< Mathayo 25 >

1 Mbe niwo obhukama bhwamulwile bhulisusanyibhwa na abhayala ekumi abho bhagengele jitala na nibhagenda okuja okulamila omutwasi wo bhwenga.
Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
2 Abhatanu mwabho bhaliga bhamumu bhatanu abhandi bhaliga bhobhwenge.
Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent.
3 Abhayala abhamumu bhejile bhagegele jitala jebhwe bhatagegele mafuta gone gone.
The foolish ones took their lamps, but took no oil with them;
4 Nawe abhayala bho bhwebge bhagegele ebhinu bhya mafuta amwi najitala jebhwe.
while the prudent ones, besides taking their lamps, took oil in their jars.
5 Woli omwanya omutwasi wobhenga ejile akola okukinga, bhone nibhagwatwa jitilo nibhamama.
As the bridegroom was late in coming, they all became drowsy, and slept.
6 Nawe omwanya gwa mungeta agati nibhao ijogele,' Mbe mulole omutwasi wo bhwenga! Ni muuluke anja mujokumulamila.'
But at midnight a shout was raised — ‘The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!’
7 Niwo abhayala abho bhone nibhemuka nibhakongeshq jitala jebhwe.
Then all the bridesmaids awoke and trimmed their lamps.
8 Abhamumu bhaliya nibhabhwila bhaliya abho bhwengwe, muchiyaneko libhala lya mafuta gemwe okubha jitala jeswe ejisimilila!
And the foolish said to the prudent ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
9 Nawe bhaliya abhobhwengeso mbhabhasubhya no kubhabhwila ati, amwi gatakuchiya eswe nemwe, akili mugende kubhanu mwigulile abhene.'
But the prudent ones answered ‘No, for fear that there will not be enough for you and for us. Go instead to those who sell it, and buy for yourselves.’
10 OMwanya bhagendele eyo okugula, omutwasi wo bhwenga akingile, na bhone bhanu bhaliga bhamaliliye bhagendele nage omutwasi wo bhwenga, omulyango gwegaye.
But while they were on their way to buy it, the bridegroom came; and the bridesmaids who were ready went in with him to the banquet, and the door was shut.
11 Ejile bheya abhayala abhandi one nibhakinga nibhaika! 'Latabhugenyi, Latabhugenyi nuchigulile.
Afterwards the other bridesmaids came. ‘Sir, Sir,’ they said, ‘open the door to us!’
12 Nawe asubhishe naika ati, nichimali nabhabhwila ati, anye nitakubhamenya.
But the bridegroom answered ‘I tell you, I do not know you.’
13 Kulwejo nimwangalile, kwokubha mutakumenya lusiku nolwo isaa.
Therefore watch, since you know neither the Day nor the Hour.
14 kwo kubha ni lwa kutyo omunu aliga nenda okuja mulugendo okuja munsi Indi. Abhabhilikie abhagaya bhae nabhasigila obhunibhi bhwae.
For it is as though a man, going on his travels, called his servants, and gave his property into their charge.
15 Oumwi webhwe amuyanile jitalanta etanu oundi amuyanile Ebhili, na uliya oundi amuyanile talanta imwi. Bhuli umwi alamiye okwingana no bhutulo bhwae, no munu uliya agendele jae.
He gave three thousand pounds to one, twelve hundred to another, and six hundred to a third, in proportion to the ability of each. Then he set out on his travels.
16 Ao nao uliya alamiye jitalanta etanu agendele najibhikisha, no kwibhusha jitalanta ejindi etanu.
The man who had received the three thousand pounds went at once and traded with it, and made another three thousand.
17 Niko kutyo uliya alamiye jitalanta ebhili, ebhusishe ejindi ebhili.
So, too, the man who had received the twelve hundred pounds made another twelve hundred.
18 omugaya oyo alamiye italanta imwi, agendele jae, nasimba elyobho mumayalu, naiseleka iyela ya isebhugenyi wae.
But the man who had received the six hundred went and dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master’s money.
19 Mbe nigutulao mwanya mulela, isebhugenyi wa abhagaya abho asubhile na nakonja amasabhu nabho.
After a long time the master of those servants returned, and settled accounts with them.
20 Uliya omugaya oyo alamiye jitalanta etanu ejile no kuleta jitalanta ejindi etanu, naika ati, 'Latabhugenyi, wananile jitalanta etanu, Lola nabhenemo jitalanta ejindi etanu.'
The man who had received the three thousand pounds came up and brought three thousand more. ‘Sir,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with three thousand pounds; look, I have made another three thousand!’
21 Esebhugenyi wae amubhwiliye ati, 'Wakondya, uli mugaya wa bhwana na mwiikanyibhwa! wabha mwiikanyibhwa ku cHinu chitoto. Enikuyana obhukulu ingulu ye bhinu byafu. Ingila mubhukondelwa bhwa Esebhugenyi wao.'
‘Well done, good, trustworthy servant!’ said his master. ‘You have been trustworthy with a small sum; now I will place a large one in your hands; come and share your master’s joy!’
22 Mugaya oyo alamiye jitalanta ebhili ejile naika ati, 'Latabhugenyi, nalamiye talanta ebhili. Lola, nabhwenemo jitalanta ejindi ebhili,
Then the one who had received the twelve hundred pounds came up and said ‘Sir, you entrusted me with twelve hundred pounds; look, I have made another twelve hundred!’
23 Esebhugenyi wae amubhwiliye ati, 'Wakondya, uli mugaya wa bhwana na mwiikanyibhwa wabha mwiikanyibhwa kubhinu bhikeele. Enikuyana obhukulu ingulu ye bhinu bhyafu. Ingila mubhukondelwa bhwa Esobhugenyi wao
‘Well done, good, trustworthy servant!’ said his master. ‘You have been trustworthy with a small sum; now I will place a large one in your hands; come and share your master’s joy!’
24 Ao nao omugaya oyo alamiye Italanta imwi ejile naika ati, 'Latabhugenyi nimenyele ati, awe uli musayuke. Ounoga na ao utayambile, na ougesa nao utabhibhile.
The man who had received the six hundred pounds came up, too, and said ‘Sir, I knew that you were a hard man; you reap where you have not sown, and gather up where you have not winnowed;
25 Anye nobhaile, ningenda Jani na niniiseleka Italanta yao mumayalu. Lola, unayo anu ili eyao.'
and, in my fear, I went and hid your money in the ground; look, here is what belongs to you!’
26 Nawe esebhugenyi waye asubhishe naika ati, awe mugaya mubhibhi na mulenga wamenyele ati eninoga ao nichali kuyamba no kugesa nao nichali kubhibha.
‘You lazy, worthless servant!’ was his master’s reply. ‘You knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather up where I have not winnowed?
27 Mbe kwaliga kukwiile okubhayana iyela yani abhanu bha ibenki, no mwanya gunu nakasubhile anye nakailamiye eyani iliya no luliyo lwendemo.
Then you ought to have placed my money in the hands of bankers, and I, on my return, should have received my money, with interest.
28 Mbe mumuteshe Italanta eyo na mumuyane uliya omugaya oyo ali na jitalanta ekumi.
‘Therefore,’ he continued, ‘take away from him the six hundred pounds, and give it to the one who has the six thousand.
29 Bhuli munu unu alinacho, alyongesibhwa bhyafu -nolwo kwo kukanyisibwa muno. Tali ku wone wone oyo atali nachinu nolwo echo alinacho alitesibhwa.
For, to him who has, more will be given, and he shall have abundance; but, as for him who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away from him.
30 Nimumwese anja mumwilima (muchisute) oyo omugaya Oyo ateile, niyo kulibha okulila no kuguguna ameno.'
As for the useless servant, ‘put him out into the darkness’ outside, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.’
31 Akatungu omwana wo munu alija na likusho lyaye, na bhamalaika bhone amwi nage niwo alinyanja kuchitebhe chae echa likusho.
When the Son of Man has come in his glory and all the angels with him, then he ‘will take his seat on his throne of glory’;
32 Amaanga gone galikofyanya imbele yaye, omwene alisolamo abhanu lwa kutyo omulefi kasolamo jinyabhalega na jimbusi.
and all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people — just as a shepherd separates sheep from goats —
33 alijitula jinyabhalega mukubhoko kwe bhulyo, Tali jimbusi alijitula mukubhoko kwe ebhumosi.
placing the sheep on his right hand, and the goats on his left.
34 Mbe niwo omukama alibhabhwila bhalia bhanu bhali mukubhoko kwae kwe bhulyo, muje abho muyanilwe amabhando na Lata wani mwingile mubhukama bhunu mwabhikiwe emwe kwambila okutelwao emisingi ja insi.
Then the King will say to those on his right ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, enter upon possession of the Kingdom prepared for you ever since the beginning of the world.
35 Okubha naliga no mweko nimunana ebhilyo; Naliga mugenyi nimunkalibhisha.
For, when I was hungry, you gave me food; when I was thirsty, you gave me drink; when I was a stranger, you took me to your homes;
36 Naliga tuyu nimunfwafya emyenda, Naliga ndwae na nimumbika; Na Naliga nibhoyelwe na nimunyijila!
when I was naked, you clothed me; when I fell ill, you visited me; and when I was in prison, you came to me.’
37 Mbe niwo abhalegesi bhalimusubhya nibhaika ati, 'Latabhugenyi, Ni lii chakubhwene uli no mweko no kukukesha amwi uli no bhwilo na nichikuyana amanji.
Then the Righteous will answer ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you? Or thirsty, and give you a drink?
38 Na Ni lii chakulolele uli mugenyi, na nichikukalibhisha amwi uli tuyu nichikufwafya emyenda?
When did we see you a stranger, and take you to our homes? Or naked, and clothe you?
39 Na ni lii chakulolele uli mulwae amwi mwibhoyelo na nichikwijila?
When did we see you ill, or in prison, and come to you?’
40 No mukama alibhasubhya no kubhabhwila ati, ni chimali enibhabhwila ati echo mwakolele anu ku umwi wa bhaili bhani abhatoto, mwankolee anye.'
And the King will reply ‘I tell you, as often as you did it to one of these my Brothers, however lowly, you did it to me.’
41 Niwo alibhabhwila abho bhali mukubhoko kwae kwe bhumosi, nimusoke kwanye abho mufumilisibhwe, mugende mumulilo gunu gutakuwao gunu gwelabhilwe kulwa shetani na bhamalaika bhaye, (aiōnios g166)
Then he will say to those on his left ‘Go from my presence, accursed, into the ‘aeonian fire which has been prepared for the Devil and his angels.’ (aiōnios g166)
42 okubha naliga no mweko nawe mutananile bhilyo; Naliga nili no bhwilo nawe mutananile manji;
For, when I was hungry, you gave me no food; when I was thirsty, you gave me no drink;
43 Naliga nili mugenyi mutankalibhisishe nili tuyu nawe mutananile myenda; Nili mulwae na nili mwibhoyelo nawe mutandolele.'
when I was a stranger, you did not take me to your homes; when I was naked, you did not clothe me; and, when I was ill and in prison, you did not visit me.’
44 Niwo abho one bhalimusubhya nibhaika ati, Latabhugenyi, Ni lii chakulolele uli no mweko, amwi uli no bhwilo, amwi uli mugenyi amwi uli tuyu, amwi uli mulwae, amwi uli mubhoywa na chitakufulubhendeye?
Then they, in their turn, will answer ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or ill, or in prison, and did not supply your wants?’
45 Mbe niwo alibhasubhya naika ati, Ni chimali enibhabhwila ati chilia echo mutakolele ku umwi wa bhanu abhatoto, mutankolee anye.'
And then he will reply ‘I tell you, as often as you failed to do it to one of these, however lowly, you failed to do it to me.’
46 Bhanu bhaligenda munyako inu itakuwao nawe abhalengelesi mubhuanga bhunu bhutakuwao.” (aiōnios g166)
And these last will go away ‘into aeonian punishment,’ but the righteous ‘into aeonian life.’” (aiōnios g166)
