Judas 1
1 Ri Judas patanil re ri Jesucristo, xuqujeꞌ rachalal ri Jacobo, chike ri e sikꞌital apanoq xuqujeꞌ e loqꞌ pa Dios Tataxel e yaktal pa Jesucristo:
Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, [and] called:
2 Toqꞌobꞌsabꞌal wach, jaꞌmaril xuqujeꞌ loqꞌanik chuya ri Dios chiꞌwe.
Mercy to you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
3 Loqꞌalaj taq wachalal, sibꞌalaj urayim na kꞌuꞌx kintzꞌibꞌaj chiꞌwe chirij ri koltajem ri xyaꞌtaj chaqe. Kawaj kꞌut chi kikoj ichuqꞌabꞌ chujeqebꞌaxik ri ikojobꞌal ri xya chike konojel ri e Tyoxalaj taq winaq.
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write to you concerning the common salvation, it was needful for me to write to you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith, which was once delivered to the saints.
4 Jeriꞌ rumal cher e kꞌi winaq xoꞌk chiꞌxoꞌl, we winaq riꞌ ojer qꞌattal chi loq tzij pa kiwiꞌ rumal cher e rech chi wi ri kꞌax. Itzel taq winaq kakibꞌij chi utz kemakun pa ri utoqꞌobꞌ ri Dios xuqujeꞌ kakawoj ri xa jun kwinel laj Ajawxel Jesucristo.
For certain men have crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5 Pune iwetaꞌm chik ronojel waꞌ we jastaq riꞌ, kawaj kinnaꞌtaj chiꞌwe chi ri Ajawxel are xeꞌresaj loq ri utinimit pa Egipto, xukꞌis kan pa kiwiꞌ ri man xekojon ta che.
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 Xuqujeꞌ ri angelibꞌ ri man xkibꞌan ta ri xbꞌix chike xane xkitzaq kanoq ri kachoch ri yaꞌtal rumal ri Dios, e tzꞌapital pa ri qꞌequꞌmal kamik xaq kayeꞌm ri nimalaj qꞌij are kaqꞌat tzij pa kiwiꞌ. (aïdios g126)
And the angels who kept not their first state, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness to the judgment of the great day. (aïdios g126)
7 Jewaꞌ xuqujeꞌ xkꞌulmataj kukꞌ ri tinimit Sodoma xuqujeꞌ ri tinimit Gomorra xuqujeꞌ ri tinimit ri e kꞌo chikinaqaj jeriꞌ rumal cher xemakunik xkibꞌan mak kukꞌ taq achyabꞌ xuqujeꞌ kukꞌ ixoqibꞌ, xuqujeꞌ xkibꞌan ri man taqal ta ubꞌanik rumal riꞌ ri Dios xutaq loq qꞌaqꞌ pa kiwiꞌ ri man kꞌo ta ukꞌisik. Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to impurity, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
8 Pune jeriꞌ we achyabꞌ riꞌ e bꞌanal taq achikꞌ, kakibꞌan mak rukꞌ ri kityoꞌjal, keꞌketzelaj ri qꞌatal taq tzij xuqujeꞌ kakibꞌij ri awas ubꞌixik chike ri kwinem rech chikajil.
Likewise also these [filthy] dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9 Ri kinimal ri angelibꞌ Miguel man ne xubꞌij ta jun itzel tzij che ri itzel are xechꞌoꞌjin puꞌwiꞌ ri utyoꞌjal ri Moisés, man xuqꞌat ta tzij puꞌwiꞌ rukꞌ kꞌaxal xane xwi xubꞌij che: “¡Are ri Ajawxel Dios chatyajowoq!”
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10 Are kꞌu we winaq riꞌ, kakibꞌij ri awas ubꞌixik che ronojel ri man kakichꞌobꞌ taj. Jer e kꞌo ri awajibꞌ kakibꞌan ri kubꞌij ri kichomabꞌal chike, rumal waꞌ kakꞌis na tzij pa kiwiꞌ.
But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 ¡Kꞌax kech rumal cher xkitereneꞌj ri ubꞌe ri Caín! Xkibꞌan kech jetaq ri xubꞌan ri Balaam xkikꞌam pwaq tojbꞌal rech ubꞌanik ri etzelal, man xeniman taj jetaq ri xubꞌan ri Coré.
Woe to them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and run greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 We winaq riꞌ e chꞌuluj ri kekꞌojiꞌ pa ri iriqoj ibꞌ, man kakimochꞌ ta kibꞌ xaq aꞌreꞌ kakiyuqꞌuj kibꞌ, jer e kꞌo ri sutzꞌ ri man kꞌo ta jabꞌ chupam e kꞌamtal bꞌik rumal ri kyaqiqꞌ kepaqiꞌk kexuliꞌk. Jer e kꞌo ri cheꞌ ri man kawachin taj, kebꞌ mul e kaminaq, kejunumataj rukꞌ ri cheꞌ ri man tikil ta chi ri ukꞌaꞌmal pa ri ulew.
These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds [they are] without water, carried about by winds; withered autumnal trees, without fruit, twice dead, plucked out by the roots;
13 Kejunumataj rukꞌ ri jaꞌ re ri plo man kakꞌix taj karesaj loq ri uwusuw ri ukꞌixibꞌal. Jer e kꞌo ri chꞌumil ri man ketaꞌm taj jaw kebꞌe wi, we winaq riꞌ e yaktalik rech kekꞌyaq bꞌik pa ri nimalaj qꞌequꞌmal. (aiōn g165)
Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. (aiōn g165)
14 Are waꞌ ri xutzijoj loq ri Enoc, wuqubꞌ qꞌalajisal tzij xchapleꞌtaj loq rajilaxik rukꞌ ri Adán, xubꞌij: “Chiwilampeꞌ, ri Ajawxel kape na e rachiꞌl sibꞌalaj e kꞌi u angelibꞌ.
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15 Rech kuluqꞌata tzij pa kiwiꞌ konojel ri winaq ri itzel taq winaq, xuqujeꞌ che ronojel ri itzel taq chak ri kibꞌanom xuqujeꞌ ri kibꞌim kꞌaxa taq tzij che.”
To execute judgment upon all, and to convict all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have impiously committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 We winaq riꞌ kakibꞌij itzel taq tzij pa kanimaꞌ, are kakitereneꞌj ri itzel taq kirayinik, nimal chike, keꞌkitaqchiꞌj nikꞌaj chik chubꞌanik mak rech kakikꞌamawaꞌj ri kakaj.
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling [words], having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
17 Ri ix kꞌut loqꞌalaj taq wachalal, naꞌtaj chiꞌwe ri tzij ri xkitzijoj loq ri e taqoꞌn rech ri Ajawxel Jesucristo,
But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 xkibꞌij: “Pa taq ri kꞌisbꞌal taq qꞌij kepe na winaq ri xaq aꞌj yoqꞌolobꞌ, ri are kakitereneꞌj na ri itzel taq kirayinik.”
That they told you there would be mockers in the last time, who would walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 Are waꞌ ri kekojow chꞌoꞌj chikixoꞌl ri alaxik rech keꞌkiqꞌat bꞌik, xuqujeꞌ are kakibꞌan ri urayibꞌal kikꞌuꞌx, rumal cher man kꞌo ta ri Uxlabꞌixel pa kanimaꞌ.
These are they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 Are kꞌu ri ix loqꞌalaj taq wachalal, chixjeqeloq pa ri uloqꞌanik ri Dios, chixkꞌiyoq pa ri Tyoxalaj kojobꞌal xuqujeꞌ chibꞌana chꞌawem pa ri Tyoxalaj Uxlabꞌixel, rech jeriꞌ kiwayeꞌj chi ri Ajawxel Jesucristo pa ri utoqꞌobꞌ kuya na chiꞌwe kꞌaslemal ri maj ukꞌisik. (aiōnios g166)
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying by the Holy Spirit,
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
22 Chitoqꞌobꞌisaj kiwach ri winaq ri kubꞌan kebꞌ kikꞌuꞌx.
And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 Chiꞌtoꞌ nikꞌaj chik rech man kebꞌe ta pa ri qꞌaqꞌ. Chel ikꞌuꞌx chike nikꞌaj chik, xuqujeꞌ chiwetzelaj ri atzꞌyaq ri uchꞌulujim ri winaq rukꞌ ri utyoꞌjal.
And others save with fear, pulling [them] out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Che ri xa jun sibꞌalaj kwinel ri kixchajinik rech man kixqaj taj pa mak xuqujeꞌ rech kixujacho man rukꞌ ta chꞌulujil cho ri ujuluwem, rukꞌ nimalaj kiꞌkotemal.
Now to him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 Che ri xa jun Dios ri kꞌo retaꞌmabꞌal, ri qakolonel yaꞌtal wiꞌ juluwem, qꞌijilaꞌnem, kwinem, pa Jesucristo, ri Ajawxel rech nabꞌe kanoq, rech kamik xuqujeꞌ rech chibꞌe qꞌij saq. Jeriꞌ. (aiōn g165)
To God the only wise, our Savior, [be] glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
