< 2 Corintios 5 >
1 Qetaꞌm kꞌut chi we qatyoꞌjal ri uj kꞌo wi, jer kꞌo jun ja ri utz katukixik, kasach uwach, kꞌo jun qachoch yaktal chilaꞌ chikaj. Man uqꞌabꞌ ta winaq bꞌanowinaq xuqujeꞌ man kasach ta uwach. (aiōnios )
For we know that, when our earthly house of this habitation is dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in heaven. (aiōnios )
2 Rumal kꞌu waꞌ kujbꞌisbꞌatij, kaqarayij chi ri qatyoꞌjal kakꞌexkꞌobꞌ bꞌik cho ri qatyoꞌjal rech chilaꞌ chikaj.
And for this reason also, we groan, desiring to be clothed from above with our habitation from heaven.
3 Rumal cher we kakoj bꞌik ri qatzꞌyaq rech chikajil man ujchꞌanal ta chi riꞌ.
If we are so clothed, then we will not be found to be naked.
4 Rumal cher uj ri kꞌa uj kꞌo na pa we qatyoꞌjal, kujbꞌisonik, rumal cher man kaqaj taj chi xa kesax kanoq ri qatzꞌyaq xane are kaqaj kakoj bꞌik rech jeriꞌ ri kamikal kasachisax uwach rumal ri kꞌaslemal ri man kꞌo ta ukꞌisik.
Then too, we who are in this tabernacle groan under the burden, because we do not want to be stripped, but rather to be clothed from above, so that what is mortal may be absorbed by life.
5 Are ri Dios jewaꞌ xbꞌanow chaqe, xuqujeꞌ xuya ri Tyoxalaj Uxlabꞌixel chukꞌutik chi qas kubꞌan na ri ubꞌim loq chaqe.
Now the One who accomplishes this very thing in us is God, who has given us the pledge of the Spirit.
6 Xaq jeriꞌ kuꞌl qakꞌuꞌx xuqujeꞌ qetaꞌm chi we uj kꞌo pa we tyoꞌjal majaꞌ kujopan riꞌ rukꞌ ri Dios.
Therefore, we are ever confident, knowing that, while we are in the body, we are on a pilgrimage in the Lord.
7 Rumal ri kojobꞌal uj kꞌaslik man rumal ta ri kaqilo.
For we walk by means of faith, and not by sight.
8 Xaq jeriꞌ kuꞌl qakꞌuꞌx, kurayij ri qanimaꞌ we ta mat uj kꞌo chi pa we qatyoꞌjal xane uj kꞌo ta chi ne rukꞌ ri Ajawxel.
So we are confident, and we have the good will to be on a pilgrimage in the body, so as to be present to the Lord.
9 Rumal riꞌ kaqakoj qachuqꞌabꞌ, rech pune uj kꞌo pa ri qatyoꞌjal o wine uj elinaq xuqujeꞌ bꞌik, kujqaj cho ri Dios.
And thus we struggle, whether absent or present, to please him.
10 Rumal cher tzi choqꞌaqꞌ wi kujopan na cho ri uqꞌatbꞌal tzij ri Cristo, rech jeriꞌ kayaꞌtaj chi kijujunal ri kataqiꞌ chike, jas na kꞌu ri xuchakuj jun pa ri utyoꞌjal we utz o man utz taj.
For it is necessary for us to be manifested before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive the proper things of the body, according to his behavior, whether it was good or evil.
11 Rumal kꞌu che ri qetaꞌm ri mochꞌoj ibꞌ cho ri Dios, keꞌqabꞌochiꞌj konojel ri winaq rech jeriꞌ xuqujeꞌ kakibꞌano, pune retaꞌm ri Dios ri kujuxik, kinwayeꞌj xuqujeꞌ chi qas kichꞌobꞌo ri rajawaxik kibꞌano.
Therefore, having knowledge of the fear of the Lord, we appeal to men, but we are made manifest before God. Yet I hope, too, that we may be made manifest in your consciences.
12 Man kaqabꞌij ta we riꞌ rech kujikꞌamawaꞌj, xane kaqabꞌij chiꞌwe rech nim kinaꞌo che ri kaqabꞌano, jeriꞌ iwetaꞌm qas kibꞌij chike ri winaq ri kakinaꞌ nimal rumal ri kebꞌantajik, man rumal ta ri kꞌo pa qanimaꞌ.
We are not commending ourselves again to you, but rather we are presenting you with an opportunity to glory because of us, when you deal with those who glory in face, and not in heart.
13 We uj konarinaq, uj konarinaq rumal rech ri Dios; xuqujeꞌ we man uj konarinaq riꞌ xa rumal iwe.
For if we are excessive in mind, it is for God; but if we are sober, it is for you.
14 Are ri uloqꞌanik ri Cristo kujtaqchiꞌnik chubꞌanik we riꞌ, jeriꞌ rumal cher uchapom qakꞌuꞌx chi xa jun xkamik kumal ke konojel, rumal riꞌ konojel xekamik.
For the charity of Christ urges us on, in consideration of this: that if one died for all, then all have died.
15 Are ri Cristo xkamik kumal ke konojel ri winaq, rech jeriꞌ ri kekꞌasiꞌk man kekꞌasiꞌ taj xaq chupatanixik kibꞌ aꞌreꞌ, xane kakipatanij ri xkamik xuqujeꞌ xkꞌastaj uwach kumal ke.
And Christ died for all, so that even those who live might not now live for themselves, but for him who died for them and who rose again.
16 Xaq jeriꞌ man are ta keꞌqil ri winaq pa ri kityoꞌjal pune uj xqil ri Cristo pa ri utyoꞌjal, man je ta chi riꞌ kaqabꞌan chuchꞌobꞌik uwach.
And so, from now on, we know no one according to the flesh. And though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know him in this way no longer.
17 Xaq jeriꞌ we kꞌo jun pa Cristo, jun kꞌakꞌ winaq chik ri qꞌeꞌl taq jastaq xikꞌow kanoq, ronojel xbꞌantaj kꞌakꞌ che.
So if anyone is a new creature in Christ, what is old has passed away. Behold, all things have been made new.
18 Ronojel we jastaq riꞌ che ri Dios petinaq wi, are ri Dios rumal ri Jesús xujrutzirisaj rukꞌ areꞌ, xuqujeꞌ xuya chaqe chi kaqatzijoj chike nikꞌaj chik we utz laj taq tzij riꞌ.
But all is of God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ, and who has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
19 Ri Dios pa Cristo xeꞌrutzirisaj rukꞌ Areꞌ ri winaq rech ri uwachulew, man are ta xril ri kimak, xuqujeꞌ xuchilibꞌej chaqe uj chi kaqatzijoj ri utz laj taq tzij.
For certainly God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not charging them with their sins. And he has placed in us the Word of reconciliation.
20 Xaq jeriꞌ ujutaqoꞌn ri Dios, jer ta ne tzi are Dios kachꞌaw chiqachiꞌ uj kubꞌij chiꞌwe ri rajawaxik kibꞌano. Rumal riꞌ kaqata chiꞌwe puꞌbꞌiꞌ ri Dios chixutziroq rukꞌ ri Dios.
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, so that God is exhorting through us. We beseech you for Christ: be reconciled to God.
21 Ri man xretaꞌmaj ta wi mak, qumal qe je xbꞌan ajmak chech, rech jeriꞌ ri uj kujuxik sukꞌ cho ri Ajawxel Dios pa Cristo.
For God made him who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the justice of God in him.
