1 Rumal kꞌu riꞌ, man xwi ta bꞌa kaqilij ri nabꞌe taq kꞌutuꞌn ri xya chaqe chirij ri Cristo xane joꞌ chiqawach. Man are ta chi bꞌa kaqatzalij ubꞌixik ri nabꞌe taq jastaq jetaq ri chꞌekoj koltajem rukꞌ ri chak ri xaq kamikal kukꞌam loq, ri kojonik chirij ri Dios,
Therfor we bringinge in a word of the bigynnyng of Crist, be we borun to the perfeccioun of hym, not eftsoone leggynge the foundement of penaunce fro deed werkis, and of the feith to God,
2 ri ucholajil chirij ri qasanaꞌ, ri yaꞌoj qꞌabꞌaj pa kiwiꞌ ri winaq, ri kꞌastajibꞌal kiwach ri kaminaqibꞌ xuqujeꞌ ri qꞌatoj tzij ri man kꞌo ta ukꞌisik. (aiōnios g166)

3 Ronojel waꞌ kaqabꞌano we kuya bꞌe ri Dios chaqe.
And this thing we schulen do, if God schal suffre.

For the erthe that drinkith reyn ofte comynge on it, and bringith forth couenable erbe to hem of whiche it is tilid, takith blessing of God.

But that that is bringinge forth thornes and breris, is repreuable, and next to curs, whos endyng schal be in to brennyng.
9 Are kꞌu ri ix loqꞌalaj taq wachalal, pune jeriꞌ kaqabꞌij chiꞌwe, uchapom qakꞌuꞌx chi man ixtanalinaq taj che ri ikojonem, we riꞌ sibꞌalaj utz kubꞌan chiꞌwe rech jeriꞌ kixkolotajik.

that ye be not maad slowe, but also sueris of hem, whiche bi feith and pacience schulen enherite the biheestis.
13 Rumal cher are taq xubꞌij loq ri Dios che ri Abraham, in katintewechiꞌj na. Rumal kꞌu che ri man kꞌo ta jun rukꞌ kubꞌan wi ri chꞌekom tzij, xubꞌan ri chꞌekom tzij rukꞌ areꞌ pa utukel.
For God bihetinge to Abraham, for he hadde noon grettere, bi whom he schulde swere, swoor bi hym silf,

17 Rumal riꞌ ri Dios rumal chi karaj kukꞌut chikiwach ri eꞌchanel chi ri bꞌiꞌtal loq man kꞌo ta jun kakꞌexowik, rumal riꞌ xubꞌan ri chꞌekom tzij.
In which thing God willynge to schewe plenteuouslier to the eiris of his biheest the sadnesse of his counsel,
18 Jeriꞌ xubꞌano rech rumal ri bꞌiꞌtal loq xuqujeꞌ ri chꞌekom tzij, are waꞌ kebꞌ jastaq ri man kakꞌexetaj ta wi, rumal cher ri Dios man kubꞌan ta bꞌanoj tzij. Waꞌ we riꞌ kuya ukuꞌlibꞌal qakꞌuꞌx rumal cher are kaqaj chi ri Dios kujuchajij, xuqujeꞌ qas kuꞌl wi qakꞌuꞌx chi kuya na chaqe ri ubꞌim loq.
puttide bitwixe an ooth, that bi twey thingis vnmeuable, bi whiche it is impossible that God lie, we han a strengeste solace, `we that fleen togidere to holde the hope that is put forth to vs.
19 Waꞌ we riꞌ qas kubꞌan chaqe chi qas kakubꞌiꞌ qakꞌuꞌx jacha ta ne ri jun jukubꞌ bꞌinibꞌal puꞌwiꞌ ri jaꞌ ko xekelik rumal cher ko xeketal rumal ri chꞌichꞌ ri qajinaq pa ri jaꞌ, jewaꞌ ri kꞌulibꞌal kuꞌx ri kok bꞌik chirij ri tasbꞌal ri kꞌo pa ri Ja Qꞌijilaꞌbꞌal Dios.
