< 1 Corintios 13 >

1 We ta kinkwinik kintzijon pa juleꞌ taq tzijobꞌal chik, xuqujeꞌ pa tzijobꞌal rech chikajil, man kinloqꞌan ta kꞌut, kinjunumataj riꞌ rukꞌ ri chꞌichꞌ ri kaxojlinik o jetaq jun palatiꞌy ri kaqꞌojomaxik.
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 We ta yaꞌtal chwe ri sipanik rech qꞌalajisan tzij rech ri Dios, xuqujeꞌ we ta wetaꞌm ronojel uwach etaꞌmanik, xuqujeꞌ we ta kꞌo nukojobꞌal ri kakwinik kusalabꞌaj taq juyubꞌ, maj kꞌu loqꞌanik pa wanimaꞌ, maj kinux riꞌ.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.
3 We kinjach chike ri mebꞌaibꞌ ronojel ri kꞌo wukꞌ, xuqujeꞌ kinjach ri nutyoꞌjal rech kakꞌatisax pa ri qꞌaqꞌ, maj kꞌu loqꞌanik pa ri wanimaꞌ, maj kinchꞌek riꞌ che ri kinbꞌano.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Ri loqꞌanik man kaqꞌiꞌtaj ta che ayeꞌnik, kasipanik, ri loqꞌanik man kꞌax ta kunaꞌ che jun chik, man kubꞌananej ta rukꞌ ri ujastaq ri kꞌolik, xuqujeꞌ man nimal taj kunaꞌo.
Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Man kubꞌij ta kꞌax taq tzij, man xaq xwi ta karilij ribꞌ areꞌ, man aninaq taj kayojtajik, xuqujeꞌ man kuyak ta kꞌax pa ranimaꞌ.
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Ri loqꞌanik man kakiꞌkot taj pa ri etzelal, xane kakiꞌkot pa ri qas tzij.
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Ronojel kukuyu, ronojel kukojo, ronojel karayeꞌj, ronojel kuqꞌiꞌo.
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 Ri loqꞌanik man kasach ta uwach. Are kꞌu ri qꞌalajisan tzij kataniꞌ na, ri tzijonem pa juleꞌ ta tzijobꞌal chik kasach na uwach, xuqujeꞌ ri sipanik rech etaꞌmanik, kasach na uwach.
Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 Rumal cher xaq jubꞌiqꞌ qetaꞌm xuqujeꞌ xaq jubꞌiqꞌ kaqaqꞌalajisaj.
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 Are kꞌu we xpe ri qas sukꞌ ubꞌanik, kasach na uwach ri man sukꞌ taj ubꞌanik.
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 Are in akꞌal na, jer xintzijon akꞌal, jer xinchoman akꞌal, xinqꞌat tzij puꞌwiꞌ ri jastaq jetaq jun akꞌal. Are kꞌu xinux achi, xintzaq kanoq ronojel ri kubꞌan jun akꞌal.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 Chanim kꞌut man qas ta kaqil uwach ri Dios, xaq je kaqilo jacha ta ne are kaqil ri qapalaj pa jun kaꞌyebꞌal; kape kꞌu na ri qꞌij are kaqil qibꞌ rukꞌ ri Dios. Chanim kꞌut wetaꞌm ri man qas ta tzꞌaqat ubꞌanik, kape kꞌu na ri qꞌij are kinwetaꞌmaj na jas ri xbꞌan chi retaꞌmaxik nuwach in.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 Kamik kꞌut xaq xwi kekanaj kanoq we oxibꞌ jastaq riꞌ: ri kojobꞌal, ri kuꞌlibꞌal kuꞌx xuqujeꞌ ri loqꞌanik. Ri loqꞌanik are sibꞌalaj nim chike kojonel.
And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
