2 Timotheo 1
1 Paulo n'tume ghwa Yesu Kristu kwa mapenzi gha K'yara, sabhwa ni ahadi sya uzima bhwabhujhele mugati mwa Kristu Yesu,
Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life in Christ Jesus,
2 kwa Timotheo mwana n'ganwa: Neema, rehema ni amani kuhoma kwa K'yara Dadi jhitu ni Kristu Yesu Bwana bhitu.
to Timothy my beloved son, grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father, and from Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 Nikan'shukuru K'yara, ambajhe nikan'tumikila kwa nia jhinofu kama kyabhabhombili bhadadi jhangu, panikhomboka daima mu maombi ghangu. Kiru ni
I give thanks to God, whom I serve as my forefathers did, with a pure conscience, having remembrance of thee continually in my prayers night and day;

greatly desiring to see thee, (for I remember thy tears, ) that I may be filled with joy:
5 Nikajha nikhombosibhwa kuhusu imani jha jhobhi halisi, ambajho apu kwanza jhatamili kwa mbuyuakhu Loisi ni nyinuakhu Yunisi. Na nijhe ni hakika kujha imani ejhu jhitama mugati mwa bhebhe kabhele.
keeping in memory the unfeigned faith, that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice: and I am persuaded that it dwells in thee also;
6 Ejhe ndo sababu nikukhomb'osya kujhingesya karama jha K'yara jhajhijhele mugati mwa bhebhe kwa nj'ela jha kubhekibhwa mabhoko gha nene.
for which cause I remind thee to stir up the gift of God which is in thee through the imposition of my hands.
7 Kwa kujha K'yara atupelili lepi roho jha bhuogha bali jha nghofu ni litengo.
For God hath not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but of vigor, and of love, and of prudence.
8 Henu usibhubhoneli agha bhushuhuda kuhusu Bwana bhitu, bhwala bhwa nene Paulo mfungwa ghwa muene. Bali ushirikiajhi malombosi kwandabha jha injili sabhwa ni bhuweza bhwa K'yara.
Be not therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but bear thy part in the afflictions of the gospel, according to the power of God;
9 Ndo K'yara jhaatuokwili ni kutukuta kwa bhwito bhutakatifu. Abhombilepi naha kulengana ni mahengu gha tete bali kulengana ni neema ni mpango bhwa muene. Atupelili mambo agha kwa Kristu Yesu kabla jha nyakati kubhuanja. (aiōnios g166)
who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose, and grace bestowed upon us through Christ Jesus, before the world was, (aiōnios g166)
10 Lakini henu bhwokovu bhwa K'yara ufunulibhu kwa kuhida kwa mwokozi ghitu Yesu Kristu. Ndo Kristu jha aghakomisi mauti ni kuleta bhusima bhwabhubeli kukoma kwa nuru jha injili.
but now made manifest by the appearance of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light by the gospel: for which I was appointed an herald,
11 Kwa ndabha ejhu nachagulibhu kujha muhubiri, mtume ni mwalimu.
and an apostle, and a teacher of the gentiles:
12 Kwandabha ejhe niteseka kabhele, lakini nibhonalepi soni kwandabha nimmanyili muene jhanimalikun'kiera. Nijhe ni bhuhakika kujha muene ibhwesya kukitunza khela kyanikikabidhi kwa muene hata ligono lela.
for which cause also I suffer these things; but I am not ashamed: for I know in whom I have trusted, and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him against that day.
13 Ukombokajhi mfanu bhwa ujumbe bhwa uaminifu bhwauupeliki kuhomela kwa nene, pamonga ni imani ni upendo bhwabhujhele mugati mwa Kristu Yesu.
Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard from me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
14 Ghatunzajhi mambo manofu ghaakukabisi K'yara kup'etela Roho Mtakatifu jhaitama mugati mwa tete.
The good thing committed to thee keep, through the Holy Spirit which dwelleth in us.
15 Umanyili kujha bhabhatama Asia bhanilekhili. Mulikundi e'le bhajhele Figelo ni Hemogene.
Thou knowest that all those of Asia are turned from me, of whom is Phygellus and Hermogenes.
16 Bwana airehemuajhi nyumba jha Onesiforo kwa kujha mara nyimehele aniburudisi na ajhibhonili lepi soni minyororo ghya nene.
The Lord shew mercy to the family of Onesiphorus; for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain: but when he was at Rome,
17 Badala jhiake, bho ajhe Roma anilondili kwa bidii nesu ni kunikabha.
he sought for me the more diligently, and found me.
18 K'yara an'tangatilayi kukabha rehema kuhoma kwa muene ligono lela. Kama kyaanitangatili bhonijhele Efeso, bhebhe umanyili kinofu.
(The Lord grant that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day!) And how much he ministered to me at Ephesus too, thou knowest full well.
