1 Pu tunakile ukyutumanyile tasi mbufumbwe wa Kilisite, tunogile ukuva nulugimbo ukuluta mbudulufu, tuleke kange ukuvika ulwatu lwa kupelela mu mbombo ichi chi chila womi nu lwidiko mwa Nguluve,
For this reason, having left the word of the beginning of the Christ, we may advance to perfection, not laying again a foundation of conversion from dead works, and of faith on God,
2 nu lwetu lwa lumanyisyo lwa lwocho, nu kuvavekela amavoko, uvuchoka vwa vafwe, nu vuhigi vwa siku choni. (aiōnios g166)
of the teaching of immersions, also of laying on of hands, also of [the] resurrection of the dead, and of continuous judgment, (aiōnios g166)
3 Pu twagahile ndavule upwu uNguluve atuhovokile.
and this we will do, if God may permit,
4 Ulakova sayi kwidihana kuvala ava vale ndumuli lutachi, uvu vavonjiche ikikungilwa kya kukyanya, nu kuva va lulu ndamano lwa mepo mbalache,
for [it is] impossible for those once enlightened, having also tasted of the heavenly gift, and having become partakers of the Holy Spirit,
5 Nu ava vonjiche uvunonu vwa limenyo lya Nguluve na kumaka aga kunseki ugwichi, (aiōn g165)
and tasted the good saying of God, also the powers of the coming age, (aiōn g165)
6 Pu vakagwa - sayikwidihana kange ukwidi hana ukuvakilivola kange ukhoma mu toba. Ulakona vikukilivu la kavile umwana va Nguluve mbukuvilwa munumbula cha vene, pu vikumbika ukuta vakubendiwa pavuvalafu.
and having fallen away, to renew [them] again to conversion, having crucified to themselves the Son of God again, and exposed to public shame.
7 Ula kuva ung'anga ugwupilile ifula eyiyitima kila senki, yimecha ufinu ifyu avanu avavombile pakyalo, vikwapilile ulusayo lwa Nguluve.
For the earth, having drunk in the rain coming on it many times, and is bringing forth herbs fit for those because of whom it is also dressed, partakes of blessing from God,
8 Upu ingave gihupa imitoni ulungupa, ni kidilu, yichila kinu na yesiga lile padebe ukukotoliwa. Kuvumalilo vya pene kukuyezya.
but that which is bearing thorns and briers [is] disapproved of, and near to cursing, whose end [is] for burning;
9 Upu ingava twitande, vagane tukuvidikala kumambo amanunu aga ku lyumwe na aga mbupoku.
but we are persuaded, concerning you, beloved, the things that are better, and accompanying salvation, though even thus we speak,
10 Ulakova u Nguluve sa mbivi ukuta itamwa imbombo chenu nu lugano ulumuvonisye munditanuva lya mwene, mu ile mwavavombile mukhuva vombele.
for God is not unrighteous to forget your work, and the labor of love that you showed to His Name, having ministered to the holy ones and ministering;
11 Twinogwa ficho ukuta kila munu avonesye ulugimbo lulalula ukusika kumwisyo kya wayelweli wa vukifu.
and we desire each one of you to show the same diligence, to the full assurance of the hope to the end,
12 Satwinogwa muve volo, pu muve wakongi va vala avihala indaganiye ku njila ya hwidiko nu vwe yumilichi.
that you may not become slothful, but followers of those who through faith and patient endurance are inheriting the promises.
13 Pu uNguluve avile apile u Abrahamu indagavie ampile ku kuvwami wa mwene, ulakuna ale avicho sa idiegile kuyuafe umunu yoyoni uvi umbaha kuliko voni.
For God, having made promise to Abraham, seeing He was not able to swear by [any] greater, swore by Himself,
14 Atile, “'Lweli nikukusaya, kange, nikukukweongeleja ikipapo kwako.”
saying, “Blessing I will indeed bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you”;
15 Ku njili iye u Abrahamu au upilile ukyu kyale ndagani vu agulile nu kwiyumilicha.
and so, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise;
16 Ulakova avanu vikidiega kumbaha kulutilila kuvoni na kunuvisyo ku mbombo chomi ku kwidiega kuvugayilweli.
for men swear by the greater, and the oath [is] for confirmation of the end of all their controversy,
17 Wakati uNguluve alipoamua kuonesha kwa uwazi zaidi kwa warithi wa ahadi kusudi lake zuri lisilobadilika, alilithibitisha kwa kiapo.
in which God, more abundantly willing to show to the heirs of the promise the immutability of His counsel, interposed by an oath,
18 Pu uNguluve avile alamwile lekuvika pavuvalafu ficho kuvahale va ndaganie kuvufumbwe vwa mwene uvusavukwanduka, mu umva uNguluve siwesya ukuchova uvudesi, ufwe yufwe tunyilile kupupoki nu kuginga ehwa inumbula mu maka ga lusuvilo niliviki vivwe mbulongo ndiumwe.
that through two immutable things, in which [it is] impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong comfort, having fled for refuge, to lay hold on the hope being set before [us],
19 Tulinavwo uvakifu ukuta liwe ilikangafu nu kuhuvile inumbula cheto, uvukifu uvu vukwiufila ingati kusana kumwenda.
which we have, as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and entering into that within the veil,
20 UYesu aingile aponu apo ukhuva indongochi vetu, wu avombike ukuva intekhechi imbaha nukuchila kusila lusuku ukuhuma kwa Melkizedeki. (aiōn g165)
to where a forerunner entered for us—Jesus, having become Chief Priest throughout the age after the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn g165)
