2 Petro 1
1 Simon petro, N'tumwa na Mtume ghwa Yesu Kristu, Kwa bhala bhabhajijhambelili imani j'helaj'hela j'ha thamani kama kyatuj'hi j'hambelili tete, imani j'haijhele j'ha ij'hele mugati mu haki j'ha k'yara ni mwokozi ghwitu Yesu Kristu.
Symeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of our God, and the Saviour Jesus Christ:
2 Neema ijhiaghe kwa jhomu; amani j'hij'hongesikabaghe kup'hetela maarifa gha k'yara ni Bwana bhitu Yesu
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.
3 Kup'hetela maarifa gha k'yara tukabhili mambo ghake ghoha kwandabha j'ha uchaji bhwa maisha, kuh'omela kwa k'yara j'heatukutilisha, kwandabha j'ha bhunofu bhwa bhutukufu bhwake.
Seeing that his Divine power hath given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness;
4 Kwa nj'hela ej'he atutumainisili ahadi kuu sya thamani. Abhombi naha ili kutubhomba bharithi bha asili j'ha k'yara, kwa kadri kyatwi j'hendilela kubhuleka bhuovu bhwa dunia ej'he.
through which he hath given us exceedingly great and precious promises, that by these ye may become partakers of the Divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world through lust;
5 Kwa ndabha ej'he mubhombaghe bidii kujhongesya bhunofu kwa nj'ela j'ha imani j'hinu, kwandabha j'ha bhunofu, maarifa.
even for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, and to virtue knowledge,
6 Kup'hetela maarifa, kiasi, ni kup'hetela kiasi saburi, bhwibeta kukhoma.
and to knowledge self-control, and to self-control endurance, and to endurance godliness,
7 Kup'hetela bhutaua luganu lwa ndongobhu ni kup'hetela lugano lwa ndongobhu, luganu.
and to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
8 Kama mambo agha ghaj'hele mugati mwinu, kyaghij'hendelela kukhola mugati mwinu, basi muenga mwibeta lepi kuj'ha tasa au bhanu mwa mwihogola lepi matunda mu maarifa gha Bwana Yesu Kristu.
For if these things are in you and abound, they make you neither inactive nor unfruitful in gaining the full knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 Lakini j'hej'hoha j'haabeli kuj'ha ni mambo agha akaghabhona mambo gha karibu tu; muene kipofu. ajhebhelili bhutakaso bhwa dhambi sya muandi
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
10 bhalongo bhangu, m'mbombaghe juhudi ili kwihakikishia bhuteule ni bhwito kwandabha j'hinu. Kama m'mbeta kubhomba agha m'betalei kwikungufula.
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure; for if ye do these things, ye will never fall.
11 m'beta kwikabhila bhwingi bhwa lango lya kuj'hingilila mu mufalme bhwa milele bhwa Bwana ghwitu ni mwokozi Yesu Kristu (aiōnios g166)
For in this way the entrance will be richly furnished you into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
12 nene nibetakuj'ha tayari kubhakhombosya mambo agha kila mara, hata kama mughamanyili ni henu muj'hele imara mu bhukweli.
Wherefore I shall be careful always to remind you of these things, though ye know them, and are established in the truth that is with you.
13 kuj'ha njele kinofu kubhasisimula ni kubhakhombosya juu j'ha mambo agha, ningali j'hele mu lihema e'le.
Yea, I think it right, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by reminding you;
14 maana nimanyili kuj'ha si mda mrefu nibhoke nikajhibhosya hema j'hangu, kama Bwana Yesu Kristu kyaandasisye.
knowing that I must soon put off my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ declared to me.
15 kwitanga kwa bidii kwa ndabha j'hinu ili mkhombokaj'hi mambo agha baada j'ha nene kubhoka.
Moreover I shall endeavor that at all times ye may be able, after my departure, to call these things to mind.
16 tete twafwatiti lepi hadithi syasij'hingisibhu kwa ustadi pala patwabhabholili juu j'ha ngofu ni kukidhihirisha kwa Bwana bhwitu Yesu Kristu, bali tete twaj'hele mashahidi bha bhutukufu bhwake.
For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but had been made eye-witnesses of his majesty.
17 aj'hamb'elili bhutukufu ni litengo kuhoma kwa k'yara tata pale sauti bhoj'hip'helekiki kuhoma mu bhutukufu mbaha kyaj'hijobha, “Ojho ndo mwanabhangu, n'ganwa ghwangu ambaj'he nikyelili naku.
For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when such a voice as this was borne to him from the excellent glory: “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
18 sauti ej'he kuhomela kumbinguni pala bhotujhenakupa kid'onda kitakatifu.
And this voice we heard borne from heaven when we were with him in the holy mount.
19 e'le lilobhi lya bhunabii lyalithibitiki, ambalyo mwibhomba kinofu kulitekelesya. Ni kama taa kyaj'hing'ara mu ngisi mpaka kwibhalala ni matondo gha mawio kyasibhonekana mu mi'teema ghinu.
And we have more sure the prophetic word, to which ye do well in taking heed, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts;
20 Mumanyaghe agha j'he kuj'ha j'hij'helepi bhunabii bhwabhwij'handikibhwa kwa ndabha j'ha kujifikirisya kwa nabii muene.
knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture cometh from private interpretation.
21 kuj'ha bhuj'helepi bhunabii bhwabhuhidili kwa mapenzi gha mwanadamu, isipokuj'ha bhanadamu bhabhwezeshibhu ni Roho Mtakatifu j'haalongili kuh'omela kwa K'yara.
For prophecy never came by the will of man; but moved by the Holy Spirit, men spoke from God.
