1 Yohana 4

1 Bhaganwa, mkatayikuj'hikiela kila roho, lakini musijaribisiaghe roho Kama sihomela kwa kyara, kwandabha manabii bhingi bhadesi padunia.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

2 kwa e'le mbetakumanya roho ghwa K'yara-kila roho j'haj'hibekukiri kuj'ha Yesu Kristu ahidili ni m'mb'ele ghwa K'yara,

By this the Spirit of God is known: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,

3 ni kila roho j'haj'hibela kunkiera Yesu j'ha K'yara lepi. E'j'he j'hibeta kuj'ha roho j'haj'hikampinga K'yara au Kristu, ambaj'ho j'hamj'hip'heliki kuj'ha j'hihida, ni henu tayari j'hij'hele padunia.

but every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and is now in the world already.

4 Muenga bha K'yara, Bhana bhaganwa, na mmaliki na bhishinda kwa ndabha muene j'ha aj'hele mugati mwinu ndo m'baha kuliko muene j'ha aj'hele pa bhulimwengu.

You are from God, little children, and you have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.

5 Bhene ndo bhaulimwengu kwa henu Kya bhujobha ndo Kya bhulimwengu, na bhulimwengu ukabhap'heleke'sya.

They are from the world; therefore what they say is from the world, and the world listens to them.

6 Tete ndo bha K'yara. Muene j'ha ammanyili K'yara akatup'helekesya tete. Muene j'haabeli kuj'ha gha K'yara ibhwesyalepi kutup'helekesya. Mu e'le tumanyili roho ghwa bhukweli ni roho ghwa bhudesi.

We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

7 Bhaganwa, tugananai tete kwa tete, kwa ndabha, luganu ndo lwa K'yara, ni kila mmonga j'haigana ahogoliki ni K'yara na ammanyili K'yara.

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

8 Muene j'haabeli kugana basi ammanyilepi K'yara kwa ndabha K'yara ndo luganu.

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

9 Mu e'le luganu lwa K'yara lyafunulibhu miongoni mwa tete, kuj'ha K'yara andaghisye mwanabhe ghwa pekee ulimwenguni ili tutamaghe kup'hetela muene.

In this the love of God was revealed among us, that God sent his one and only Son into the world so that we might live through him.

10 Mu luganu o'lu si kuj'ha twan'ganili K'yara, lakini muene atuganili tete, ndo mana andaghisye mwanabhe aj'hiaghe fidia kwa sambi syitu.

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

11 Bhaganwa, ikaj'helai K'yara atuganili tete vilevile twilondeka kuganana tete kwa tete.

Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.

12 Aj'hedumu hata mmonga j'haambuene K'yara. Kama twiganana j'hoti kwa j'hoti, K'yara itama mugati mwitu ni luganu lwake lwikamilika mugati mwa tete.

No one has ever seen God. If we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is perfected in us.

13 Mu e'le tumanyi kuj'ha twitama mugati mwitu nu muene mugati mwitu kwandabha atupele roho bhwake.

We know that we abide in him and he in us because he has given us his Spirit.

14 Na tubhuene ni kushuhudila kuj'ha tataan'tumili muana kuj'ha mwokozi ghwa bhulimwengu.

And we have seen and we testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.

15 kila j'haekiri kuj'ha Yesu ndo mwana ghwa K'yara, K'yara itama mugati mwake nu muene mugati mwa K'yara.

If anyone confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

16 Na tumanyili ni kukiera bhuganu bhwa aj'he nabhu K'yara kwa tete. K'yara ndo luganu nu muene itama mugati mwa K'yara, nu K'yara itama mugati mwake.

And we have come to know and to trust in the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

17 luganu o'lu limalikukamilisibhwa Kati j'hitu, ili tujhiaghe ni bhujasiri ligono lya hukumu kwandabha kama muene Kya aj'hele, ni tete jinsi k'yatuj'hele mu bhulimwengu obho.

In this way, love is perfected among us, so that we may have confidence on the day of judgment, because as he is, so also are we in this world.

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. Whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

19 Twigana kwandabha K'yara atuganili luk'hombi.

We love him because he first loved us.

20 Ikij'hiaghe mmonga ibetakujobha “Ni'n'ganili K'yara” lakini akan'dadila ndongomunu, o'j'hu n'desi. Kwa ndabha j'haan'ganililepi ndongomunu, j'ha ikambona, ibhwesyalepi kun'gana K'yara j'ha abeli kum'mbona.

Whoever says, “I love God,” and yet hates his brother is a liar. For if anyone does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

21 Na ej'he ndo amri j'ha tujhe naj'hu kuh'oma kwa muene: J'hoj'hioha j'haan'ganili K'yara, ilondeka kun'gana ndongomunu pia.

And this is the commandment we have from him: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.
