< Luka 24 >

1 Mulugulu muno olusiku lwo kwamba olwo bhwoyo, nibhaja kumfwa, nibhaletaga ebhinu ebhilange bhinu bhaliga bhelabhile.
But at early morning dawn on the first day of the week (Nissan 17, the day of First Fruits #1), they and some others came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared.
2 Nibhasanga libhuyi liilingisibhwe kula na imfwa.
They found the stone rolled away from the tomb.
3 Nibhengila munda, Nawe bhatagusangilemo omubhili gwa Ratabhugenyi Yesu.
They entered in, and didn’t find the Master Yeshua's [Salvation]'s body.
4 Jabhonekene ati, omwanya bhachatangangae ingulu yelyo, awonawo, bhanu bhabhili nibhemelegulu agati yebhwe bhafwae ebhifwalo bhyo kulabhyangila.
While they were greatly perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling clothing.
5 Abhagasi bhejuye obhubha bhenamishe obhusu bhwebhwe ansi, nibhabhabhwila abhagasi, “Kulwaki omumuyenja unu ali muhanga agati ya bhafuye?
Becoming terrified, they bowed their faces down to the earth. They said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?
6 Atalio anu, Tali asuluka! Mwichuke kutyo aikile nemwe anu aliga achali Galilaya,
He is not here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee [District, Circuit],
7 naikati Omwana wa Adamu nibhusibhusi asosibhwe mumabhoko gabhanu the bhibhibhi na abhabwe, no lusiku lwa kasatu, asuluke lindi.”
saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinners devoted to sin ·miss the marks and be without share in the goal (and stained by definite crime vice)·, and be executed on the stake, and the third day rise again?”
8 Abhagasi bhaliya nibhechuka emisango jae,
They remembered his words,
9 nibhasubha okusoka kumfwa nibhabhabhwila emisango jona bhaliya ekumi na umwi na bhona.
teshuvah ·completely returned· from the tomb, and told all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest.
10 Mbe Maliya na Magedalena, Jowana, Maliya nyila wa Yakobho, na bhagasi abhandi nibhasosha amagambo ganu ku ntumwa.
Now they were Mary of Magdala [Rebellion of City tower], Joanna, and Mary [Rebellion] the mother of James [Surplanter]. The other women with them told these things to the apostles.
11 Nawe omusango gunu nigubhonekana kuti gwa mujao kuntumwa, bhatabhekilisishe abhagasi abho.
These words seemed to them to be nonsense, and they didn’t trust them.
12 Nolo kutyo Petelo nemuka, nabhilima okuja kumfwa, nasungulila nalola muchitulo, nalola lilimo lisanda lyenyele. Petelo nasubhayo nagenda ikewaye, nalugula niki chinu chabhonekana.
But Peter [Rock] got up and ran to the tomb. Stooping and looking in, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he departed to his home, wondering what had happened.
13 Mbe lola, abhabhili amwi yebhwe bhaliga nibhagenda mumusi gumwi gunu gwatogwaga Emau, chinu chaliga chili maili sitini okusoka Yelusalemu.
Behold, two of them were going that same day (Nissan 17) to a village named Emmaus, which was sixty stadia [7.93 mi; 11.1 km] from Jerusalem [City of peace].
14 Nibhaloma abhene kwa bhene ingulu ya jinu jabhonekene.
They talked with each other about all of these things which had happened.
15 Njibhonekana ati, omwanya gunu bhalomaga nibhebhushaga amabhusho, Yesu nabheililako nibhabha amwi nage.
While they talked and questioned together, Yeshua [Salvation] himself came near, and went with them.
16 Nawe ameso gebhwe galiga gafundikiye bhatamumenyele.
But their eyes were kept from recognizing him.
17 Yesu nabhabhwila ati,”Niki chinu emwe abhabhili omulomelela akatungu kanu mulibhata?” Nibhemelegulu ao bhajubhile.
He said to them, “What are you talking about as you walk, and are sad?”
18 Oumwi webhwe, lisina lyae Cleopa, nasubya naikati, “Enibhusha awe wenyele anu Yelusalemu unu utakumenya emisango jinu jabhonekene munsiku jinu?”
One of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only stranger in Jerusalem [City of peace] who does not know the things which have happened there in these days?”
He said to them, “What things?” They said to him, “The things concerning Yeshua [Salvation], the Nazarene [person from Branch, Separated one], who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;
20 Nalwakutyo abhakulu bha bhagabhisi na bhatangasha bheswe kutyo bhamusosishe nibhamulamula okufwa no kumubhamba.
and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and nailed him to the stake.
21 Nawe aliga nichiikanya ati omwene niwe kaja okubhata abhwelu Israeli. Yee, Kula nago gona, oli nilusiku lwa kasatu ganu gabhonekene.
But we were hoping that it was he who would redeem Israel [God prevails]. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened.
22 Nawe ona, amwi ya bhagasi okusoka mubhumwi bhweswe bhachilugusishe, bhejile bhabhao kumfwa katondo mulugulu.
Also, certain women of our company amazed us, having arrived early at the tomb;
23 Bwejile bhabhulwa omubhili gwae, nibhaja, nibhaikati, bhalolele ebhilugusho bhya malaika bhanu bhaikile ati ali muanga.
and when they didn’t find his body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
24 Amwi ya bhalume bhanu chaliga chinabho nibhagenda kumfwa, nibhasanga lwa kutyo abhagasi bhaikile. Nawe bhatamubhwene omwene.”
Some of us went to the tomb, and found it just like the women had said, but they didn’t see him.”
25 Yesu nabhabhwila ati,”Emwe muli bhamumu na muna emyoyo misito ejokwikilisha jona jinu abhalagi bhaikile!
He said to them, “Foolish men, and slow of heart to trust in all that the prophets have spoken!
26 Enibhabhusha, aliga jitali bhusibhusi Yesu okunyansibhwa kwe misango ejo, no kwingila mwikusho lyae?”
Didn’t the Messiah [Anointed one] have to suffer these things and to enter into his glory?”
27 Okwambila okusoka ku Musa na bhalagi bhona, Yesu nabhabhutabhutila emisango jinu jimwiile omwene mumandiko gona.
Beginning from Moses [Drawn out] and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
28 Bhejile bhachifogelela echijiji echo, chinu bhajamoga, Yesu nekolati achagendelela imbele.
They came near to the village, where they were going, and he acted like he would go further.
29 Nawe nibhamusinyilisha, nibhaikati, “Inyanja amwi neswe, kulwokubha jabhee kegolo no lusiku lwawa”. Kulwejo Yesu nengila nenyanja nabho.
They urged him, saying, “Stay with us, for it is almost evening, and the day is almost over. (Finish of Nissan 17, nearing to the start of Nissan 18.)” He went in to stay with them.
30 Jabhonekene ati, anu aliga enyanjile nabho nalya, agegele omukate, naguyana amabhando, nagubhutula, nabhayana.
When he had sat down at the table with them, he took the matzah ·unleavened bread· and gave thanks. Breaking it, he gave to them.
31 Ameso gebhwe nigafumbulwa, nibhamusinyilisha, ao nao nabhulao imbele ya meso gebhwe.
Their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he vanished out of their sight.
32 Nibhaikati abhene kwa bhene, “Emyoyo jeswe sanga jitali munda yeswe, omwanya gunu sanga naloma neswe munjila, omwanya gunu achifumbulila amandiko?”
They said to one another, “Did not our hearts burn within us, while he spoke to us along the way, and while he opened the Scriptures to us?”
33 Nibhemuka omwanya ogwoogwo, nibhasubha Yelusalemu. Nibhabhasila bhaliya ekumi naumwi bhekumanyishe amwi, nabhanu bhanu bhabhaga amwi nabho,
They rose up that very hour, teshuvah ·completely returned· to Jerusalem [City of peace], and found the eleven gathered together, and those who were with them,
34 Nibhaikati,”Ratabhugenyi asulukile chimali mali, namubhonekela Simoni.”
saying, “The Master is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simeon [Hearing]!”
35 Kulwejo nibhabhabhwila emisango jinu jabhonekene munjila, nakutyo Yesu abhabhonekee mukubheganya omukate.
They related the things that happened along the way, and how he was recognized by them in the breaking of the matzah ·unleavened bread·.
36 Omwanya gunu bhalomaga amagambo ago, Yesu omwene nemelegulu agati yebhwe, nabhabhwila ati, “Omulembe gubhe kwemwe.”
As they said these things, Yeshua [Salvation] himself stood among them, and said to them, “Peace be to you; Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)], do not be afraid.”
37 Nawe nibhobhaya nibhabhabhwila no bhubha, nibhetogela ati bhalola esabwa.
But they were terrified and filled with fear, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38 Yesu nabhabhwila ati, Kulwaki omusulumbala? Kulwaki omwibhusha mumiyo jemwe?
He said to them, “Why are you troubled? Why do doubts arise in your hearts?
39 Mulole amabhoko gani na magulu gani, kutyo alyanye. Munkunyeko namulole. Kulwokubha lisabwa litana nyama na mawa, lwakutyo omundola ninabhyo.”
See my hands and my feet, that it is truly me. Touch me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see that I have.”
40 Ejile amala okwaika kutyo, nabholesha amabhoko gae na magulu gae.
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
41 Anu bhaliga bhachali nobhukondelewe bhunu bhwaliga bhulimo no kulema okwilisha, no kulugula, Yesu nabhabhwila ati, “Enibhusha, muna echinu chona chona echokulya?”
While they still didn’t trust for joy, and wondered, he said to them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”
42 Nibhamuyana echibhutu cha inswi inu yaliga yochewe.
They gave him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb.
43 Yesu nachigega, nachilya imbele yebhwe.
He took them, and ate in front of them.
44 Nabhabhwila ati, “Anu aliga nchali amwi nemwe, nabhabhwila gona ganu gandikilwe mubhilagilo bhya Musa na mubhalagi na Zaburi nibhusibhusi gakumile”
He said to them, “This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the Torah ·Teaching· of Moses [Drawn out], the Prophets, and the Psalms [Praises], concerning me must be fulfilled.”
45 Neya negula ombwenge bhwebhwe, koleleki bhamenye amandiko.
Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures.
46 Nabhabhwila ati, “Ati jandikilwe, Kristo nibhusibhusi anyansibhwe, nokusuluka lindi okusoka mubhafuye olusiku lwa kasatu.
He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Messiah [Anointed one] to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,
47 No kuta no kuswalililwa ebhibhibhi nibhusibhusi ilashwe kwa lisina lyae kumaanga gona, okwambila okusokelela Yelusalemu.
and in his name teshuvah ·complete repentance· and remission of abstract sins ·miss the marks· should be preached to all the nations, starting with Jerusalem [City of peace].
48 Emwe muli bhabhambasi bha magambo ganu.
You are witnesses of these things.
49 Mulole, enibhasilila omulago gwa Rata want ingulu yemwe. Tali mulinde munu mumusi, okukinga anu mulifwafibhwa amanaga okusoka ingulu.
Behold, I send out the promise of 'Avi ·my Father· on you. But wait in the city of Jerusalem [City of peace] until you are clothed with power from on high.”
50 Neya Yesu nabhatangasha anja okukinga okulebhelela Bethania. Nemusha amabhoko gae ingulu, nabhayana amabhando.
He led them out as far as Bethany [House of affliction], and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
51 Nibhonekana ati, omwanya gunu aliga nabhayana amabhando, abhasigile nagegwa ingulu okuja mulwile.
While he blessed them, he withdrew from them, and was carried up into heaven.
52 Kulwejo nibhamulamya, nibhasubha Yerusalemu na obhukondelewa bhunene.
They worshiped him, and teshuvah ·completely returned· to Jerusalem [City of peace] with great joy,
53 Bhagendelee okubhamo muyekalu, nibhalamya Nyamuanga.
and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen ·So be it·.
