1 Henu lijambo lya twijobha ndo e'le: tujhe ni kuhani mbaha jhaatamili pasi mu kibhoko kya kulia bhwa kiti kya enzi Kumbinguni.
Now of the things which we have spoken [this is] the sum: We have such a high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
2 Muene ndo n'tumishi mu mahali patakatifu, lihema lya bhukweli ambalyo Bwana alibhekhili, sio munu jhejhioha ghwa kufwa.
A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
3 Kwa ndabha khila kuhani mbaha ibhekibhwa kuhomesya zawadi kwa dhabihu; kwa e'lu ni muhimu kujha ni khenu kya kuhomesya.
For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore [it is] of necessity that this man should have somewhat also to offer.
4 Henu kama Kristu ajhele panani pa nchi, muene ngaajhelepi kuhani zaidi jha apu. Kwa kujha tayari bhala bhabhahomisi fipawa kulengana ni sheria.
For if he were on earth, he would not be a priest, seeing there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
5 Bhahudumili khila ambakyo kyajhele nakala ni kivuli kya fenu fya kumbinguni, sabhwa kama Musa bho aonyibhu ni LK'yara bho ilonda kujenga lihema. “Langayi,” K'yaar akajobha, “kwamba tengenesiajhi khila khenu kul'engana ni muundo bhwa ulasibhu panani pa kidonda”.
Who serve to the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished by God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See (saith he) [that] thou make all things according to the pattern shown to thee in the mount.
6 Lakini henu Kristu ajhamb'el'eli huduma jhinofu nesu kwandabha muene kabhele ndo mpatanishi bhwa liagano linofu, ambalyo limalikuimarisibhwa kwa ahadi jhinofu.
But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
7 Hivyo kama liagano lya kubhwandelu ngalibelikujha ni makosa, ndipo ngajhijhelepi haja jha kulonda liagano lya bhubhele.
For if that first [covenant] had been faultless, then would no place have been sought for the second.
8 Kwa kujha wakati K'yara aghamanyili makosa kwa bhanu akajobha, “Langayi, magono ghihida, ijobha Bwana, wakati panibeta kutengenesya agano lipya, pamonga ni nyumba jha Israeli, ni nyumba jha Yuda.
For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Libetalepi kujha kama agano lyanabhombili ni bha dadijhabhi ligono ambalyo nabhatolili kwa kibhoko kubhalongosya kuhoma nchi jha Misri. Kwa kujha bhajhendelili lepi mu liagano lya nene, ni nene nabhajali lepi kabhele, 'ijobha Bwana.
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers, in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 Kwa kujha e'lu ndo liagano nibetakubhomba mu nyumba jha Israeli baada jha magono aghu,' ijobha Bwana. 'nibetakubheka sheria sya jhoni mu mabhuasu gha bhene, na nibetakusilemba mu mioyo ghya bhene. Nibetakujha K'yara ghwa bhene, na bhene bhibetakujha bhanu bha nene.
For this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 Bhibetalepi kumanyisana khila mkonga ni jirani ghwa muene, ni khila mmonga ni ndongomunu, ni kujobha, “Ummanyayi Bwana,” naha bhoha bhibetakunimanya nene, kuhoma n'debe mpaka mbaha ghwa bhene.
And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 Nahu nibetakulasya rehema kwa matendo gha bhene ghaghabelikujha gha haki, na nibetalepi kusikhomboka dhambi sya bhene kabhele.”
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13 Kwa kujobha “Mpya,” alibhombili liagano lya kuanza kujha lilala. Ni e'lu ambalyo alitangasili kujha lilala lijhele tayari kuhoka.
In that he saith, A new [covenant], he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and groweth old [is] ready to vanish away.
