< Yohana 13 >
1 Po leno kabla ya sikukuu ya pasaka, ulyakhova u Yesu akhalumanyile ukhuta esaa lyamwene yeyo ikhega ikelungo ekhe ilota khwa daada, ingave avaganile avanu va mwene vavo vakhale ikelunga, akhavaganile sana.
Jesus having perceived, before the feast of the passover, that his time to remove out of this world to his Father, was come; and having loved his own, who were in the world, he loved them to the last.
2 No tavangwa avile avekhiwe tayari munumbula ya Yuda Isikariote, umwana va Simoni, ukhusaliti u Yesu.
Now while they were at the supper, (the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him, )
3 U Yesu akhalumanyile ukhuta udaada avekhile ifinu fyoni mumavokho gamwene nukhuta akhomile khya Ngolove naalekolota khange khya Ngolove.
Jesus, though he knew that the Father had subjected everything to him, and that he came from God, and was returning to God;
4 Akha sisimokha mkyakholya akhata ndekha pasi umwenda ugwa khonji. Akhatola ilitawalo akhekonga yoywa.
arose from supper, and laying aside his mantle, girt himself about with a towel.
5 Akhavekha amagasi mbakholi akhanja ukhuvakalafya amalunde avasiole vamwene nukhuvafuta ne litawolo lelyo akhekongile yomwene.
Then he poured water into a basin, and began to wash the feet of his disciples, and to wipe them with the towel with which he was girded.
6 Akhincha khya Simoni Petro, nu Petro akhambola, “Intwa, winogwa ukho ng'olyafya amalunde une?”
When he came to Simon Peter, Peter said to him, Master, would you wash my feet?
7 U Yesu akhanda nukhumbula, elenilomba solemanyile isalinchi, wikhweliwa pongela.”
Jesus answered, At present you do not comprehend what I am doing; but you shall know hereafter.
8 U Petro akhambola, “Sakhasukhe amalunde gango khani.” U Yesu akhanda, ingave sanikhokhosukha, sukhave sekhemu paninye nune.” (aiōn )
Peter replied, You shall never wash my feet. Jesus answered, Unless I wash you, you can have no part with me. (aiōn )
9 U Simoni u Petro vakhombola, “Intwa, usite ukhusukha amalunde gango tuu, bali namavokho nuntwe gwango.”
Simon Peter said to him, Master, not my feet only; but also my hands and my head.
10 U Yesu akhambola, “Yeyoni yoywa tayari ogile sinogiwa ukhwoga isipokua amalonde gamwene, na avile isafi umbele gwa mwene gwoni; umwe muvile safi, lakini sio mwevoni.”
Jesus replied, He who has been bathing, needs only to wash his feet; the rest of his body being clean.
11 Ulyakhova u Yesu akhalumanyile yoywa ikhosaliti; eye yosababu akhanchovile, sio mwevoni mle safi.”
You are clean, but not all. For he knew who would betray him; therefore he said, You are not all clean.
12 Uwokati u Yesu avile avasukhile amalunde gavene naavile atolile umwenola gwa mwene nukhutama khange, akhavavola, “Je Mweliwe khekhyo nevavombile?
After he had washed their feet, he put on his mantle, and replacing himself at table, said to them, Do you understand what I have been doing to you?
13 Mukhonyelanga une “Imanyesi” Intwa uyu mnchova volyeli, ulyakhova mnevelile.
You call me the Teacher and the Master; and you say right; for so I am.
14 Engave une Intwa na imanyesi, nevasukhile amalunde genyo, nayomwe mnogilye ukhuvasukha amalunde avayenye.
If I, then, the Master and the Teacher, have washed your feet; you also ought to wash one another's feet.
15 Ulyakhova nevapile ufyano ili ukhota nayomwe khange muvombe kama une ulunevombile kholyomwe.
For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
16 Ninchova, Ninchova, nikhuvavola, usukhwa siimbakha kholikho untwa vamwene; wala yoywa asukhiwe imbakha khulikho yoywa asukhile.
Most assuredly, I say to you, the servant is not greater than his master, nor is the apostle greater than he who sends him.
17 Ungave ulumanyile amambo aga, usayiwe ungagawombe.
Happy are you, who know these things, provided you practice them.
18 Saninchova kholyomwe mwovoni, ulya khova nevamanyile avanevanchagwile - ila ninchova aga ili ukhuta uwosimbe wo wowese ukhutimela: 'Yoywa ilya ukate gwango anyemekhinche ekhesukhululu khwa mwene.'
I speak not of you all. I know whom I have chosen: but the scripture must be fulfilled, "He that eats at my table, has lifted up his heel against me."
19 Nikhovavala ele kabla salekhomile ili yakheva lekhomile, muwesye ukhunyedekha ukhuta une NENE.
I tell you this now, before it happen; that when it happens, you may believe that I am the Messiah.
20 “Ninchova, ninchova, nikhuvavola, uyuikhomokhela une, ikhopokhela yuywa nikhosukha, nayoywa ikhopokhela une ikho pokhela yuywa asukhile une.”
Most assuredly, I say to you, he that receives whomsoever I send, receives me; and he that receives me, receives him who sent me.
21 Po u Yesu avile anchovile aga, akhatesekha munumbula, akhalulola nukhunchova, “Ninchova, ninchova, nikhovavola ukhuta umpo venye ikhosaliti.”
After uttering these words, Jesus was troubled in spirit, and declared, saying, Most assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.
22 Avasyole vakhalolana, vakha swiga akhanchovile khwani.
Then the disciples looked one upon another, doubting of whom he spoke.
23 Vakhale pa mesa, yumo uvasiole vamwene egime ikefuva khya Yesu yuywa akhaganile.
Now one of his disciples, one whom Jesus loved, was lying close to his breast:
24 U Simoni Petro akhamboncha uvasiole uywa nukhunchova, “Tuvole veni yuywa khomwene ikhonchova.”
Simon Peter, therefore, made a sign to him, to inquire whom he meant.
25 Uvasiole yuywa akhegime ikefuva kha Yesu akhambola, “Intwa veeni?”
He, then, reclining on Jesus' bosom, said to him, Master, who is it?
26 U Yesu akhanda, “Khu yuywa ninyofya ekhe pande khya kata ni khopa.” Avile anyofinche ukata, akhapa u Yuda umwana va Simoni Iskariote.
Jesus answered, It is he to whom I shall give this morsel, after I have dipped it. And having dipped the morsel, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
27 Baada ya kata, Usetani akhamwingila. U Yesu akhambola, “Khekho winogwa ukhuvomba ukhevombe khembeve.”
After receiving the morsel, Satan entered into him. And Jesus said to him, What you do, do quickly.
28 Po leno khakuna umunu pa mesa akhalumanya esababu ya Yesu ukhunchova elijambo ele khumwene.
But none at the table knew, why he gave this order.
29 Ange vakhatile upakho gwa khela, u Yesu akhambola, “Ugule ifinu ifitwinogwa kwa ajili ya Sikukuu,” au inogiwa akhomye ekhenu khu ganchu.
Some imagined, because Judas had the purse, that Jesus had signified to him to buy necessaries for the festival; or, to give something to the poor.
30 Baada ya Yuda ukhupokhela ukata, akhakhuma khonji khembeve, yekhale pakelo.
When Judas had taken the morsel, he immediately went out: and it was night.
31 U Yuda avile akhegile, u Yesu akhanchova, “Leno umwana va Adamu inoliwe, u Ngoluve aginiwe khomwene.
When he was gone, Jesus said, the Son of Man is now glorified, and God is glorified by him.
32 U Ngolove ikho ginyu khu mwene, na ayaikhoginya khembeve.
If God is glorified by him, God also will glorify him by himself, and that without delay.
33 Avana avadebe, nele numbe usekhe idebe. Mukhondonda, nalulya nevavolile Avayahudi, 'Ukhunilota, samukhawesye ukhwincha.' Leno nikhovavola umwe, khange.
My children, I have now but a little time to be with you. You will seek me, and what I said to the Jews, Whither I go, you can not come; I say at present to you.
34 Nikhovapa ululagelo ulupya, ukhota mganane; kama une ulunekhavaganile umwe, nayomwe, khange nayomwe mgananage yomwe khwa yomwe.
A new commandment I give you, that you love one another; that as I have loved you, you also love one another.
35 Kho ele avani vitambolaga ukhuta umwe mole vasiole vango, mgave mlenologano khokhela yomo nu yunge.”
By this shall all men know, that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another.
36 U Simoni u Petro akhambola, “Intwa, wilota ndakhu?” U Yesu akhanda, “Esekhemu eyenilota lene samukha wesye ukhufyata (ukhung'onga), lakini mkhong'anga pongela.”
Simon Peter said to him, Master, whither are you going? Jesus answered, Whither I am going, you can not follow me now; but afterward you shall follow me.
37 U Petro akhambola, “Intwa, khekhi nesite ukhukhukonga khata leno? Une nikhomya uwomi wango khijili yakho.”
Peter replied, Master, why can not I follow you presently? I will lay down my life for your sake!
38 U Yesu akhanda, “Je wikhomwa uwomi wakho khokili yango? Ninchova, ninchova nikhokhuvola, elikongove yukheva livekha vobelile mara khadatu.”
Jesus answered him, Will you lay down your life for my sake? Most assuredly, I say to you, the cock shall not crow, till you have disowned me thrice.
