1 Rumal riꞌ at, at xapachinaq man kuya taj kabꞌij chi man awetaꞌm taj ri kabꞌano are kaqꞌat tzij pa kiwiꞌ nikꞌaj chik, jeriꞌ rumal are kaqꞌat tzij pa kiwiꞌ nikꞌaj chik, kaqꞌat xuqujeꞌ tzij paꞌwiꞌ at, rumal je katnoꞌjinik jetaq ri kenoꞌjin aꞌreꞌ.

Therfore arte thou inexcusable o man whosoever thou be yt iudgest. For in ye same wherin thou iudgest another thou condemnest thy selfe. For thou that iudgest doest eve the same selfe thinges

2 Kamik qetaꞌm chi ri uqꞌatoj tzij ri Dios qas sukꞌ ubꞌanik pa kiwiꞌ ri kakibꞌan etzelal.

But we are sure that the iudgement of God is accordinge to trueth agaynst them which commit soche thinges.

3 ¿Teꞌq pa akꞌuꞌx chi katwinik katanimaj cho ri uqꞌatoj tzij ri Dios, at ri kaqꞌat tzij pa kiwiꞌ nikꞌaj chik, kabꞌan xuqu ya awe ri etzelal ri kakibꞌan aꞌreꞌ?

Thikest thou this O thou ma that iudgest them which do soche thinges and yet doest eve the very same yt thou shalt escape ye iudgemet of God?

4 ¿La man kawilo chi kawetzelaj ri utzilal re ri uqꞌinomal ri Dios, xuqujeꞌ ri rutzil ukꞌuꞌx xuqujeꞌ ri kochꞌonik? ¿La man kachomaj chi are karaj katukꞌam apanoq rech kakꞌex akꞌuꞌx?

Ether despisest thou the riches of his goodnes paciece and longe sufferaunce? and remembrest not how that the kyndnes of God ledith the to repentaunce?

5 Rumal ri ukowil ri awanimaꞌ ri man karaj taj kukꞌex ribꞌ, xaq xwi kamulij oyawal paꞌwiꞌ pa ri qꞌij are kukꞌut ribꞌ ri sukꞌalaj uqꞌatoj tzij ri Dios.

But thou after thyne harde herte yt canot repet heapest ye togedder the treasure of wrath agaynste the daye of vengeauce when shalbe opened ye rightewes iudgemet of god

6 Jeriꞌ rumal ri Dios kutoj na chkijujunal ri taqalik kakikꞌamawaꞌj cho ri kichak.

which will rewarde every ma accordinge to his dedes:

7 Ri Dios kuya na jun alik kꞌaslemal chike ri winaq ri are tajin kakibꞌan utz taq chak, kakitzukuj juluwem, kakitzukuj chi nim kiꞌlik, xuqujeꞌ kakitzukuj kꞌaslemal. (aiōnios g166)

that is to saye prayse honoure and immortalite to them which cotinue in good doynge and seke eternall lyfe. (aiōnios g166)

8 Are kꞌu ri winaq ri kakibꞌan nimal, ri kakilij ubꞌanik ri etzelal, kaqꞌat na tzij pa kiwiꞌ rukꞌ kꞌaxal rumal ri Dios.

But vnto them that are rebellious and disobey the trueth yet folowe iniquytie shall come indignacion and wrath

9 Kape na bꞌis xuqujeꞌ kꞌaxal pa kiwiꞌ ri winaq ri kakibꞌan etzelal, nabꞌe kape pa kiwiꞌ ri winaq aꞌj Israel, kꞌa te riꞌ pa kiwiꞌ ri man aꞌj Israel taj.

tribulacion and anguysshe vpon the soule of every man that doth evyll: of the Iewe fyrst and also of the gentyll.

10 Are kꞌu ri winaq ri kakibꞌan utzilal, kayaꞌtaj na kiqiꞌj, kanimarisax na, xuqujeꞌ kayaꞌtaj na jaꞌmaril chike, nabꞌe na ri winaq aꞌj Israel, kꞌa te riꞌ ri man aꞌj Israel taj.

To every man that doth good shall come prayse honoure and peace to ye Iewe fyrst and also to the gentyll.

11 Jeriꞌ, rumal chi ri Dios junam keril konojel ri winaq.

For ther is no parcialyte with god. But whosoever hath synned with out lawe shall perisshe wt out lawe.

12 Kojonel ri e makuninaq ri man ketaꞌm taj uwach ri taqanik, kasach na kiwach man chuxeꞌ taj ri taqanik; are kꞌu ri ketaꞌm ri taqanik, kꞌa te riꞌ xemakunik kaqꞌat na tzij pa kiwiꞌ jetaq ri kubꞌij ri taqanik.

And as many as haue synned vnder the lawe shalbe iudged by the lawe.

13 Je kꞌu riꞌ rumal che ri Dios man are ta kubꞌij sukꞌ chike ri xaq xwi kakitatabꞌej ri kubꞌij ri taqanik xane are e sukꞌ ri kakibꞌan ri kubꞌij ri taqanik.

For before god they are not ryghteous which heare ye lawe: but the doers of the lawe shalbe iustified.

14 Jeriꞌ rumal cher ri winaq ri man aꞌj Israel taj ri maj ri taqanik ri tzꞌibꞌatalik kukꞌ, kakibꞌan ri kubꞌij ri taqanik, pune maj kitaqanik, areꞌ e taqanik chibꞌil kibꞌ.

For if the gentyls which have no lawe do of nature the thynges contayned in the lawe: then they havynge no lawe are a lawe vnto them selves

15 Rukꞌ waꞌ riꞌ kakikꞌutu chi pa kanimaꞌ tzꞌibꞌatal wi ri kutoqꞌij ri taqanik, xuqujeꞌ ri kichomabꞌal kuqꞌalajisaj chi jeriꞌ, rumal kꞌo jujun mul ri kichomabꞌal kuꞌtzujuj xuqujeꞌ jujun mul chik kuꞌtoꞌo.

which shewe the dede of the lawe wrytten in their hertes: whyll their conscience beareth witnes vnto them and also their thoughtes accusynge one another or excusynge

16 Jeriꞌ kakꞌulmataj na pa ri qꞌij are kuqꞌat na tzij ri Dios pa Jesucristo, pa kiwiꞌ ri jastaq ri xaq chaꞌwal ubꞌanom ri winaq, jeriꞌ kubꞌij ri utz laj tzij.

at the daye when god shall iudge the secretes of men by Iesus Christ accordinge to my Gospell.

17 Ri at kꞌut ri kabꞌij chi at aj Israel, chi are ri taqanik kattoꞌwik xuqujeꞌ kanimarisaj awibꞌ rumal cher kꞌo ariqoj ibꞌ rukꞌ ri Dios,

Beholde thou arte called a Iewe and trustest in the lawe and reioysist in God

18 awetaꞌm ri urayibꞌal ukꞌuꞌx ri Dios xuqujeꞌ kachꞌobꞌo jachike ri qas utz ubꞌanik jeriꞌ rumal cher at pixibꞌatal rukꞌ ri taqanik,

and knowest his will and hast experience of good and bad in that thou arte informed by the lawe:

19 kabꞌij chi awetaꞌm, chi at kꞌamal bꞌe kech ri e moyabꞌ xuqujeꞌ at kitunal ri e kꞌo pa ri qꞌequꞌmal.

and belevest that thou thy silfe arte a gyde vnto the blynde a lyght to them which are in darcknes

20 Kabꞌij chi at yoꞌl kꞌutuꞌn chikiwach ri maj ketaꞌm, ajtij kech akꞌalabꞌ, awetaꞌm pa ri taqanik ri etaꞌmabꞌal xuqujeꞌ ri qas tzij.

an informer of them which lacke discrecio a teacher of vnlearned which hast the ensample of that which ought to be knowen and of the truth in the lawe.

21 At ri kaya kꞌutuꞌn chike nikꞌaj chik ¿jas che man kaya ta kꞌutuꞌn chibꞌil awibꞌ? Kabꞌij chi man utz taj kabꞌan elaqꞌ ¿jas kꞌu che katelaqꞌik?

But thou which teachest another teachest not thy selfe. Thou preachest a man shuld not steale: and yet thou stealest.

22 At ri kabꞌij chi man utz taj kuꞌtzukuj kebꞌ rachajil ri ixoq o kebꞌ rixoqil ri achi, ¿kꞌa te riꞌ je kabꞌan at? At ri kaꞌwetzelaj ri e bꞌanom taq dios ri keqꞌijilaꞌxik, ¿kꞌa te riꞌ katelaqꞌ loq pa taq ri templos ri keqꞌijilaꞌx wi?

Thou sayst a man shuld not commit advoutry: and thou breakest wedlocke. Thou abhorrest ymages and robbest God of his honoure.

23 At ri kabꞌan nimal rumal cher awetaꞌm ri taqanik, ¿kꞌa te riꞌ kaya pa ukꞌixibꞌal ri Dios rumal man kanimaj taj ri taqanik?

Thou reioysest in the lawe and thorow breakinge the lawe dishonourest God.

24 Ri tzꞌibꞌatalik kubꞌij: Iwumal iwe kabꞌix awas taq tzij che ri Dios kumal ri winaq ri man aꞌj Israel taj.

For the name of god is evyll spoken of amonge the Gentyls thorowe you as it is written.

25 Ri circuncisión kꞌo kutayij we are kawilij unimaxik ri taqanik, are kꞌu we man kanimaj, at junam kukꞌ ri man kojtal ta ketal.

Circumcisio verely avayleth if thou kepe the lawe. But if thou breake the lawe thy circumcision is made vncircumcision.

26 We ri winaq ri man aꞌj Israel taj kakibꞌan ri kubꞌij ri taqanik, ¿la man kꞌu kabꞌix riꞌ chike chi okisatal xuqujeꞌ ketal aꞌreꞌ rumal ri kakibꞌano?

Therfore if the vncircumcised kepe the ryght thinges contayned in the lawe: shall not his vncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

27 Ri man sakꞌital taj, kunimaj kꞌu ri taqanik, kuqꞌat na tzij paꞌwiꞌ at, jeriꞌ rumal kꞌo ri taqanik tzꞌibꞌatalik awukꞌ xuqujeꞌ okisatal awetal, kꞌa te riꞌ kaqꞌipij qaj ri taqanik.

And shall not vncircumcision which is by nature (yf it kepe the lawe) iudge the which beynge vnder the letter and circumcision dost transgresse the lawe?

28 Man are ta ri kilitajik kabꞌanow che jun chi aj Israel, xuqujeꞌ man are ta ri kukoj retal jun pa ri utyoꞌjal.

For he is not a Iewe which is a Iewe out warde. Nether is that thynge circumcision which is outwarde in the flesshe.

29 Pa ranimaꞌ kunaꞌ wi jun we aj Israel, ri etal rech ri animaꞌaj, are ri Uxlabꞌixel kabꞌanowik, man are taj ri taqanik ri tzꞌibꞌatalik bꞌanowinaq. Ri winaq aj Israel ri jeriꞌ kanoꞌjinik, kaya na uqꞌij rumal ri Dios man kumal taj ri winaq.

But he is a Iewe which is hid wythin and the circucisio of ye herte is the true circumcision which is in the sprete and not in ye letter whose prayse is not of men but of god.
