< Bharumi 5 >
1 kulwo kubha chabhaliywe obhulengelesi mu njila ye likilisha, chili no mulembe na Nyamuanga ku njila ya Latabhugenyi weswe Yesu Kristo.
Therefore, having been pronounced righteous as the result of faith, let us enjoy peace with God through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
2 Okulabha ku mwene eswe one chili no mwanya mu njila ye likilisha mu chigongo chinu munda yaye echimelegulu. nichikondelwa mu bhubhasi bhunu Nyamuanga achiyaye kulwo kubha obhubhasi bhunu chilisangila mwikusho Lya Nyamuanga.
It is through him that, by reason of our faith, we have obtained admission to that place in God’s favor in which we now stand. So let us exult in our hope of attaining God’s glorious ideal.
3 Litali linwila, nawe one echikondelelwa mu nyako jeswe. Chimenyele ati jinyako ejibhula obhwigumilisha.
And not only that, but let us also exult in our troubles;
4 Obhwigumilisha obhwibhula okwikilisibhwa, no kwikilisibhwa okwibhula obhubhasi kwo mwanya gunu ogulubha.
for we know that trouble develops endurance, and endurance strength of character, and strength of character hope,
5 Obhubhasi bhunu bhutakwita mutima, kulwa insonga okwenda kwa Nyamuanga kwetiliywe mu mitima jeswe okulabha ku Mwoyo Mwelu, unu asosibhwe kweswe.
and that hope never disappoints. For the love of God has filled our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given us;
6 Kulwo kubha Anu chaliga chitana managa, kwo mwanya gunu gwiile Kristo afuye kulwe bhibhibhi.
seeing that, while we were still powerless, Christ, in God’s good time, died on behalf of the godless.
7 Kulwo kubha echibha chikomee oumwi okufwa ingulu yo munu omulengelesi. Jinu ni ati, amwi omunu atakeile kufwa ingulu yo munu we kisi.
Even for an upright person scarcely anyone will die. For a really good person perhaps someone might even dare to die.
8 Mbe nawe Nyamuanga akomelesishe okwenda kwae omwene kwiswe, kulwa insonga mu mwanya gunu chaliga chichali bhanu bhe bhikayo, Kristo afuye ingulu yeswe.
But God puts his love for us beyond all doubt by the fact that Christ died on our behalf while we were still sinners.
9 Okumala ingulu ya gona ago, woli kulwo kubha chabhaliywe obhulengelesi mu manyinga gae, chilikisibhwa kulwejo okusoka mu bhinyiga bya Nyamuanga.
Much more, then, now that we have been pronounced righteous by virtue of the shedding of his blood, will we be saved through him from the wrath of God.
10 Kulwo kubha, Alabha mu mwanya gunu chaliga bhasoko, chagwatanyisibhwe na Nyamuanga ku njila yo lufu Lwo mwana wae, kwiya kafu, chikaja chikamala okugwatanyisibhwa, mbe chilikisibhwa mu bhulame bhwae.
For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, much more, now that we have become reconciled, will we be saved by virtue of Christ’s life.
11 Atali kutyo ela, nawe one echikondelwa mu Nyamuanga okulabha mu Latabhugenyi Yesu Kristo, okulabha ku mwene unu woli chilamiye obhugwatanyisho bhunu.
And not only that, but we exult in God, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, through whom we have now obtained this reconciliation.
12 Mbe kulwejo, alabha okulabha ku munu umwi echibhibhi chengie muchalo, mu njila inu olufu nilwingila mu njila ye chibhibhi. No lufu niluswila ku bhanu bhona, kulwa insonga eyo bhona bhakolele echibhibhi.
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and through sin came death; so, also, death spread to all humanity, because every person has sinned.
13 Kulwo kubha okukinga ku bhilagilo, echibhibhi chaliga mu Chalo, nawe echibhibhi chitakubhalwa mu mwanya bhitalio bhilagilo.
Even before the time of the Law there was sin in the world; but sin cannot be charged against someone where no Law exists.
14 Nolwo kutyo, olufu lwatungile okusoka ku Adamu likings ku Musa, nolwo ingulu ya bhalya bhanu bhatakolele chibhibhi kuti okulema okwolobha kwa Adamu, unu ali chijejekanyo cho mwene unu akejile.
Yet, from Adam to Moses, death reigned even over those whose sin was not a breach of a law, as Adam’s was. And Adam foreshadows the one to come.
15 Mbe nawe nolwo kutyo, echiyanwa cha kutyo- ela chitali uti chikayo. Kulwo kubha likabha Lili ekosa lwo munu umwi bhafu bhafuye, muno muno echigongo cha Nyamuanga ne chiyanwa ku chigongo cho munu umwi, Yesu Kristo, cheyongesishe kubha chafu ku bhafu.
But there is a contrast between Adam’s offense and God’s gracious gift. For, if by reason of the offense of the one man the whole human race died, far more were the loving kindness of God, and the gift given in the loving kindness of the one man, Jesus Christ, lavished on the whole human race.
16 Kulwo kubha echiyanwa chitali lwa chiliya chinu ulya akolele echibhibhi. Kulwo kubha ku lubhala lundi, indamu ye bhinyiga yejile kulwa insonga ye chikayo cho munu umwi. Nawe ku lubhala lundi, ne chiyanwa cha kutyo-ela chinu echisoka mu kubhalilwa obhulengelesi chejile bhyakolekele ebhibhibhi bhyafu.
There is a contrast, too, between the gift and the results of the one man’s sin. The judgment, which followed on the one man’s sin, resulted in condemnation, but God’s gracious gift, which followed on many offenses, resulted in a decree of righteousness.
17 Ku nsonga, jikabha ku chikayo cho munu umwi, olufu lwatungile okulabha ku umwi, muno muno kwiya kafu bhalya bhanu abhalamila echigongo chafu amwi ne chiyanwa cho bhulengelesi bhalitunga kwo kulabha mu bhulame bhwo umwi, Yesu Kristo.
For if, by reason of the offense of the one man, death reigned through that one man, far more will those, on whom God’s loving kindness and his gift of righteousness are lavished, find life, and reign through the one man, Jesus Christ.
18 Kulwejo, okulabha kwe chikayo chimwi abhanu bhona bhejile ku ndamu, nakabhee okulabha ku chikolwa chimwi cho bhulengelesi kwejile okubhalilwa obhulengelesi bhwo bhulame ku bhanu bhona.
Briefly then, just as a single offense resulted for all humanity in condemnation, so, too, a single decree of righteousness resulted for all humanity in that declaration of righteousness which brings life.
19 Kwo kubha kwo okulema okwolobha kwo munu umwi bhafu bhakolelwe kubha bhe bhibhibhi, kwibyo kwo okwolobha kwo oumwi bhafu abhakolwa kubha bhalengelesi.
For, as through the disobedience of the one man the whole human race was rendered sinful, so, too, through the obedience of the one, the whole human race will be rendered righteous.
20 Mbe nawe echilagilo chengie amwi, koleleki ati echikayo echo chiswile. Nawe mu mabhala ganu echikayo cheyongesishe kubha chafu, echigongo cheyongesishe kwiya kafu.
Law was introduced in order that offenses might be multiplied. But, where sins were multiplied, the loving kindness of God was lavished the more,
21 Chinu chabhonekene koleleki ati lwa kutyo echikayo chatungile olufu, ni kwo kutiyo ne chigongo echitula okutunga okulabha mu bhulengelesi ingulu yo bhulame bhwa kajanende okulabha ku Yesu Kristo Latabhugenyi weswe. (aiōnios )
in order that, just as sin had reigned in the realm of death, so, too, might loving-kindness reign through righteousness, and result in eternal life, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. (aiōnios )
