1 U Peteli unkongi va Yeu Klisite na vagenji uvuvavalinila ne vahaliwa mu Ponto yoni, Galatia, Kapadokia, Asia, no Bithinia,
Peter an apostle of Jesus Christ To [the] elect sojourners of [the] Dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 kuhumane nu vumanyi vwa Nguluve, udada nu kwivalancha numepo umbalanche nu widihinchi vwa Yesu Klisite nu khulagalincha nu nkisa gwa mwene. Uluhu Nguluve khuliumwe, nulunanchehencho lwinyo lwu ngelele.
according to [the] foreknowledge of God [the] Father by [the] sanctification of [the] Spirit unto [the] obedience and sprinkling of [the] blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace would be multiplied.
3 U Nguluve udada nu nkhuludeva veto uYesu Klisite avasaye. Mbuvaha vwa kisa kya mwene, atupile ukhuholiwa ulwa mmumbya mmuko ga vuhale, ukhugendela kuvunchuka vwa Yesu uKlisite ukhuhuma khulyufwe,
Blessed [be] the God and Father of the Lord of us Jesus Christ, the [One] according to the great of Him mercy having begotten again us to a hope living through [the] resurrection of Jesus Christ out from [the] dead,
4 kuvuhale uvusawisili uvusa wisila savulava nu vuvivi khange savula punguka. Nu vuvikiwe kwu kyanya kuluhuvilo lweto.
to an inheritance imperishable and undefiled and unfading reserved in [the] heavens for (you *NK(O)*)
5 Kummaka ga Nguluve mloleliwa ukugendela ndwidiko lwa vupoki vuvwa puvule uvudinduliwe imisikhi gya kuvu malilo.
who by [the] power of God [are] being guarded through faith for [the] salvation ready to be revealed in [the] time last;
6 Mmuhovoge pa ili ndayive lino mwikhi pulika lususuvalo, mungelo inchilipapingi.
in which you greatly rejoice for a little while at present, if being necessary it is, (having been put to grief *NK(o)*) by various trials
7 Ulwakuva ulwidiko lwinyo lugeliwe, ulwidiko ulwa mana, saluhwanine ni sahabu iyuyiyaga mwu mwoto, umwu lwigele ulwidiko ulwenyo. Iyi yihumile pa lwidiko lwinyo luhole uluginio, iyu yiholile uvu valanche nu ludwado mmbovonekele vwa Yesu uKlisite.
so that the proven genuineness of your faith (more precious *N(k)O*) than gold which is perishing through fire though being refined it may be discovered towards praise and (towards *o*) glory and honor in [the] revelation of Jesus Christ;
8 Samumbwene umwene ulwakhuva mkumwidika umwene nuluhekelo ulutava luncho veka uluhekelo uludenchiwe vuvalanche.
whom not (having seen *N(k)O*) you love, on whom now [though] not seeing believing now (you yourself rejoice *NK(o)*) with joy inexpressible and glory-filled,
9 Lino mmukwopililo yumwe uvuno wa lwidiko lwinyo nu vupoki vwa numbulo nchenyo.
receiving the outcome of the faith of you, [the] salvation of [your] souls;
10 Anyamalago valiko londa nu kwivuncha nu luhala vunonu vwa vupoki uvu, uwa luhungu lukale lwiva lwinyo.
Concerning this salvation sought out and searched out diligently [the] prophets of the toward you grace having prophesied,
11 Valikonda ukhulumanya uvupoki uvulindikhekhi uvuyakave vukwi ncha kange valikolonda kulumanya unsikhi guliku ugwu mepo va Klisite uvi ali gati mumbwene alikhunchuka khekhi na vene. Iyi yilikuhumile unsukhi upwu ali kutala ukuvavula inogwa ya luvavo lwa Klisite nu vuvalanche uvwu vukhuvakongaga.
inquiring into what or what manner of time was signifying the in them Spirit of Christ testifying beforehand unto Christ's sufferings and the after these glories;
12 Lulikhunekela mwu vanyamalago ukhuta valaku nchivombela imbombo inchi soyi vile ya vene vavo. Lino ulwakhuva yenyo amambo aga ukugendela kuvala avigiga ilivangeli kulwumwe kwu njila ya mepo umbalanche uvya suhiwe kuhumo kukyanya, aga navavasuhwa vinogwa uluvonekela kwu lwene.
to whom it was revealed that not themselves (you *N(K)O*) however they were serving in those things which now have been proclaimed to you through those having evangelised you by [the] Spirit Holy having been sent from heaven, into which desire angels to look.
13 Pwu lino mkhunge ifivina ifya luhala lwinyo mve mwiyumilinchage mumasage genyo. Muve na maka agalutilile munduyo ulukwincho kulyumwe unsiki gwa kudinduliwe khwa Yesu Klisite.
Therefore having girded up the loins of the mind of you, being sober-minded, fully do set [your] hope upon which is being brought to you grace in [the] revelation of Jesus Christ.
14 Nda vene avagolofu mlekhe ukhukungiwa muvene nu vunogwe uvulikukonga upwu mwale vuvule amesage.
as children of obedience not fashioning yourselves to the former in the ignorance of you desires,
15 Nu mwe uvya vilangile vu mbalanche nayumwe muve nchage vavalanche mu ndogendo lwoni ulwa figono fyoni.
But as the [One] having called you [is] holy also yourselves holy in all [your] conduct do be,
16 Ulwa khuva lisimbiwe, “muvenchage vavalanche ulwakuva une nilimbalanche.”
because it has been written: (that *no*) Holy (you will be, *N(k)(o)*) because I myself holy (am. *NK*)
17 Ingave mwikhilanga u “'Dada” ula uvi ihiga uvwa yihweli ukhukongana ni mbombo incha munu nu munu guvumbele unsikhi gwa ndugendo lwakho ndi lisima.
And if [as] Father you call on the [One] impartially judging according to the of each work, in fear during the of the sojourn of you time do conduct yourselves;
18 Mlumanyile ukhuta sayale hela apange isahabu, ifinu ifinangike ifyo mupokhiwe ukuhuma khu nyiho nchenyo incha vupe liva incho mwa minyile ukhuhuma kuva dada vinyo.
knowing that not by perishable things — by silver or by gold — you were redeemed from the futile of you manner of life handed down from [your] fathers,
19 Ulwakuva mupokiwe mnkisa gwa vudwanchiwa ugwa Klisite, nduvu yivile ing'osi iyi luvuvule ingofyo ni elideha.
but by [the] precious blood as of a lamb without blemish and without spot of Christ,
20 UKlisite ahalilwe khatale vulu sikhuli ulwuto ifi fya kuvumalilo, ivonesyage kuliumwe.
foreknown indeed before [the] foundation [the] world, having been revealed however in ([this] last *N(k)O*) of the times for the sake of you
21 Mkhumwidikha uNguluve ukugendela mwumwene, uvi uyu uNguluve anchusinche khuhuma khuvufwe akhapa uvuvalanche ulwidiko lwinyo na maka gavinchage mwa Nguluve.
who through Him (believing *N(k)O*) in God, the [one] having raised up Him out from [the] dead and glory Him having given, so as for the faith of you and hope to be in God.
22 Mmekile inumbula nchenyo ukhuva nonu nu ludwado vwa yila ilweli, kulugano lwa kikolo ulugolwikhe, pwu lino mgananage na maka ukhuma munumbula.
The souls of you having purified by obedience to the truth (through spirit *K*) unto brotherly love sincere out of purity of heart one another do love fervently;
23 Lino mholiwe ulwavili saku mbeyu iyuyinangikha, yihuma khu mbeyu iyu sayinangika, ukhugendela mbwumi ni limenyu lya Nguluve ilisigile. (aiōn g165)
born again not of seed perishable but of imperishable through [the] word living of God and abiding (into the age; *K*) (aiōn g165)
24 Ulwa khuva imivili gyoni gilinda mani, nuvuvalanche vywa mwene woni vulindi lyani. Ilyani likwuma ni livuva ligwa,
because All flesh [is] like grass, and all [the] glory (of it *N(K)O*) like [the] flower of grass; Withers the grass, and the flower (of him *K*) falls away;
