< Romanos 12 >
1 Xaq jeriꞌ wachalal, qas kinta chiꞌwe pa ri utoqꞌobꞌ ri Dios chi kitzuj ri ityoꞌjal, jetaq jun kꞌaslik sipanik chuqꞌijilaꞌxik ri Dios pa chꞌajchꞌojil, rumal cher are waꞌ ri qꞌijilaꞌnem ri kaqaj cho ri Dios.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your reasonable service.
2 Man kiwesaj ta kiwach ri kakibꞌan ri winaq aꞌjuwachulew, xane chikꞌexa ri kixchomanik, rech kichomaj jas ri uchomanik ri Dios ri qas sukꞌ xuqujeꞌ tzꞌaqat. (aiōn )
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God. (aiōn )
3 Rumal ri toqꞌobꞌ ri yaꞌtal chwe, kinbꞌij chiꞌwe: Maj bꞌa jun kunaꞌ nimal chiꞌwe cho ri qas taqal che, xane qas chuchomaj na jun jachin ri areꞌ rukꞌ sukꞌal, jetaq ri unimal ri ukojobꞌal ri yaꞌtalik rumal ri Dios.
For through the grace given to me, I say, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
4 Jacha ta ne ri utyoꞌjal jun winaq sibꞌalaj kꞌi jastaq kꞌo che, man konojel ta kꞌut xa jun uwach chak kakibꞌano, xane jaljoj taq ri kakichakuj.
For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5 Xaq jeriꞌ uj pune uj sibꞌalaj kꞌi, xa jun qaꞌnik pa Cristo, ronojel ri ujwokol wiꞌ rachiꞌl ribꞌ ronojel.
So we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6 Jaljoj taq ri sipanik ri yaꞌtal chaqe rumal ri toqꞌobꞌ. We yaꞌtal che jun ri sipanik rech qꞌalajisanik rech ri Uxlabꞌixel, chukojo bꞌa rukꞌ ri unimal ri kojobꞌal ri yaꞌtal che.
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of faith;
7 We are ri sipanik rech patanijik yaꞌtal che jun, patanijoq, we are ri rech kꞌutuꞌn chuya ri kꞌutuꞌn.
Or ministry, [let us wait] on [our] ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching:
8 We are yaꞌtal chaqe ri sipanik chikitaqchiꞌxik nikꞌaj chik, jeriꞌ qabꞌanaꞌ. We are yaꞌtal ri sipanik chaqe chikitoꞌik ri kꞌo kirajawaxik, chujtobꞌanoq. We are xuqujeꞌ ri kꞌamoj bꞌe ke nikꞌaj chik, utz bꞌana che ukꞌamik kibꞌe, xuqujeꞌ bꞌanoq rukꞌ kiꞌkotemal.
Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, [let him do it] with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness.
9 Man xaq ta kijaluj uloqꞌaxik iwibꞌ, chiwetzelaj ri etzelal, are chitereneꞌj ubꞌanik ri utzilal.
[Let] love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10 Chiloqꞌaj iwibꞌ chiꞌjujunal, nim chiwila ibꞌ, nim chiwila iwibꞌ chibꞌil taq iwibꞌ.
[Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another;
11 Ri jastaq ri rajawaxik sakꞌajil chubꞌanik, chibꞌana rukꞌ sakꞌajil, man rukꞌ taj saqꞌoril, chipatanij ri Ajawxel rukꞌ ichuqꞌabꞌ.
Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
12 Chixkiꞌkot pa ri ukuꞌlibꞌal ikꞌuꞌx chirij ri Dios, chikochꞌo ri kꞌax ri kiriqo, amaqꞌel chibꞌana chꞌawem.
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing earnest in prayer;
13 Chiꞌtoꞌ ri iwachalal, chiꞌkꞌamawaꞌj cho taq iwachoch are kixkisolij.
Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
14 Chiꞌtewechiꞌj ri kakibꞌan kꞌax chiꞌwe; chiꞌtewechiꞌj, man xa ta kiꞌwetzelaj.
Bless them who persecute you; bless, and curse not.
15 Chixkiꞌkot kukꞌ ri keꞌkiꞌkotik, chixoqꞌ kukꞌ ri koꞌqꞌik.
Rejoice with them that rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16 Xa jun chibꞌana che ri ichomabꞌal. Minaꞌ nimal, xane nim chiꞌwila ri kakimochꞌ kibꞌ. Mibꞌij chi xaq xwi ri ix kꞌo iwetaꞌm.
[Be] of the same mind one towards another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17 Mitoj ukꞌaxel ri etzelal ri kabꞌan chiꞌwe, are chibꞌana ri utzilal chikiwach ri winaq.
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 We kixkwinik, chixkꞌol pa jaꞌmaril kukꞌ konojel ri winaq.
If [it is] possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Wachalal, man kitoj ta ukꞌaxel ri etzelal ri kabꞌan chiꞌwe, ri tzꞌibꞌatalik kubꞌij: In kintojow na ukꞌaxel ri kꞌax ri kakibꞌano.
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place to wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Xaq jeriꞌ: We kanum ri akꞌulel, chatzuquꞌ, we kachaqiꞌj uchiꞌ, chaya ujaꞌ. We jeriꞌ kabꞌano ri winaq ri itzel kanoꞌjin chawe kakꞌix na.
Therefore if thy enemy hungereth, feed him; if he thirsteth, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Man kaya ta bꞌe che ri etzelal kok pa awanimaꞌ, xane chachꞌeka ri etzelal rukꞌ ri utzilal.
Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
