1 Vwu ingile mu sinagogi muvile nu munu unyakhevokho khelema.
At another time he entered the synagogue, when a man was there who had a withered hand.
2 Pwu avange avanu vavovalekhonkongelela pa wipi ukhulola inave yikhopokha elinchuva lya Sabato pwu vang'ege.
And they, with a design to accuse Jesus, watched him, to see whether he would heal the man on the Sabbath.
3 u Yiisu akhambula unyakhevokho khelema, “Ema paagatinagati pa lulundamano ulu.”
Jesus said to the man, who had the withered hand, Stand up in the midst.
4 Pwu akhavavola avanu, “Lunonu ukhuvomba elinonu palinchuva lya Sabato ama ukhovomba gago sagalweli; ukhupokhe uvwumi, ama ukhubunda?” Avene vakhanchiga mie.
Then he said to them, Whether it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath, or to do evil--to save, or to kill? But they were silent.
5 Hulyoyo akhavavola, avile nulususuvalo ulwakhuva vavile ni numbula ng'afu, pwu akhambula umunu ola, “Golosya ekhevokho khyaho.”
And looking around on them with anger, being grieved for the blindness of their minds, he said to the man, Stretch out your hand: and as he stretched out his hand, it was restored.
6 Akhakhegolosya pwu u Yiisu akhampokha ekhevokho khyamwene. Avapitavwe vakhakhuma khunji vakhasongane na vatwa valonde anjela eya khubuda.
And the Pharisees went out immediately, and conspired with the Herodians against him to destroy him.
7 Pwu u Yiisu, na vakongi va mwene, vakhaluta khu nyanja, ululundamano lwa vanu avakhomile khu Galileya avange khu va Yuta.
But Jesus withdrew with his disciples toward the sea, whither a great multitude followed him from Galilee, from Judea,
8 Avange ukhukhuma khu Yerusalemu khu Idumaya khovolongolo eya Yolodani khuwipi ne Tiro ne Sidoni, lulundamano uluvakha, vwulupulikhe imbombo inchoikhonchivomba, vakhincha khumwene.
from Jerusalem, from Idumea, and from the banks of the Jordan. They also of the territories of Tyre and Sidon, having heard what wonders he had performed, flocked to him in crowds.
9 Pwu akhavavola avakongi va mwene ukhutesania uvwato uvwudebe ukhuta ululundamano vasite ukhuntinga.
Then he ordered his disciples to get a boat to attend him, because of the multitude, lest they should throng him:
10 Ulwakhuva avapokhile vingi, khela munu uveale nu khungatanchawa ale nuvwunogwe amwabasye.
for he had healed many, which made all, who had maladies, press upon him to touch him.
11 Mwoni imepo imbivi upunchambwene, walekhugwa pasi nu khulela, valekhune hova, “Uve ule mwana va Nguluve.”
And the unclean spirits, when they beheld him, prostrated themselves before him, crying, Thou art the Son of God.
12 Pwu alekhuvavola vasite ukhuvomba amanyikhihe.
But he strictly charged them not to make him known.
13 Akhalota khu kyamba, akhavelanga vavo avanogilwe, vakhaluta khumwene.
Afterward Jesus went up a mountain, and called to him whom he would, and they went to him.
14 Akhavakhala kumi na vaveli (akhavatambula vasukhiwa),
And he selected twelve, that they might attend him, and that he might commission them to make proclamation;
15 vave paninie nu mwene avasukhage khulumbelela, Vave na akga khuhencha imepo.
empowering them to cure disease; and to expel demons.
16 Pwu akhavakhala kumi na vaveli: Simioni, uveampile elitawa lya Peteli,
These were Simon, whom he surnamed Peter,
17 Yakobo unswambe Zebedayo, nu Yohani ulukholo va Yakobo, aveapevilwe elitawa lya Bonagesi, avo vale vana va Ngurumo,
and James, son of Zebedee, and John, the brother of James. These he surnamed Boanerges, that is, sons of thunder;
18 Nu Ndeleya, Filipo, Batholomayo, Mathayo, Tomaso, Yakobo unswambe Alfayo, Thadayo, Simioni Mkananayo,
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James son of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite
19 Nu Yuta Iskariote, yoywa alamwambuncha.
and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
20 Pwu akhaluta khukaya, nu lulundamano lwa vanu vakhincha paninie, vakhalemwa na khuhulya unkate.
Then they went into a house, whither a crowd again assembled, so that Jesus and his disciples could not so such as eat.
21 Avakhekholo kya mwene vuvapolikhe elimenyu elyo, vakhaluta khu khomwibata, vakhata, “Ikhwalukha.”
His kinsmen hearing this, went out to restrain it, (for they said, He is beside himself.
22 Avasimbi vavovainchile ukhuhuma khu Yerusalemu vakhata, “Alenimepo incha Beelzebuli, “Nu, “Umbakha va mepo ikhencha imepo.”
And the scribes who came from Jerusalem, said, He is confederate with Beelzebub, and expels demons by the prince of demons.)
23 Yiisu akhavelanga khumwene nu khunchova navo khu fikhwani, “Ndakhehi u Setano ikhung'encha u Setano?
Jesus having called them, said to them by similitudes, How can Satan expel Satan?
24 Ingaveuvwutwa vungalekhehane uvwutwa uvwa savokheme.
If a kingdom be torn by factions, that kingdom can not subsist.
25 Ingave uvwunchenge vungalekhehane uvivunchenge uvwa savokheme.
And if a family be torn by factions, that family can not subsist.
26 Ingave u Setano iva nekhemendu yoywa, sakheme, pwu iva afikhe khuvwusililo vwa mwene.
Thus, if Satan fight against himself, and be divided, he can not subsist, but is near his end.
27 Ulwakhuva asipale uvealeyomo yoywa iwesya ukhwingila mbunchenge uvwa munu unyamakha nu khuhencha ifinu fya mwene khetampinya unyamakha tasi, pwu ilandamaninga ifilimbunchenge.
No one who enters the strong one's house, can plunder his goods, unless he first overpower the strong one; then, indeed, he may plunder his house.
28 Elweli nihovavola, imbivi nchoni incha vana va vanu yanchisyeleheliwa, paninie na ukhudakhela inchovonchova,
Indeed, I say to you, that though all other sins in the sons of men are pardonable, and whatever slanders they shall utter;
29 Yeyoni uveyakheva ikhodokha umepo umbalanche sahasyekheliwe, pwu iva ntula nongwa amanchuva goni.” (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
whosoever shall speak slanderously against the Holy Spirit, shall never be pardoned, but be liable to eternal punishment. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
30 Yiisu alenchovile ele ulwakhuva valekhunchova ukhuta, “Ale ni mepo imbivi.”
He said this because they affirmed he was leagued with an unclean spirit.
31 Kisha mama yake na ndugu zake walikuja na kusimama nje. Wakamtuma mtu, kumwita.
Meanwhile came his mother and brothers, who standing without, sent for him.
32 Ululundamano lalwa lwatamile pawipi nu mwene vakhambola, “Ujyuva vakho na valokhololwo vale hanji, vikhoholonda uve.”
And the crowd who sat round him, said to him, Lo, your mother and brothers are without, and seek you.
33 Akhavanda akhata, “Ujyuva vango na avalokholo vango?”
He answered them, saying, Who is my mother or my brothers?
34 Akhavalola vava vatamile nu kunchungula akhata, “Lola, ava vuvajyuva na valokholo lwango!
And looking about on those who sat around him, he said, Behold my mother and my brothers;
35 Yeyone uveivomba ulugano lwa Nguluve, u munu uywa velokholo lwango, nu ng'ancha vango, nu jyuva vango.”
for whosoever does the will of God, is my brother, my sister, and mother.
