and I am in yoʋ, that they also may be one in us, so that the world may believe that yoʋ sent me.
22 Utukufu bhola bhwa unipelili nene - nibhapelili bhene, ili kwamba bhabhwesiayi kujha ni umoja kama vile tete kyatujha ni umoja
I have given them the glory that yoʋ gave me, so that they may be one, just as we are one,
23 -Nene mugati mwa bhene, nabhi mugati mwa nene, ili bhabhwesijhi kukamilisibhwa mu umoja; ili ulimwengu umanyayi kujha hakika bhebhe ndiye jha unitumili, ni kubhagana, kama vile bhebhe kyauniganili, nene.
I in them and yoʋ in me, so that they may be perfected into one, and so that the world may know that yoʋ have sent me and have loved them just as yoʋ have loved me.
24 Dadi khela kya unipelili nene - Ninoghela kujha bhene pia bhabhwesiajhi kujha pamonga nani mahali pa nijhele ili bhabhwesiayi kulola utukufu bhwa nene, bhola unipelili: kwa kujha bhebhe ghwaniganili nene kabla jha kubhomb'eka kwa misingi jha ulimwengu.
Father, I want those yoʋ have given me to be with me where I am, so that they may see my glory, which yoʋ gave me because yoʋ loved me before the foundation of the world.
25 Dadi jha ujhe ni haki, ulimwengu bhwakumanyilepi bhebhe, lakini nene nikumanyili bhebhe; na bhamanyili kujhe ghwanilaghisi.
Righteous Father, though the world does not know yoʋ, I know yoʋ, and these men know that yoʋ have sent me.
26 Nalibhombili lihina lya bhebhe limanyikinayi kwa bhene, na nibetakulibhomba limanyikinayi ili kwamba l'ela lipendo ambalyo kwa jhobhi ghwaniganili nene libhweajhi kujha mugati mwa bhene, ni nene nibhwesiajhi kujha mugayi mwa bhene.”
I have made yoʋr name known to them, and will continue to make it known, so that the love with which yoʋ have loved me may be in them, and so that I may be in them.”
