< Matai 13 >
1 Eilinchuva eilyo uYesu akhakhegha munyumba akhaluta khulukhanji khu nyanja akhatama.
The same day, Jesus having gone out of the house, sat by the sea-side;
2 Avanu avinghi valundamine, vakhanchungula, umwene pwakhingile mumbwato akhatama mughati. Avanu avinghi pwu vakheima khulukanji khu nyanja.
but so great a multitude flocked about him, that he went into a bark, and sat down there, while all the people stood on the shore.
3 Pwu akhavavula ifinu finghi aliekhuhwananincha ni fihwani, alikhunchova, “Mlole, umbyalie alutiele khuvyala.
Then he discoursed to them of many things in parables.
4 Aliekhuvyale ienchinghe iesekhe nchiliekhugwa mu njiela pwu fikhincha ifideghe fikhahola.
The sower, said he, went out to sow; and, in sowing, some seeds fell by the way-side, and the birds came and picked them up:
5 Inchinghe nchikhagwa palunalawe, incho sanchakhave ung'anga mwingi ukhuta nchimelaghe. Nchikhamela ulwa khuva ung'anga gwale indebe.
some fell on rocky ground, where they had but little earth: these sprang up the sooner, because the soil had no depth:
6 Pwu ulunchuva lwavile lwivala lukhanyanya iemilela ulwa khuva gyale pakanya ung'anga gwale iedebe pwu nchikhuma.
but after the sun had beat upon them, they were scorched, and having no root, withered away.
7 Iembeyu inchienghe nchagwile mumintwinyo. Eimitwinyo gheikhakhula ghekhava mitali ukhulutielila inchene pwu nchikhalemwa ukhukhula.
Some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked them.
8 Iembeyu inchienghe nchikhagwa mung'anga unonu, nchikhamela nukhuhupa, inchienghe nchikhahola mala mia moja, inchinge sitini, inchingi salasini.
Others fell into good ground, and yielded increase, some a hundred, some sixty, some thirty fold.
9 Umwene uvyalienie mbulukhutu inchakhupulikha apuliekhaghe.
Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.
10 Avankhongi va mwene vakhincha vakhambuncha u Yesu, “Khinu khiekhi inkhewienchova na vanu wienchova nifiehwaniehencho?”
Then the disciples addressed him, saying, Why do you speak to them in parables?
11 UYesu akhavanda akhata, “Umwe mkhavile ukhunchimanya inchilikhuvutitu incha ludeva ulwa khukyanya, avene savakavile.
He answering, said to them, Because it is your privilege, and not theirs, to know the secrets of the Reign of Heaven.
12 Ulwa khuva umwene yuywa alienafwo ifinu uywa vie vieikyongelenchiwa ifinghe, hangha pwiva nafyo ukhulutielila. Uvalievuvule hange nakhikyo alienakyo pwu ipokhiwa kyope.
For to him that has, more shall be given, and he shall abound; but from him that has not, even that which he has shall be taken.
13 Pwu ninchova nawo khufikhwani ulwa khuva vangalolaghe savakhalolaghe. Hanghe vangapuliekhaghe valekhe ukhupuliekha, hanghe valekhaghe ukhunchimanya.
For this reason I speak to them in parables; because they seeing, see not; and hearing, hear not, nor regard;
14 Eilimenyu lya nyamalago uIsaya lievombikhe khuvene pwu lita, ukhuphulikha mpulikhagha hanghe samukhanchimanyaghe.
insomuch that this prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled in them, "You will indeed hear, but will not understand; you will look, but will not perceive.
15 Ulwa khuva ienumbula incha vanu ava nchivile nchitu, niembulukhuto nchavo sanchipulikha vunonu, namiho gha vene vasisiliele, ukhuta valekhe ukhulola na miho ghavene, vakhaphulikha ni mbulukhuto nchavene, vakhanchimanya ni numbula nchavene vakhasyetukha, une nikhavapokha.”
For this people's understanding is stupefied, their ears are deafened, and their eyes they have closed; lest seeing with their eyes, hearing with their ears, and apprehending with their understanding, they should reform, and I should reclaim them."
16 Musayiwe ulwa khuva amiho gheinyo ghilola, nie mbulukhuto ncheinyo nchiepuliekha.
But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.
17 Mwiedhiekhaghe nikhuvavula, avanya malagho avingi na vanu avanya lwiedhikho vanogwagwa ukhunchivona nchila unchumukhunchivono. Valemilwe ukhunchievona, vanoghilwe ukhuphulikha imbombo iela inchumupuliekha, savakhapuliekha.
For, indeed, I say to you, that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see the things which you see, but have not seen them; and to hear the things which you hear, but have not heard them.
18 Pwu mupuliekhaghe lieno ienongwa iya mbyalii.
Understand you, therefore, the parable of the sower.
19 Umunu uvieiphuliekha eilimenyu ilya ludeva ulwa khukyanya alekhaghe ukhuliemanya, umbivi pwu ikhwincha itola eiliekhavyaliwe munumbula mumwene. Eiyi yu mbeyu iyavyaliwe munundukhanji munjila.
When one hears the doctrine of the Reign, but considers it not, the evil one comes, and snatches away that which was sown in his heart. This explains what fell by the way-side.
20 Uvya vyaliwe mundunalawe vie ule uvyaliephokhiele ielimenyo nukhuhovoka.
That which fell on rocky ground, denotes him who, hearing the word, receives it at first with pleasure;
21 Alivale eimilela mughati mumwene, lietama unsiekhe iendebe. Pwu yienghahumile ietabu apanghe ukhuhanghayiekha khu nongwa ya liemenyu, umwene pwu iviepha iembeive.
yet, not having it rooted in his mind, retains it but a while; for when trouble or persecution comes, because of the word, instantly he relapses.
22 Uvieavyaliwe mumintwinyo, uyuo vieiphulikha eilimenyu iekwaghana ni mbombo incha nkhilunga nifwa vunongwe uwankhielungha pwu nchikhu mpelela ukhuta ielimenyu lielekhe ukhupa iesekhe. (aiōn )
That which fell among thorns, denotes that hearer in whom worldly cares, and deceitful riches, choke the word, and render it unfruitful. (aiōn )
23 Uviavyaliwe mung'anga unonu. Uyuo veihola isekhe na vienchiholagha isekhe nchunyingi mala mia, iyeinge sitini, iyeingi salasini.”
But that which fell into good soil, and bore fruit, some a hundred, some sixty, some thirty fold, denotes him, who not only hears and considers, but obeys the word.
24 UYesu akhavapha eikhikhwani eikhinghe. Akhanchova, “Uludeva lwa khukyanya luhwanine numu yuywa avyalile iembeyu mukyalo kya mwene.
Another parable he proposed to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a field, in which the proprietor has sown good grain:
25 Vuvaghonelile avanu pwu vakhancha avalughu vamwene akhavyale amanyasi munganu vakhahegha vakhaghodokha.
but while people were asleep, his enemy came, and sowed darnel among the wheat, and went off.
26 Ingano yiekhamela nukhuhupha, na ghamanyasi ghope ghakhamela.
When the blade was up, and putting forth the ear, then appeared also the darnel.
27 Avavombi va nyakyalo vakhincha vakhambuncha unyakyalo vakhata, 'Khikhi sawauyale iembeyu einonu mukyalo kyako? Khihumile khikhi lino mbona ghamelile amanyasi?
And the servants came, and said to their master, Sir, you sowed good grain in your field; whence, then, has it darnel?
28 Akhavavula akhata, undughu avombile imbombo inchi.' Avavomba mbombo vakhambola vakhata, “Lino wienogwa tukhakhupule?”
He answered, An enemy has done this. They said, Will you, then, that we weed them out?
29 Unyakyalo akhanchova akhata, 'Mwielekhelwe, ukhuluta khukupula, ulwa khuva vumukhupula amanyasi pwu mukhupulagha nayie ngano pwu paninie.
He replied, No, lest in weeding out the darnel, you tear up the wheat.
30 Mughalekhe ghakhula pupaninie ukhudugha upwakhiva gwifikha unsiekhi ugwakhubena. Unsiekhi ugwakhubena niela vavula aviebena ukhuta, 'Mutale ukhunkhupula amanyasi mughakhunghe mumwoto, pwu mulundamanie einganu tuviekhe mukhibana kyango.”
Let both grow together until the harvest; and in the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, first gather the darnel, and make them into bundles for burning; then carry the wheat into my barn.
31 U Yesu akhavavula ikhikhwani hincho ikhinghe. Akhata, “'Uludeve ulwa khukyanya lukhwanine nie mbeyu iya haladali(iendebe nno) yienyo umunu atoliele akhaluta kuvyala mukyalo ikya mwene.
Another similitude he proposed to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man planted in his field;
32 Eimbeyu eiye nini eno(ndebe) ukhulutilila imbeyu inchinghe nchoni. Vuyimela nukhukhula pwu yiekhula yive iembiekhi imbaha ukhulutilila ambiekhi eghienghe mukyalo pwu ifidege ifya munkyanya vikwinchaga vikwemaga nukhughataluka pakyanya pa mbikhi finchengagha nuvufumba mumaswatu gha mbikhe.”
for though it is the smallest of seeds, when grown, larger than any herb, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air take the shelter in its branches.
33 Akhavapha ikhikhwananincho eikhinghe akhata. “Uludeva ulwa khukyanya lukyanine nie khinu ikhilulile khikyo undala atolile akhapima ifiphimielo fidatu akhahanjania mumbutine woni vukhatutuma.
Another similitude he gave them: The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman mingled in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
34 Nchoni ienchi uYesu anchovile pavanu avinghi nukhuhwananincha ifihwani. Ukhulekha ifyakhuhwananincha pwu salikhunchova khinu.
All these similitudes Jesus spoke to the people; for he taught them only by similitudes;
35 Ukhuva nchila inchanchoviwe navanyamalagho nchivonekhaghe, upwu inchova, “Uyunikyama undomo gwangho ukhuchova khufihwani. Uyuninchova imbombo nchincho nchikhale khuvutitu ukhuhuva khuvutenghulilo uwa khilunga.”
in this verifying the word of the Prophet, "I will discourse in parables; I will utter things concerning which, all antiquity has been silent."
36 Pwu uYesu akhavalekha avanu vinghi akhaghodokha khumyave. Pwu avakhongi avamwene vakhankongha vakhata, “Utuvule vunonu ikhihwani ikyamasi mukyalo.”
Then Jesus, leaving the multitude, retired to the house, where his disciples accosted him, saying, Explain to us the parable of the darnel in the field.
37 U Yesu akhavanda akhata, “Uvie ivyala iembeyu inonu vei mwana va Adamu.
Jesus answering, said to them, He who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.
38 Eikyalo kyu khilunga; imbeyu einonu vuvana avakhuludeva. na manyasi vuvana ava ndughu untavangwa, nuu mbivi uviavyalile vei setano.
The field is the world; the good seed are the sons of the kingdom; and the darnel are the sons of the evil one;
39 Uvubeni vuvusililo uwa khilunga, aviebena vuvasuhwa va nghuluve. (aiōn )
the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the conclusion of this state; and the reapers are the angels. (aiōn )
40 Amanyasi vughilundama nukhu nyanya mu mwoto, vuyilava eiwo khuvumalilo uwa khilunga. (aiōn )
As, therefore, the darnel is gathered and burnt, so shall it be at the conclusion of this state. (aiōn )
41 Umwana va Adamu alasuha avasung'wa vamwene, ukhwincha khuluondamania ukhuhuma khuludeva ulwa mwene imbombo nchoni inchikhapelagha imbivi na voni avakhavombagha inchambivi.
The Son of Man will send his angels who shall gather out of his kingdom all seducers and iniquitous persons,
42 Voni valalahiwa mundighuli eilya mwoto, ukhwa khukhulava nikhililo nukhuheveta amino.
and throw them into the burning furnace: weeping and gnashing of teeth shall be there.
43 Pwu avanu vavo vavombagha inonu valang'ala ndielinchuva khuludeva ulwa Dada vavo. Uvyalieni mbulukhuto aphuliekhaghe.
Then shall the righteous shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears to hear let him hear.
44 Uludeva ulwa khukyanya luliehani niekhiebana khikyo khiefihiele mukyalo. Umunu akhakhievona akhafiha. Munduhekhelo ulwa mwene pwu akhaluta khwighuncha fyoni fifwo akhale nafwo, nukhughula eikyalo.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hid in a field, which, when a man has discovered, he conceals the discovery, and for joy thereof, sells all that he has, and buys that field.
45 Hange uludeva ulwa khukyanya luleindumunu unchulusi uvieilonda ulutalama ulunonu ulwa khukhava indalama inchiluteilile.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a pearl extremely precious, which a merchant, in quest of fine pearls,
46 Aviele akhaviele uluntalama ulunonu ulualondagha, ankhaluta ankhaghuncha iefyuale nafyo fyoni ankhanchighula ulutalama uluanoghielwe.
having found, sold all that he had, and purchased it.
47 Uludeva ulwa khukyanya luliehaniele ni nyafu inchilakhiwa munyanja, pwu nchi lundamania khila khinu eikhiliemaghasi.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a sweep-net cast into the seam which incloses fish of every kind.
48 Vunchidieghile avalovi pwu vikhweghela khulu nkhanji vitama pasi, pwu visalula iefinonu vinhola viveikha mu fyombo, ifisafielondiwa pwu viekhufietagha khuvutali.
When it is full, they draw it ashore, and gather the good into vessels, but throw the useless away.
49 Vuyielava eiwo eilinchuva eilya khusiliela eikhilunga. avasuhwa valukhumila, valavakhencha avavomba mbivi voni mughati mbavo vivomba ienonu. (aiōn )
So it shall be at the conclusion of this state. The angels will come and separate the wicked from among the righteous, (aiōn )
50 Pwu valavatagha mundighuli ilya mwoto, pwu khulava nikhilielo nukhu kheveta amino.
and throw them into the burning furnace. Weeping and gnashing of teeth shall be there.
51 U Yesu akhavavuncha munchimanyile imbombo nchoni? Avankhongi va mwene vakhanda vakhata, “Ena.”
Jesus said, Do you understand all these things? They answered, Yes, Master.
52 Pwu u Yesu ankhavavula akhata, “'Khila nkhalani yuoywa aviele nkhonghi va ludeva ulya khukyanya, akhwanine nunyanyumba uvie ihumya mukhibana kyamwene iehomya ifinu ifiepya nie finkhulu.”
He added, Every scribe, therefore, instructed for the Reign of Heaven, is like a householder, who brings out of his storehouse new things and old.
53 U Yesu wa maliele iefikhwanie kheincho, akhakhegha pala upwuale.
And after he had finished these similitudes, he departed thence.
54 U Yesu wanchifikhe khukhielunga eikya khumyave ukhu aliekhunchikhuvamanyisya avanu muntembiele. Pwu valiekhudhegha valiekhuta uyuo atoliele ndakhu uluhala uolu nie fidhehgo iefii?
Jesus being come into his own country, taught the inhabitants in their synagogue; and they said with astonishment, Whence has this man this wisdom, and this power of working miracles?
55 Umunu uyou samwana vaselemala? uMariamu ndasavie vanina? Avalokhololwe savuva Yakobo, Yusufu, Simoni nu Yuda?
Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And do not his brothers, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas,
56 Navahanchave tulie navo apha pakhaya? Khumbe umunu uyou anchiwene ndhakhu ienchi nchoni?”.
and all his sisters, live amongst us? Whence, then, has he all these things?
57 Vakhaviphinchana. U Yesu akhavavula, “Unyamulagho sakhalemwe ukhudwadiwa. Khumyave sakhadwadiwe na mumu nkhielunga ikya myiave.
Thus they were offended at him. But Jesus said to them, A prophet is no where disregarded, except in his own country, and in his own family.
58 Pwu akhilekhelwa ukhuvomba ifiedhekho finghi khumyave ulwa khuva savaliekhumwiedhikha.
And he did not many miracles there, because of their unbelief.
