1 Ri Pablo, taqoꞌn man kech ta winaq xuqujeꞌ man winaq taj taqowinaq, xane rumal are ri Jesucristo xuqujeꞌ rech ri Dios Tataxel ri xkꞌastajisan ri Jesucristo chikixoꞌl ri kaminaqibꞌ.
PAUL the apostle (not sent from men, nor by man, but by Jesus Christ, and our Father who raised him from the dead),
2 Konojel ri alaxik ri e kꞌo wukꞌ, kakitaq rutzil kiwach ri e komontyox ri e kꞌo pa ri tinimit Galacia:
and all the brethren with me, to the churches of Galatia:
3 Are ri qatat Dios xuqujeꞌ ri Ajawxel Jesucristo cheyoꞌw jaꞌmaril xuqujeꞌ toqꞌobꞌ chiꞌwe.
grace unto you, and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ;
4 Ri Jesucristo xujach ribꞌ xa rumal ri qamak rech jeriꞌ xujresaj chuxeꞌ raqan uqꞌabꞌ ri uwachulew rech we qꞌij junabꞌ, are waꞌ ri rayibꞌal ukꞌuꞌx ri qatat Dios. (aiōn g165)
who gave himself for our sins, that he might pluck us out of this present wicked world, according to the will of God and our Father: (aiōn g165)
to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
6 Sibꞌalaj kinmayijanik rumal chi aninaq xitzaq kanoq ri xixsikꞌin apanoq pa ri utoqꞌobꞌ ri Cristo rech xitereneꞌj chik ri jer kabꞌantaj jun utz laj tzij chik.
I marvel that ye are so quickly departed from him that called you, by the grace of Christ into another gospel
7 Man kel ta kubꞌij chi kꞌo chi jun utz laj tzij, xane xa e kꞌo chi nikꞌaj winaq ri kakaj kix kisubꞌu rech jeriꞌ kakikꞌex ubꞌixik ri utz laj utzij ri Cristo.
which is not another; but there are certain persons who trouble you, and desire to pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 We kꞌu ne kꞌo jun chaqe uj, o jun ángel rech chikaj kutzijoj chi jun utz laj tzij chiꞌwe ri man are ta ri qatzijom uj chiꞌwe, chetzelataj uwach.
But though even we, or an angel from heaven, preach unto you another gospel, different from that which we have preached to you, let him be an anathema.
9 Jetaq ri qabꞌim chik chiꞌwe: We kꞌo ne jun kutzijoj jun utz laj tzij chik chiꞌwe ri man are ta xqatzijoj chiꞌwe, qaj kꞌax puꞌwiꞌ.
As we have before spoken, and I now repeat it again, If any man preach a gospel different from that ye have received, let him be anathema.
10 ¿Jas kꞌu kawaj rukꞌ we riꞌ? ¿La are kꞌu kawaj kinqaj chikiwach ri winaq, o rech kinqaj cho ri Dios? ¿Teꞌq piꞌkꞌuꞌx ix are kawaj kinqaj chikiwach nikꞌaj chik? We kinqaj chikiwach ri winaq, man in rajchak ta bꞌa ri Cristo riꞌ.
For do I now use persuasions from men, or from God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 Wachalal, kawaj kiwetaꞌmaj chi ri utz laj tzij ri kintzijoj in, man winaq taj tikowinaq loq.
But I give you to understand, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not a merely human ministry.
12 Man rukꞌ ta winaq xinwetaꞌmaj wi xuqujeꞌ man che ta winaq xinkꞌamawaꞌj wi, xane tzi are ri Jesucristo xkꞌutuw chinuwach.
For I neither received it from man, nor was taught, but by immediate revelation from Jesus Christ.
13 Jeriꞌ rumal iwetaꞌm jas jeꞌ kinnoꞌjin kanoq nabꞌe are in kꞌo chikixoꞌl ri winaq aꞌj Israel, are xwaj xinbꞌan kꞌax che ri ukomontyox ri Dios, rech kakꞌis puꞌwiꞌ.
For ye have heard of my former manner of life, when I professed Judaism, that in the most outrageous manner I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
14 Are xinkꞌojiꞌ kukꞌ ri winaq aꞌj Israel in kꞌo na chikiwach ri e wachiꞌl pa ri nukojobꞌal, qas nim xinbꞌan chi rilik ri kinaqꞌatajibꞌal ri nutat nunan.
and signalized myself in Judaism above many of those of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly a zealot for the traditions of my fathers.
15 Pune jeriꞌ, ri Dios xinuchaꞌo are in kꞌo chupam ri nunan, xinusikꞌij apanoq pa ri utoqꞌobꞌ.
But when it pleased God, who selected me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace,
16 Xuqꞌalajisaj ri Ukꞌojol chinuwach rech jeriꞌ kintzijoj chike ri winaq ri man aꞌj Israel taj, man nabꞌe taj xinta che jachinaq.
to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach the glad tidings of him to the nations, immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood,
17 Man xinpaqiꞌ ta xuqujeꞌ pa Jerusalén chutayik chike ri e nabꞌe taq taqoꞌn chinuwach, xane xintzalij pa Arabia, kꞌa te riꞌ xineꞌ chik pa Damasco.
nor went up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
18 Are xikꞌow oxibꞌ junabꞌ, kꞌa te riꞌ xinpaqiꞌ pa Jerusalén xeꞌnsolij ri Pedro, xinkanaj kan rukꞌ oꞌlajuj qꞌij.
Afterwards at the expiration of three years I went up unto Jerusalem to pay a visit to Peter, and I abode with him fifteen days.
19 Man xinwil ta chi jun chike ri e taqoꞌn chilaꞌ xaq xwi ri Jacobo ri rachalal ri Ajawxel Jesús.
But I saw no other of the apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.
20 Qas karil ri Dios chi man bꞌanoj tzij ta ri tajin kinbꞌij chiꞌwe.
Now respecting the things which I write unto you, behold, in the presence of God, I lie not.
21 Kꞌa te riꞌ xineꞌ pa taq ri tinimit rech Siria xuqujeꞌ Cilicia.
Afterwards I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
22 Ri e komontyox kꞌut ri e kꞌo pa Cristo je laꞌ pa Judea man ketaꞌm ta nuwach che riꞌ.
and I was personally unknown to the churches of Judea, which are in Christ:
23 Xwi kitom ri kakibꞌij ri winaq: Ri achi ri xubꞌan kan kꞌax chaqe nabꞌe, kutzijoj chi ri kojobꞌal ri xraj xuchup uwach.
only they had heard, that he who persecuted us in time past, now preaches the faith which he once laid waste.
24 Kakiya kꞌu uqꞌij ri Dios rumal we.
And they glorified God on my behalf.
