1 Ku Malaika wa Likanisa Lya Sardi yandika: 'Emisango ja uliya unu agwatiliye jilya emyoyo musanju eja Nyamuanga na jinjota musanju. “Enimenya chinu oukola. uli no lususo lwo kubha muanga mbe nawe, uli mufuye.
And to the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name, that thou livest, and art dead.
2 Imuka na ukomeshe ganu gasagile, mbe nawe gali yei okufwa, kunsonga nitabhibwene ebhikolwa bhyao bhikumiye mu meso ga Nyamuanga wani.
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
3 Kulwejo, nuwichuke, jiliya jinu walamiye no kungwa. Nuwolobhe no kuta. Mbe nawe ukalema okwimuka, enija lwo mwifi, na utakumenya ni mwanya ki gunu enikujako.
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
4 Mbe nawe galio amasina matoto aga bhanu bhanu bhali Sardi bhanu bhatajijabhishe emyenda jebhwe. Abho nibho abhalibhata amwi nanye, bhafwaye emyenda jimwela kobho, kunsonga bhejile.
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
5 Mbe unu kaiga kafwafibhwa ebhifwalo bhimwela kobho, na koto nitakulisimya Lisina lyaye okusoka mu chitabho cho bhuanga, na enilibhilikila lisina lyaye imbele ya Lata wani, na imbele ya Bhamalaika.
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6 Alabha uli no kutwi, tegelesha jinu Mwoyo kutyo kagabhwila amakanisa.”
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.
7 “Ku Malaika owa Likanisa elya Philadefia yandika: Emisango ja unu ali mulengelesi na ali we chimali-unu ali na jifungulujo ja Daudi, na kegula na atalio unu kegala, kegala na atalio unu katula okwigula.
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth:
8 Enimenya chinu ukolele. Lola, nikuteleyeo imbele yao omulyango gunu gwigukile gunu atalio unu katula ogugwigala. Nimenyele ati uli na managa matoto mbe nawe ugwolobhee omusango gwani na utakulilema lisina lyani.
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9 Lola! bhona bhanu bhali mulikofyanyisho lya Shetani, bhanu abhaika ati bhenene ni Bhayaudi Kasi tikwo kutyo, kukila ejo abhajiga-jiga. Enibhakola bhaje no kulamya imbele ya magulu gao, na mbamenya ati naliga nikwendele.
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
10 Kulwo kubha ubhibhikile ebhilagilo bhyani kwo bhwigumilisha kwe chimali, enikulinda one mu mwanya gwao ogwo kulegejibhwa gunu oguja mu Chalo chona, okubhalegeja bhaliya bhona bhanu bhekaye mu chalo.
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Enija bhwangu. Nugwatilile muno chinu uli nacho koleleki asiga kubhao munu owo kugega olutenga lwao.
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
12 Enimukola unu kaiga kubha ing'ingi mu Yekalu ya Nyamuanga wani, na atakusokamo koto. Enilyandika ku mwene lisina Lya Nyamuanga wani, lisina lyo musi gwa Nyamuanga wani (Yelusalemu nyaya, gunu ogwika okusoka mu lwile ku Nyamuanga wani), ne Sina lyani eyaya.
Him that overcometh, will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out no more: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, [which is] new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and [I will write upon him] my new name.
13 Omwene unu ali no kutwi, nongwe chinu Mwoyo kaika ku MaKanisa.'
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.
14 “Ku Malaika wa Likanisa elya Laodikia yandika: 'Emisango jaye unu ali Amina, unu ali wo kwimako no mubhambasi Mwiikanyibhwa, mutungi ingulu yo bhumogi bhwa Nyamuanga.
And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 Enimenya chinu ukolele, na ati awe utanyiliye nolwo utanebhila, niligiye ati akili wakabhee munyiliye amwi mubhila!
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 Kwibhyo, ku nsonga awe uli ne bhila bhila, utane bhila nolwo kunyilila, mbe enija okukutanaka usoke mu munwa gwani.
So then, because thou art luke-warm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit thee out of my mouth:
17 Kulwa kubha owaika, “Anye nili munibhi, nabhee na bhinu bhyafu, na nitakenele chinu chona chona.” Mbe nawe atakumenya ati awe uli mutaka na munu we mwalo muno, no owo kusulumbalilwa, mutaka, muofu na tuyu.
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 Tegelesha inyaika yani: nugule kwanye ijaabhu inu ilabhile mu mulilo koleleki ubhone kubha munibhi, na jingubho jimwela jinu ejilabhyangila koleleki ujifwale omwene na wasiga kwelesha jinswalo ja bhutuyu bhwao, na amafuta go kubhambaga ku meso gao koleleki ulole.
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and [that] the shame of thy nakedness may not appear; and anoint thy eyes with eye-salve, that thou mayest see.
19 Bhuli unu enenda, enimwelesha no kumwiigisha lwa kutyo jiile okulama; kulwejo, nubhe we chimali na ute.
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Lola enimelegulu ku mulyango ne nikonona. Wone wone unu kongwa obhulaka bhwani no kwingula omulyango, enija no kwingila muju yaye, no kulya ebhilyo nage no mwene amwi nanye.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: If any man shall hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 Unu kaiga, enimuyana echimali cho kwinyanja amwi nanye ingulu ye chitebhe chani cha ingoma, lwa kutyo anye naigile no kwinyanja amwi na Lata wani ingulu ye chitebhe chaye echa ingoma.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me on my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father on his throne.
22 Unu ali no kutwi, kwo kungwa mbe nongwe jinu Mwoyo kabhwila amakanisa.”
