2 Timotheo 2
1 Henu, bhebhe mwanabhangu, upelibhwayi nghofu mu neema jha jhijhele mugati mwa Yesu Kristu.
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2 Ni mambo gha ughap'eliki kwa nene miongoni mwa mashahidi bhamehele, ughakabisiajhi kwa bhanu bhaaminifu ambabho bhibhwesya kubhafundisya bhamana kabhele.
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
3 malombosi pamonga ni nene, kama askari mwema ghwa Kristu Yesu.
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 Ajhelepi askari jhaitumikila wakati bhobhuobhu ikwishughulisya ni mbombo sya kawaida sya maisha agha, ili kwamba ampendesiajhi ofisa ghwa muene mbaha.
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of [this] life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
5 Kabhele kama munu isindana kwa n'jumba lubhelu, ibetalepikupelibhwa litaji kama ibetakusindana kwa kukesya kanuni.
And if a man also strive for masteries, [yet] is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
6 Ndo muhimu kujha n'kulima jha ajhe ni bidii ajhiaghe ghwa kuanza kukabha mgao bhwa mazao gha muene.
The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
7 Ukinong'oniajhi kya nikujobhili, kwandabha Bwana ibetakupela bhuelebhwa mu mambo ghoha.
Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
8 Mun'kombhokayi Yesu Kristu kuhoma uzao bhwa Daudi, ambajhe afumulibhu kuhoma kwa bhafu. Ejhe ndo kul'engana ni bhujumbe bhuangu bhwa injili,
Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
9 ambabho kwa ndabha jha obhu nitesibhwa hata kukhongibhwa minyororo kama mharifu. Lakini lilobhi lya K'yara likongibhwa lepi kwa minyororo.
Where in I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, [even] unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
10 Henu, nisindamale mambo ghoha agha kwandabha jha bhala ambabho K'yara abhasalili tayari, ili kwamba nabhene bhaukabhayi bhwokovu bhwabhujhele kwa Kristu Yesu pamonga ni bhutukufu bhwa milele. (aiōnios g166)
Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. (aiōnios g166)
11 Bhujobhi obho ndo bhwa kuaminika: “Ikajhiajhi tufuili pamonga ni muene, tubetakutama pamonga ni muene kabhele,
[It is] a faithful saying: For if we be dead with [him], we shall also live with [him]:
12 kama tusindamele, twibetakutabhwala pamonga ni muene kabhele, kama twibetakumbela muene, ni muene kabhele ibetakutubela tete.
If we suffer, we shall also reign with [him]: if we deny [him], he also will deny us:
13 kama twibetalepi kujha bhaaminifu, muene ibetakujha muaminifu, ndabha ibhwesya lepi kwibela muene.”
If we believe not, [yet] he abideth faithful: he can not deny himself.
14 Jhendelelajhi kubhakhombosya panani pa matendo agha. Bhaonyayi palongolo pa K'yara bhalekayi kubishana kuhusu malobhi. Kwandabha ghajhelepi manufaa kulijambo e'le. Kutokana ni e'le bhujhele bhuharibifu mbaha nesu kwa bhala bhabhipelekesya.
Of these things put [them] in remembrance, charging [them] before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, [but] to the subverting of the hearers.
15 Bhombajhi bidii kulasya kujha bhakujhedekili kwa K'yara kama mbomba mbombo jhaadulili sababu jha kulaumibhwa. Mulitumilajhi lilobhi lya bhukweli kwa usahihi.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 Mukijhepusiajhi ni majadilianu gha kidunia, ambagho ghilongosya kwa zaidi ni zaidi jha uasi.
But shun profane [and] vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
17 Majadiliano gha bhene ghibetakusambala kama donda ndugu. Miongoni mwa bhene ndo Himenayo ni Fileto.
And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
18 Abha ndo bhanu bhabhaudulili bhukweli. Bhijobha kujha bhufufuo tayari bhumali kuhoma. Bhip'endula imani jha baadhi jha bhanu.
Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
19 Hata naha, misingi imara jha K'yara jhijhema, bhabhajhe ni bhuandishi obho, “Bwana abhamanyili bhabhajhele bha muene, ni khila jha alitajeghe lihina lya Bwana ndo lazima akitengaghe ni bhudhalimu.”
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 Munyumba jha kitajiri, sio kujha fijhele fenu fya dhahabu ni shaba tu. Kabhele fijhele fenu fya mab'eh'e ni bhudopi. Baadhi jha efe ndo kwa ndabha jha matumizi gha heshima ni baadhi jhiake ndo kwa matumizi ghaghabelikujha gha litengu.
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 Ikajhelayi munu ibetakwitakasya muene kuhoma mu matumizi ghaghabeli kujha gha heshima, muene ndo khenu kya kilondeka kutengulibhwa. Atengibhu maalumu, jhaajheni manufaa kwa Bwana, na aandalibhu kwa khila lihengu linofu.
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, [and] prepared unto every good work.
22 Musikhembelayi tamaa sya bhusongolo. Ukakesiajhi haki, imani, luganu, ni amani pamonga ni bhala bhabhakan'kuta Bwana kwa muoyo bhunofu.
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
23 Lakini ubelayi bhupumbafu ni maswala gha kipuuzi. Kwani umanyili jha kujha wihogola ngondo.
But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
24 M'tumishi ghwa Bwana ilondeka lepi kukomana, badala jhiake ilondeka kujha mololo kwa bhanu bhoha, jhaibhwesya kumanyisya, ni jhaisindamala.
And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all [men], apt to teach, patient,
25 Na lazima abhaelimisiajhi kwa bhololo bhala bhabhakamp'enga yamkini K'yara abhwesiajhi kubhap'ela toba kwa kujhimanya kweli.
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 Bhabhwesiajhi kukabha ufahamu kabhele ni kujhepuka n'teghu ghwa syetani, baada jha kujha bhatekibhu ni muene kwa ndabha jha mapenzi gha muene.
And [that] they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
