1 Wathesalonike 1

1 Paulo, Silwano na Timotheo kwa likanisa la Bhathesalonike kup'etela K'yara Dadi ni Bwana Yesu Kristu. Neema ni imani iyelai ni muenga.

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timothy, to the church of the Thessalonians [which is] in God the Father, and [in] the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace [be] to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Tipisya shukrani kwa K'yara muda bhuoa kwajia ya yhomo mwabhoa, patukabhataja kup'etela maombi gha yhoto.

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;

3 Tukaikomboka bila kukoma palongolo pa K'yara na ni Dadi was yhoto wa mbhombho said yhomo sya imani, syajuhudi ya upendo, na uvumilifu wa uyele ni ukifu kwajia ya badaye kup'etela Bwana Yesu Kristu.

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

4 Ndhongo bhamganikibhu ni K'yara, tumanyili bhuito wa yhomo.

Knowing, brethren beloved by God, your election.

5 Na namna injili ya yhoto yayahidili kwa yhomo so kwajia ya lilobhi to, Bali kabh'ele kup'etela nghofo, kup'etela Roho N'takatifu, ni kup'etela uhakika wa namna eyu, mmanyili kabh'ele tetetayele tabha number bha namna pamiongoni mwayhomo kwajia ya yhomo.

For our gospel came not to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

6 wayele bhanu bhakutuyegha tete ni Bwana, kama kamwapokelai lilobhi kitabu ni kuhobhoka yayahomelai kwa Roho N'takatifu.

And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit:

7 Ni majibu ghake, mwayele mfwano kwa bhoa bha Makedonia na Akaya mubabho bhiamini.

So that ye were examples to all that believe, in Macedonia and Achaia.

8 Kwa ndabha kuh'omela kwa yhomo lilobhi la K'yara lienili kuoa, nitee kwa Makedonia na Akaiya bhabhene. Badala yaki, kwa Kila ndema imani ya yhomo kup'etela K'yara ienili kuoa. Na majibu ghake, yilondeka lepi kujibu kihoakela.

For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.

9 Kwa ndabha ya bhene bhiarifu ujio bhuitu wayele wa namna gani kati ya yhomo. Bhisimulila namna ya mwamgeukili K'yara kuhomela kulisanamo ni kumtumikila K'yara yaayele hai ni waukweli.

For they themselves show of us what manner of entrance we had to you, and how ye turned to God from idols, to serve the living and true God;

10 Bhabhapisili malobhi kujo mkandendela msuamu bhuaki kuhomela kumbinguni, yaafufulibhu kuhomela kuwafu. Na oyho ni Yesu, yakatubheka huru kuhomela mughadhabhu yayihida.

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, [even] Jesus, who delivered us from the wrath to come.
