Romanos 5
1 Rumal riꞌ xbꞌantaj sukꞌ chaqe rumal ri qakojobꞌal, uj kꞌo chi pa jaꞌmaril rukꞌ ri Dios xa rumal rech ri Ajawxel Jesucristo.
Because therfore that we are iustified by fayth we are at peace with god thorow oure Lorde Iesue Christ:
2 Xa rumal rech areꞌ, xuqujeꞌ rumal ri kojobꞌal kꞌo qe che ri toqꞌobꞌ, jawjeꞌ ri uj sukꞌ wi. Xaq jeriꞌ kujkiꞌkotik qayeꞌm ri ujuluwem ri Dios.
by who we have awaye in thorow fayth vnto this grace wherin we stonde aud reioyce in hope of the prayse that shalbe geven of God.
3 Man xwi ta waꞌ, xane kaqanaꞌ xuqujeꞌ nimaꞌq pa taq ri kꞌaxkꞌolal ri kaqariqo, qetaꞌm chi ri kaxkꞌolal kubꞌan chaqe chi kujjeqiꞌk.
Nether do we so only: but also we reioyce in tribulacion. For we know that tribulacion bringeth pacience
4 Ri kꞌaxkꞌolal kusukꞌumaj ri noꞌjibꞌal, ri sukꞌalaj noꞌjibꞌal, kujeqebꞌa qakꞌuꞌx chirij ri Dios.
pacience bringeth experience experience bringeth hope.
5 Man kel ta qakꞌixibꞌal we jeqel qakꞌuꞌx chirij ri Dios, jeriꞌ rumal cher Areꞌ xutixixej loq ri uloqꞌanik pa ri qanimaꞌ rumal ri Tyoxalaj Uxlabꞌixel ri xuya chaqe.
And hope maketh not ashamed for the love of God is sheed abrod in oure hertes by the holy goost which is geven vnto vs.
6 Jeriꞌ rumal che taq riꞌ are man kujkwin ta chukolik qibꞌ, ri Cristo xkamik kumal kech ri itzel taq winaq, qas pa ri qꞌij ri yaꞌtalik.
For when we were yet weake accordynge to ye tyme: Christ dyed for vs which were vngodly.
7 Kꞌax uriqik jun winaq ri karaj kakam rumal jun sukꞌ laj winaq, pune kꞌo jun riꞌ ri karaj kakam rumal rech.
Yet scace will eny man dye for a rightewes man. Paraventure for a good ma durst a man dye.
8 Ri Dios xukꞌut ri uloqꞌanik chiqawach, jeriꞌ rumal ri are uj aꞌjmakibꞌ na, ri Cristo xkam rumal qe.
But God setteth out his love that he hath to vs seinge that whyll we were yet synners Christ dyed for vs.
9 Xbꞌantaj sukꞌ chaqe rumal ri ukikꞌel, xuqujeꞌ kujkoltaj na che ri nimalaj uqꞌatoj tzij ri kape na.
Moche more then now (seynge we are iustifyed in his bloud) shall we be saved from wrath thorow him.
10 Are taq uj ukꞌulel kan ri Dios, xujutzir rukꞌ, rumal ri ukamikal ri Ukꞌojol, rumal kꞌu che ri uj utzirinaq chi rukꞌ ri Dios, kujkoltaj na rumal ri ukꞌaslemal ri Ukꞌojol.
For yf when we were enemyes we were reconciled to God by the deeth of his sonne: moche more seinge we are reconciled we shal be preservid by his lyfe.
11 Man xwi ta waꞌ, xane kujkiꞌkot xuqujeꞌ pa Dios rumal ri Ajawxel Jesucristo, tyox che areꞌ xujrutzirisaj.
Not only so but we also ioye in God by the meanes of oure Lorde Iesus Christ by whom we have receavyd the attonment.
12 Xa rumal rech jun achi xok loq ri mak cho ri uwachulew, xuqujeꞌ xa rumal ri makaj xpe ri kamikal. Xuqujeꞌ xkichapleꞌj kamem ri winaq rumal cher konojel xemakunik.
Wherfore as by one ma synne entred into the worlde and deeth by the meanes of synne. And so deeth went over all men in somoche that all men synned.
13 Are taq majaꞌ kayaꞌtaj ri taqanik, kꞌo chi wi ri makaj pa ri uwachulew. Ri makaj man katzijox taj we ta mat kꞌo ri taqanik.
For even vnto the tyme of the lawe was synne in the worlde: but synne was not regarded as longe as ther was no lawe:
14 Pune jeriꞌ, ri kamikal xchapleꞌtaj loq rukꞌ ri Adán xultoqꞌol rukꞌ ri Moisés, xuqujeꞌ xpe pa kiwiꞌ ri winaq ri pune man xemakunik jetaq ri xubꞌan ri Adán. Ri Adán are xretwechij loq uwach ri jun ri kape na.
neverthelesse deeth rayned fro Adam to Moses eve over them also that synned not wt lyke transgression as dyd Adam: which is ye similitude of him that is to come.
15 Ri umak ri Adán man kajunumataj taj rukꞌ ri utoqꞌobꞌ ri Dios. We kꞌu rumal ri umak jun achi xekam sibꞌalaj kꞌi winaq, are ta kꞌu mat nim ri sipanik ri xpe xa rumal ri utoqꞌobꞌ jun, ri Jesucristo, ri xuya chike konojel ri winaq.
But the gyfte is not lyke as the synne. For yf thorow the synne of one many be deed: moche more plenteous vpon many was the grace of God and gyfte by grace: which grace was geven by one man Iesus Christ.
16 Xuqujeꞌ man kajunumataj taj ri usipanik ri Dios rukꞌ ri kꞌax ri xukꞌam loq ri umak ri Adán. Ri qꞌatoj tzij ri kakꞌaman bꞌik pa ri kꞌaxkꞌolal are waꞌ ri xuya kanoq ri makaj, are kꞌu ri usipanik ri Dios xpetik rumal ri ukꞌiyal ri makaj rech jeriꞌ xuluya sukꞌal.
And ye gifte is not over one synne as deeth cam thorow one synne of one yt synned. For damnacion cam of one synne vnto condemnacion: but the gyft cam to iustify fro many synnes.
17 We rumal ri umak jun achi xpe ri kamikal, are kꞌu mat sibꞌalaj e kꞌi na kekꞌojiꞌ pa ri kꞌaslemal ri xpetik xa rumal rech ri jun, ri Jesucristo ri kekꞌamawaꞌn ri kꞌaslemal are ri winaq ri kakikꞌamawaꞌj ri sipanik xuqujeꞌ ri sukꞌal.
For yf by the synne of one deeth raigned by the meanes of one moche more shall they which receave aboundance of grace and of the gyfte of rightewesnes raygne in lyfe by the meanes of one (that is to saye) Iesus Christ.
18 Je kꞌu riꞌ, xa jun makaj xkꞌamow loq ri kꞌaxkꞌolal pa kiwiꞌ konojel ri winaq, je xuqujeꞌ xa jun jastaq rech sukꞌal xbꞌanow ri sukꞌal ri kuya kikꞌaslemal konojel.
Lykewyse then as by the synne of one condemnacion cam on all men: eve so by the iustifyinge of one cometh the rightewesnes that bringeth lyfe vpo all men.
19 Jeriꞌ xa rumal cher man xniman taj jun achi, e kꞌi xbꞌantaj aꞌjmakibꞌ chike, je xuqujeꞌ xa rumal ri unimanik jun kabꞌantaj sukꞌ chike e kꞌi.
For as by one manes disobediece many be cam synners: so by ye obediece of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Ri taqanik xyaꞌtajik rech jeriꞌ kanimar ri makaj. Are xnimar ri makaj, sibꞌalaj xnimar ri toqꞌobꞌ.
But ye lawe in the meane tyme entred in yt synne shuld encreace. Neverthelater where aboundaunce of synne was there was more plenteousnes of grace.
21 Jeriꞌ rech jetaq ri xubꞌan ri makaj xukꞌam loq kamikal, ri toqꞌobꞌ xuqujeꞌ xjeqiꞌk rech xukꞌam loq sukꞌal rech jun alik kꞌaslemal rumal ri Ajawxel Jesucristo. (aiōnios g166)
That as synne had raigned vnto deeth even so might grace raygne thorow rightewesnes vnto eternall lyfe by the helpe of Iesu Christ. (aiōnios g166)
