< Apocalipsis 9 >

1 Ri uroꞌ ángel are xubꞌan ri usuꞌ xinwil jun chꞌumil ri kꞌo cho ri kaj, xtzaq loq cho ri uwachulew. Che we chꞌumil riꞌ xyaꞌtaj loq ri lawe rech ri uchiꞌ ri jul rech qꞌequꞌmal ri man kꞌo ta ukꞌisik. (Abyssos g12)
Then the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from heaven upon the earth; and to him was given the key to the bottomless pit. (Abyssos g12)
2 Ri chꞌumil are xujaq ri uchiꞌ ri jul rech ri qꞌequꞌmal ri man kꞌo ta ukꞌisik, xel loq sibꞌ chupam, jetaq usibꞌal jun nimalaj tuj, ri sibꞌ xuqꞌeqarisaj ri qꞌij xuqujeꞌ ri kyaqiqꞌ. (Abyssos g12)
And he opened the bottomless pit, and out of the pit there went up a smoke like the smoke of a great furnace. And the sun and the air grew dark, because of the smoke out of the pit. (Abyssos g12)
3 Chupam ri sibꞌ xeꞌl loq aꞌwaj, xkinojisaj ri uwachulew, xyaꞌtaj kwinem chike rech keꞌkitiꞌ ri winaq jetaq ri ketyoꞌn ri alakran.
And out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth; they were given power like that of scorpions on the earth.
4 Xbꞌix chike we aꞌwaj riꞌ chi man kakibꞌan ta kꞌax che ri uwachulew, chike ri kꞌacheꞌlaj xuqujeꞌ che ri qꞌayes, xane xwi chike ri man kojtal ta ketal chikipalaj rukꞌ ri retal re ri Dios.
They were told not to hurt the grass of the earth, nor any plant, nor any tree, but only those who have not the seal of God on their foreheads.
5 Ri Dios xuqujeꞌ xuya bꞌe chike we aꞌwaj riꞌ chi kakibꞌan kꞌax chike we winaq jobꞌ ikꞌ, man keꞌkikamisaj taj xane xwi keꞌkitiꞌo, ri kityoꞌbꞌal we awaj riꞌ kajunumataj rukꞌ ri utyoꞌbꞌal ri alakran.
Yet they were not permitted to kill them, but only to torture them for five months. Their torture was like the torture of a scorpion, when it stings a man.
6 Ri winaq pa ri jobꞌ ikꞌ, kakaj na kekamik, man kekam ta kꞌut. Ri kamikal kanimaj na chikiwach.
In those days men will seek death, and will not find it; they will long to die, but death ever flees from them.
7 Ri aꞌwaj jer kebꞌantaj kej ri kekam bꞌik pa chꞌoꞌj. Pa ri kijolom kojtal jujun korona bꞌantal che qꞌana pwaq, ri kipalaj kajunumataj rukꞌ kipalaj winaq.
The appearance of the locusts was like horses equipped for battle. On their heads there was something like crowns of gold, and their faces were like men’s faces,
8 Ri kiwiꞌ kajunumataj rukꞌ ri uwiꞌ jun ixoq, ri kiware kajunumataj rukꞌ ri kiware ri e koj.
and they had hair like the hair of women, and their teeth were like lion’s teeth,
9 Ri uwo taq kikꞌuꞌx chꞌuqtal rukꞌ chꞌuqbꞌal je ri kabꞌantaj chꞌichꞌ. Ri kixikꞌ jer katataj chꞌabꞌal kech sibꞌalaj e kꞌi bꞌinibꞌal kech ajchꞌoꞌjabꞌ are kebꞌe pa chꞌoꞌj.
and they had breastplates something like breastplates of iron; and the noise of their wings was like the noise of chariots, of many horses rushing into battle.
10 Ri kijeꞌ jer kꞌo jun nim kꞌix tzꞌijtzꞌik, rukꞌ waꞌ kakibꞌan kꞌax chike ri winaq jobꞌ ikꞌ.
And they have tails like scorpions, and stings, and their power to torture men five months was in their tails.
11 Ri ángel ubꞌiꞌnam Abadón pa tzijobꞌal hebreo, pa ri tzijobꞌal griego ubꞌiꞌnam Apolión, ri kel kubꞌij tukinel are wa ri kꞌo pa ri qꞌequꞌm jul ri man kꞌo ta ukꞌisik, are waꞌ kꞌamal kibꞌe ri aꞌwaj. (Abyssos g12)
They have a king over them, the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon; in Greek he is called Apollyon. (Abyssos g12)
12 Are waꞌ ri nabꞌe nimalaj kꞌax xkꞌulmatajik, kꞌo chi kꞌu na kebꞌ ri majaꞌ kapetik.
"The first woe has passed; and still there are two woes to follow."
13 Ri uwaq ángel are xuchꞌawisaj ri suꞌ, xinta jun chꞌabꞌal ri xel loq chuxoꞌl ri kajibꞌ ukꞌaꞌ ri kꞌo cho ri tzujbꞌal ri bꞌantal che qꞌana pwaq, ri kꞌo cho ri Dios.
Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet; and I heard a voice from the horns of the golden altar which is before God,
14 Xubꞌij ri chꞌabꞌal che ri ángel ri rukꞌaꞌm ri suꞌ: Chaꞌtzoqopij bꞌik ri e kajibꞌ angelibꞌ ri e jatꞌital chuchiꞌ ri nimalaj nimaꞌ Éufrates.
one saying to the sixth angel that had the trumpet, "Loose the four angels which are bound at the great river Euphrates."
15 Ri uwaq ángel xuꞌtzoqopij ri e kajibꞌ angelibꞌ rech jeriꞌ keꞌkikamisaj ri urox qꞌat ke ri winaq ri e kꞌo cho ri uwachulew, rumal cher ri Dios uꞌyakom loq rech kakibꞌan ri kipatan pa ri qꞌij, ri qꞌotaj, ri ikꞌ xuqujeꞌ ri junabꞌ ri chaꞌtal loq.
Then the four angels that were held in readiness for that hour and day and month and year, were let loose, to destroy a third of mankind.
16 Kꞌa te riꞌ xinta ri kaꞌjilabꞌ ri ajchꞌoꞌjabꞌ chajil tinimit ri kebꞌe chirij kej, are e kebꞌ ciento millón.
The number of the hosts of the horsemen was twice ten thousand times ten thousand. I heard their number;
17 Ri ajchꞌoꞌjabꞌ ri xeꞌnwilo e kejeninaq chirij kej, kikojom kyaq taq chꞌichꞌ cho taq kikꞌuꞌx jetaq ri kakaꞌy ri qꞌaqꞌ, kyaqkoj xuqujeꞌ azufre. Ri kijolom ri kej kajunumataj rukꞌ ri kijolom ri koj, kel loq qꞌaqꞌ rachiꞌl sibꞌ xuqujeꞌ azufre pa kichiꞌ.
and thus I saw the horses in the vision and their riders. They had breastplates of fire, "red as fire, dark blue as jacinth, and yellow as sulphur." The heads of the horses were like lions’ heads, and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
18 Ri urox qꞌat chike konojel ri winaq aꞌjuwachulew xekamik rumal ri qꞌaqꞌ, ri sibꞌ rachiꞌl ri azufre.
By these three plagues a third of mankind were killed; by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which issued from their mouths.
19 Ri kijeꞌ ri kej kajunumataj rukꞌ ri kumatz, rukꞌ ri kijolom kakibꞌan kꞌax chike ri winaq. Ri kikwinem ri kej pa taq ri kichiꞌ kꞌo wiꞌ xuqujeꞌ che ri kijeꞌ.
For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails. For their tails are like serpents with heads, and with them they work woe.
20 Ri winaq ri man xekam taj rumal ri kꞌax ri xkꞌulmatajik xuqujeꞌ man xetaniꞌ taj chubꞌanik ri itzel taq jastaq, man xetaniꞌ taj chuqꞌijilaꞌxik ri itzel, ri e bꞌanom taq tyox ri e bꞌantal che qꞌana pwaq, saq pwaq, qꞌanqꞌoj chꞌichꞌ, abꞌaj, cheꞌ, we jastaq riꞌ xa e bꞌantalik kumal achyabꞌ man kekwin taj kakito, man kekaꞌy taj, man kekwin taj kebꞌinik.
And the rest of mankind who were not killed with these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands. They would not give up the worship of demons and of idols made of gold and silver, and brass, and stone, and wood, which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk.
21 We winaq riꞌ man xkikꞌex ta wi kikꞌuꞌx che ri kamisanik ri kibꞌanom, che ri qꞌijinik, che ri mak kukꞌ taq achyabꞌ xuqujeꞌ ixoqibꞌ, xuqujeꞌ man xkikꞌex ta wi kikꞌuꞌx che ri elaqꞌ kibꞌanom.
And they did not repent of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their immorality, nor of their thefts.
