1 Usikhei ugwa vuvinchile khu Yerusalemu, vuvafikhe khu Bethfage nakhu Bethania, khu kyamba kya Mizeituni, U Yesu akha vasuha vavili mugati muvakongi va mulene
And, when they are drawing near unto Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, towards the Mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, —
2 Akhavavula, “Akhata mulutage khu kheijiji eikhukhili kalibu nufwe. Numekhwingila umwa mukhu yevona ei punda ne nyana va punda eiligodowe yeyo saye pakheiliwe nu munu mulungule mlete khuliane.
and saith unto them—Go your way into the village that is over against you, and, straightway, as ye are entering it, ye shall find a colt tied, upon which, no, man, yet, hath sat: loose him, and bring him.
3 Mungavone umunu ikhu vavuncha ita khekhi muligaha lulo'?, Mtenchaga u Yesu atusuhile ekilivala khavilii.”
And, if anyone unto you should say—Why are ye doing this? say—The Lord, of him hath need; and, straightway, he sendeth him off again here.
4 Vakhaluta nu khuvivona epunda (embunda) vekunglule khunji khundiango khuu ntava uguliei wasi, puvakha hudula.
And they departed, and found a colt, tied unto a door outside, on the street, —and they are loosing him.
5 Na vanu avange va eimile pala vakata (va kha vavula muligaha kheikhii muvopoa ei punda eyei)?”
And, certain of them that were there standing, were saying unto them—What are ye doing, loosing the colt?
6 Vakha vavula nduvu u Yesu avavulile na vanu vakhavalekha valutage.
and they said unto them as, Jesus, said, —and they let them go.
7 Avakongi vavile vakhagega (vakhalela) ei punda ei ligodowe khwa Yesu va khatandiikha, ei mienda gwa vene pakianya payene u Yesu akhatama pakianya.
And they bring the colt unto Jesus, and throw upon him their mantles, —and he took his seat upon him.
8 Avanu vingi vakhatandikha ei mienda gwa vene museule, na vange va khata ndikha amaswatu aga avagidile muvialo.
And, many, spread out, their mantles, along the way, and, others, young branches, —cutting them out of the fields.
9 Vala avavale khuvongolo na vala avovakongaga vakhatova ekelele vakhata, “Hosana! Mwana va Daudi Hosiana uviu sajuwe Hosiana uvii khui ncha khulituwa lya Yesu Krisri.
And, they who were going before, and they who were following after, were crying aloud—Hosanna! Blessed, is he that is coming in the name of the Lord!
10 Lusanyiwe uludeva ululukhui n'cha ulwa dada vito udavudi! Hosana khuula uvali khuu kianya”
Blessed, is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!
11 Pu u Yesu akhiungila khu Yerusalemu akhiingila mutembile akhalola khiila kheinu puu usikhei gu khava gulutile akhaluta khu Bethania, paninie na vali khei n'chigo na vavili.
And he entered into Jerusalem, into the temple, and, looking round on all things, late already being the hour, he went out into Bethany, with the twelve.
12 Ee sikhu eyekongile vuvivu ya ukhuhuma khu Bethania, ale na njala.
And, on the morrow, when they came forth from Bethany, he hungered;
13 Akha vona ubikhei ugugwale nama swatu, khuvutali akhaluta khuui lola eingave iwesya ukhupata kyukyoni vu alutile khuilola sa khapata kheinu mubikhei ugwa gale maswatu gene pa khuva sagwale isikhei gwa mibeikhii.
and, seeing a fig-tree from afar, having leaves, he came… if, therefore, he should find aught in it, and, coming up to it, nothing, found he, save, leaves; for it was not, the season, of figs.
14 Akhaguvula ubikhii asikhuli umunu uviyakheva ilya isekhe ukhuhuma khuliuve.”Na vakongi va mwene va kha pulekha. (aiōn )
And, answering, he said unto it—No more, unto times age-abiding, let anyone of thee, eat fruit. And his disciples were listening. (aiōn )
15 Vakhii n'cha khu Yerusalemu, umwene akhiingila mutembile nu khutengula ukhova humya khunji avagulaji na vagunchaji mugati mutembile. Apindyiile itisi ncha vavi khwandusanwa iihela ni figoda fya vala avavagu n'chaga iti nguundya.
And they come into Jerusalem. And, entering into the temple, he began to be casting out them who were selling and them who were buying in the temple, and, the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them who were selling doves, he overthrew, —
16 Sakha luhusa vei voni ukhutola kyukyooni mtembile khii kyo kya gun'chiwe.
and was not suffering that anyone should carry a vessel through the temple;
17 Akhava manyeisya nu khun'chova, “Ye salisimbiwe ei lwakhuta, “Ei nyumba ya daada viva nyumba ya nyeisayo'? Khwanya panji vooni? lino muvikhile lipango lya valiasi.”
and was teaching, and saying—Is it not written, My house, a house of prayer, shall be called, for all the nations? but, ye, have made it, A den of robbers.
18 Avanchungaji avavaha na navavi simba vakha puleikha vuinchova, navo vakhalonda einjila ya khuumbuda. Hata ewe vadwadile pakhuva amapuga ga vanu gasuugaga na mamenyu aga amanyasaga.
And the High-priests and the Scribes, heard, it, and began seeking how they might, destroy, him, —for they were fearing him; for, all the multitude, were being struck with astonishment at his teaching.
19 Kheila sikhei voa fikhee valikhuhega.
And, as soon as it became late, they were going forth outside the city.
20 Vuvigenda vukhu vakha vona ubikhe guumde nage milela gwa yane.
And, passing by early, they saw the fig-tree, withered from its roots;
21 U Peteli akha kumbukha nu khun'chova, “Mwalimu (Imanyisi) lola ubikhii ugukha gu katuule gwumile.”
and, put in mind, Peter saith unto him—Rabbi! see! the fig-tree which thou didst curse, is withered.
22 U Yesu akhavajibu, “Akhata muve nukwieidekho mwa Nguluve.
And, answering, Jesus saith unto them—Have faith in God.
23 Eedikha nikhuvavula ukhuta mungate ei kyamba ei khiei kupukha khunyanja, 'Eingawe in'chila masiakha munumbula ukhuta eikhei anchovile, vuyilewonayu Nguluve vuivomba.
Verily, I say unto you—Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be lifted up, and cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that, what he speaketh, cometh to pass, it shall be his.
24 Nikhuvavula khila khene eikhiei munchiova nukhuvan'cha mweidikhage ukhuta muuipata ni fyofiva fyeonyo.
For this cause, I say unto you—All things, whatsoever ye are praying for and asking, believe that ye have received, and they shall be yours.
25 Vumukhueeima ne khueisaya munogile ukhusikhila khila khinu eikhimulenakyo khumunu vivoni pu udaada va khukianya eikhova syekhila umwe inogwa n'cheinyo. (
And, when ye stand praying, forgive, if aught ye have against any, —that, your Father also, who is in the heavens, may forgive you your offences.
And they come again into Jerusalem. And, as he is walking in the temple, the High-priests and the Scribes and the Elders come unto him,
28 Khululagilo luleikhu vuvomba imbombo in'chii?” Nave ni akhupile amamulakha aga ukhuvomba eulo?”
and were saying unto him—By what authority, these things, art thou doing? And who to thee hath given this authority that, these things, thou shouldst be doing?
29 U Yesu akhata, “Nikhuva vun'cha eilimenyu limo. Mumbule na yune nikhuvavula khululagilo luleikhu ni vomba aga.
But, Jesus, said unto them—I will question you, as to one matter, and answer me, —and I will tell you, by what authority, these things, I am doing:
30 Ukuoncho lwa Yohani lwa humile khukianya euo lwa humile khumunu? munjibu.”(mumbule).
The immersion by John, Of heaven, was it, or, of men? Answer me!
31 Yakhavun'chana vavo va khata, “Tungate khukianya, 'Iti pukheikhii, 'samkhedikhe?'
And they were deliberating among themselves, saying—If we say, Of heaven, he will say, Wherefore [then] did ye not believe him?
32 Tungate khuvanu, 'Pakhuva avanu,'...” Vadwadile pakhuva vaibatilile ukhuta u Yohani einyamalago.
But, should we say, Of men…, they were in fear of the multitude, for, one and all, were holding John, in very deed, that he was, a prophet.
33 Pu vakhajibu u Yiisu vakhata, “Satulumanyile. Nayu Yesu akhata, “Nayune sanikhuva in'chi khuve ululagilo luleikhu.
And, making answer unto Jesus, they say—We know not; and Jesus saith unto them—Neither do, I, tell you, by what authority, these things, I am doing.
