< Luka 17 >
1 Yesu nabhwila abheigisibhwa bhae ati,”amagambo ganu agakola abhanu nibhakola ebhibhibhi ni bhusibhusi gaje, Nawe jilimubhona omunu unu aligaletelesha!
Then Jesus said to the disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to the one through whom they come!
2 Jakabhee akili kumunu oyo okubhohya olubhui lwo kushela muchimilo chae no kweswa munyanja, okukila okwikujusha oumwi wa bhatoto akole ebhibhibhi.
It would be better for him if a heavy millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3 Mwilinde. Omwana wanyu akakukaya umugonye, akata umusasile.
Watch yourselves. If yoʋr brother sins against yoʋ, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.
4 Nolo akakukaya kwiya ngendo saba kulusiku lumwi na kwiya ngendo saba naja kwawe naikati,'nata,'musasile!”
Even if he sins against yoʋ seven times in a day, and seven times in that day he comes back and says, ‘I repent,’ yoʋ must forgive him.”
5 Jintumwa jae nibhamubhwila Latabhugenyi ati, “Chongelesishe elikilisha lyeswe.”
The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
6 Latabhugenyi naikati, “Kumba mulinokwikilisha lwa imbibho ya iyaladani mwakatulile okubhwila liti linu lya likuyu, 'nukuke ujokumela munyanja, 'na lyakabhonguhye.
The Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
7 Nawe niga kwimwe, unu ali no mukosi unu kalima insambu amwi nalebha jinyabhalega, kamubhwila anu alasubha munsambu,'Ija bhwangu winyanje ulye ebhilyo?
“Suppose one of you has a servant plowing the field or tending the sheep. As soon as he comes in from the field would you say, ‘Come and recline at the table’?
8 Nawe amwi atakumubhwila ati, sabhula ebhilyo nilye, ibhoya umfulubhendele okukinga anu ndamalila okulya no kunywa. Nio awe ona ulalya no kunywa?
Instead, would yoʋ not say to him, ‘Prepare my supper. Put on yoʋr apron and serve me while I eat and drink; after that yoʋ may eat and drink’?
9 Nio oumusima omukosi oyo kulwokubha akumisha jinu alagiliwe?
Do yoʋ thank that servant because he did what he was commanded? I think not.
10 Emwe ona nikwo mkakola jona jinu mulagiliwe mwaikati,'Eswechili bhakosi bhanu bhateile. Chikolele jinu jaliga jichiile okukola.'
So you also, when you have done everything you were commanded to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what we were obligated to do.’”
11 Jabhonekene ati anu aliga nagenda Yelusalemu, alabhile mulubhibhi lwa Samalia na Galilaya.
Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border of Samaria and Galilee.
12 Ejile engila muchijiji chimwi, eyo abhonene na bhanu ekumi bhanu bhaliga bhalibhagenge. Nibhemelegulu alela nage.
As he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers who stood at a distance.
13 Nibhabhilikila kwo bhulaka bhwaingulu nibhaikati,”Yesu, Latabhugenyi chifwilwe chigongo.”
They lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14 Ejile abhalola nabhabhwila ati,”Mugende mujokwiyolesha ku bhagabhisi”anu bhaliga bhachagenda nibhaosibhwa.
When he saw them, he said to them, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” As they went along, they were cleansed.
15 Oumwi webhwe ejile alola kutyo eulila, nasubha kwo bhulaka bhunene namukuya Nyamuanga.
When one of them saw that he had been healed, he came back, glorifying God with a loud voice.
16 Nefukama mumagulu ga Yesu namusima. Omwene aliga ali musamalia.
He then fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. (Now he was a Samaritan.)
17 Yesu nasubhya naikati, “angu bhataosibhwa bhona ekumi? Bhalyaki bhaliya tisa?
In response Jesus said, “Were not ten cleansed? Where then are the other nine?
18 Atalio na umwi unu abhonekana okusubha okumukusha Nyamuanga, atali omugenyi unu?”
Were there none found who came back to give glory to God except this foreigner?”
19 Namubhwila ati, “Imuka ugende elikilisha lyao lyakukisha.”
Then he said to the man, “Rise and go on yoʋr way; yoʋr faith has healed yoʋ.”
20 Ejile abhusibhwa na mafalisayo obhukama bhwa Nyamuanga obhuja lii, Yesu nabhasubhya naikati, “Obhukama bhwa Nyamuanga chitali lwe chinu chinu echibhonekana.
At one point Jesus was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was coming, so he answered them, “The kingdom of God does not come with observable signs,
21 Amwi abhanu bhatalyaikati, Lola anu! 'Lola eliya! 'kulwokubha obhukama bhwa Nyamuanga bhuli munda yemwe.”
nor will people say, ‘Behold, here it is!’ or, ‘Behold, there it is!’ For behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
22 Yesu nabhabhwila abheigisibhwa bhae ati, “Omwanya oguja okinga gunu mulyenda okulola olusiku lumwi olwo Mwana wa Adamu, nawe mtaliiibhona.
Then he said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.
23 Bhali bhabhwila ati, 'Lola, eliya! Lola anu! nawe mwasiga kugenda okulola, mtagendaga okubhalubha,
People will say to you, ‘Behold, here he is!’ or, ‘Behold, there he is!’ Do not go off with them or run after them,
24 Lwakutyo olulabhyo olulabhya nilumulika mulutumba okusoka lubhala lumwi nilukinga kulubhala olundi. Nikwo kutyo Omwana wa Adamu alibha kulusiku lwae.
for just as lightning flashes from one part of the sky and shines to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day.
25 Nawe okwamba kumwiile okunyasibhwa kumagambo mamfu no kulemwa no lwibhulo lunu.
But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
26 Mbe lwakutyo jaliga jili mu nsiku ja Nuhu, nikwokutyo jilibha munsiku jo mwana wa Adamu.
Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man.
27 Bhalyaga, nibhanywa, nibhatwala no kutwalwa okukinga kulusiku lunu Nuhu engiye mungalabha induluma niijanibhasingalisha bhona.
People were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah went into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
28 Nikwo kutyo jabhee kulusiku lwa Lutu, bhalyaga, nokunywa, nibhagula no kugusha, nibhalima nibhombaka.
It will be the same as it was in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.
29 Nawe olusiku lunu Lutu asokele Sodoma, nigwa ingubha yo mulilo ne chibhiliti okusoka mulwile nibhsingalisha bhona.
But on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
30 Nikwo kutyo ona jilibha kulusiku lwo mwana wa Adamu anu aliswelulilwa.
So will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
31 Olusiku olwo, unu alibha ali ingulu ya inyumba asiga kutuka kugega ebhyae bhinu bhyaliga bhili munyumba. Nawasiga kwikilisha unu ali mwisambu okusubha munyumba.
On that day, he who is on the housetop and whose goods are in the house must not come down to get them. Likewise, he who is in the field must not turn back.
33 Wona wona unu kalegeja okukisha obhuanga bhwae alibhubhusha, nawe wonawona unu kabhusha obhuanga bhwae nuwe alibhubhona.
Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.
34 Enibhabhwila ati, ingeta eyo bhalibha bhanu bhabhili kubhulili bumwi. Oumwi aligegwako, no oundi nasigwa.
I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left.
35 Bhalibhao bhagasi bhabhili nibhasha obhulo kulubhui amwi, oumwi nagegwako oumwi nasigalako.” Bhanu bhabhili bhalibha bhali mwisambu, oumwi aligegwako oumwi
Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other will be left.”
37 Nibhamubhusha ati,”Alyaki Nyamuanga?”Nabhabhwila ati,”Anu guli omuzoga, nio jimukwali ejikumanyisha amwi.”
Then the disciples said to him in response, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there the vultures will be gathered together.”
