1 Lino umepo inchova pavuvalafu ukhuta eimiseikhi eigiikwincha avange avanu valaluleka ulwidiko nukwiyumilincha ukhupulihincha i mepo inchisyova nulumanisyo ulya khimepo.
But the Spirit expressly states that in later times will depart from some from the faith giving heed to spirits deceitful and to teachings of demons
2 uguuvamanyilaga mumbudesi nuvusyovi. Uweigane wa veene vulasytuka.

4 Ulwakhuva khila khinu inkyavumbile Unguluve akhivumble khenonu. Khisikuli ikyutupoke nukhusana khinaghiwa nukhubeliwa.
For every creature of God [is] good and no [thing is] to be rejected with thanksgiving being received;
5 Ulwakhuva kivalanchiwe ukhugendela eilimenyu lya Nguluve kunjila iyakhudova.
it is sanctified for through [the] word of God and prayer.
6 Unganchiveikhe imbombo inchi pavulongolo palukololyo, wiva mbombi einonu va Yeesu Kilisiti.
These things laying before the brothers good you will be a servant of Christ Jesus being nourished in the words of the faith and of the good teaching that you have closely followed;
7 Ulwakhuva ukhulite mumamenyu aga lwidiko nulumanyisyo ulunonu ululukongile. Pivu mubelage ifibchago ifya khilunga ifinugiwa na avadala avagogolo. Pivu pilondiwa, umanyiele yuve mumbuvalanche.
But profane and silly fables do refuse; do train rather yourself to godliness.
8 Ulwakhuva uvunchovele wa mbivi khunogile padebe, ukhuva uvuvalanche vunogiwa mno khumbombo nchoni. Khulolela ulwidikahno ulwavutamo uwalino nuvukwincha.
For bodily exercise of a little is profit, but godliness for everything profitable is [the] promise holding of life of the present and which is coming.
9 Ululagilo ulwu lwakwediekiwa lunogiwe ukwideikiwa lweli.
Trustworthy [is] the saying and of full acceptance worthy.
10 Ulwakhuva khumbombo inchi tugaatanchiwa nukhwiyumilincha ukhuvomba imbombo einoo. Ulwakuva tulinawo uvukifu mwa Nguluve umwumi, uvei-impoki va vanu voni, kuvala avikhumawidika.
Towards this for (also *k*) we toil and (strive, *N(K)O*) because we have hope on God [the] living, who is [the] Savior of all men especially of believers.
11 Uvei inchova nukhumanyisya imbombo inchi.
do command these things and do teach.
12 Umunu uviaveenchaga alekhage ukhuubeda uvudebe uwako. Pivu avinchage vakhuva khilolelo khuvoni avikhumwidikha, munjovele, mundogeendo, mundugano, mundwidiko, na mbunonu.
no one your youth should despise, but a pattern do be for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love (in spirit *K*) in faith, in purity.
13 Impaka uponielincha, ugiembage mukumanyila, mukhuvunga, na mukumanyisya.
Until I come, do give heed to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching,
14 Ulabedaga ikhikhungielwa ikhilimugaati indyuve, ikyuwakavile ukhugeendala kuvanyamalago, nukhusayiwa na mavoko navagogolo.
Not do be negligent of the in you gift which was given to you through prophecy with [the] laying on of the hands of the elderhood.
15 Unchigahinchage imbombo nchi. Mwutamilage mumwa. Pivu ukhukula kulwuve kuvinchage pavuvalafu kuvanu vonu. Unchinganchage ulugendelo lwako ni manyisyo.
These things do ponder, in them do be absorbed, so that your progress evident may be (in *k*) all.
16 Tamaga mumbombo iye. Ulwakhuva ukhuvomba eiwo pivu yuwukhipokha yuve viemwene kuvala avikukupulikhincha.
do give heed to yourself and to the teaching; do continue in them; this for doing both yourself you will save and those hearing you.
