Yoana 17
1 Yesu aikile emisango jinu; namala nenamusha ameso gaye nalolela mulwile naika, “Lata, omwanya gweile umukushe omwana koleleki no mwana ona akushe awe.
These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 Lwa kutyo wamuyanile obhuinga ingulu ya bhona ebyo mubhili koleleki abhbayane obhuanga bya kajanende bhaliya bhona abho bhamuyaye. (aiōnios g166)
As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. (aiōnios g166)
3 Bhunu nibwo obhuanga bwa kajanende ati bhakumenye awe, Nyamuanga we chimali umwi ela no omwene oyo watumile, Yesu kristo. (aiōnios g166)
And this is life eternal, that they may know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. (aiōnios g166)
4 Nakukusishe anu kusi, nagumalile omulimu ogwo wananile nigukole.
I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 Woli Lata unkushe anye amwi nawe amwi wenyele kwikusho linu naliga nalyo amwi nawe isi ichali bubhao.
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thy ownself, with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6 Nelesishe lisina lyao kubhanu abho wananile anu musi. Bhaliga bhanu bhao, nawe wananile anye nabho bhagugwatile omusango gwao.
I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou gavest to me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word.
7 Woli abhaja bhuli chinu echowananile anye echisoka kwawe.
Now they have known that all things whatever thou hast given me are from thee.
8 Ku misango ejo wananile anye, Namalile okubhayana abhene emisango ejo. bhajilamiye ne chimali mbamenya kutyo anye nisokele kwawe, mbekilishe okubha awe nawe wantumile.
For I have given to them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received [them], and have known surely that I came from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 Enibhasabhilwa abho. Nitakusabhilwa echalo atali abho wananile kwo kubha abhene ni bhao.
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them whom thou hast given to me; for they are thine.
10 Ebhinu byona ebyo ni byani nibyao na bhiliya ulinabyo ni byani; nanye enikukusha kwibyo.
And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 Anye nitali muchalo, nawe abhene bhalimo muchalo, anye woli enija kwawe. Lata omwelu ubhalinde, kwi sina lyao linu abho unanile eswe koleleki abhene nabho bhabhe no bhumwi, lwa kutyo amwe nawe chili no bhumwi.
And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thy own name those whom thou hast given to me, that they may be one, as we [are].
12 Naliga nili nabho, nabhalindile kwa lisina olyo wananile; Nabhalindile na atali ona umwi wemwe oyo abhulile atali omwana wokubhula, koleleki chinu chandikilwe chikumisibwega.
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest to me I have kept, and none of them is lost but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 Woli enija kwawe; nawe enaika ganu ku chalo koleleki likondelelwa lyani likumile kubhona.
And now I come to thee, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 Nabhayaye omusango gwao; echalo chibhabhiililwa kwo kubha abhene bhatali bhe chalo, lwa kutyo anye nitali wechalo.
I have given to them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 Nitakubhasabhilwa ati obhasoshe muchalo nawe ubhalindega na uliya omubhibhi.
I pray not that thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from the evil.
16 Abhene bhatali bha musi lwa kutyo anye nitali wa kuchalo.
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Ubhatulega kwawe omwene ku chimali; omusango gwao nigwe chimali.
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 Wantumile muchalo, anye ona nabhatuma muchalo.
As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 Kulwejo anye omwene enisosha kwawe koleleki ati abhene bhesoshe kwawe kulwe chimali.
And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified through the truth.
20 Bhatali bhanu ele abho enisabhila, nawe nabhaliya abho bhalikilisha okulabhila omusango gwebhe.
Neither pray I for these alone; but for them also who shall believe on me through their word.
21 Koleleki ati abhone nabho bhabhe no bhumwi, lwa kutyo awe Lata, uli mwaye nanye nili mwawe. nabhasabhila koleleki ati abhene bhone bhatule okubha amwi neswe koleleki echalo chitule okwilisha ati awe niwe wantumile.
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 Likusho linu elyo wananile anye, nabhayaye abhene koleleki ati bhatule okubha no bhumi lwa kutyo eswe chili no bhumi.
And the glory which thou gavest to me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one.
23 Anye mu bhene, nabho mwanye, koleleki bhatule okukumila kubhumwi; koleleki echalo chimenye ati okubha nawe wantumile, no kubhenda, lwa kutyo awe wanyendele anye.
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them as thou hast loved me.
24 Lata, bhanu wananile anye, enenda abhene ona bhabhega nanye bhalole likusho lyani linu wananile: Okubha awe wanyendele anye isi ichali kumogwa.
Father, I will that they also whom thou hast given to me be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory which thou hast given to me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 Lata omulengelesi, isi itakukumenya awe, nawe anye enikumenya awe; na bhamenya ati untumile.
O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 Nakolele lisina lyao limenyekane kwebwe, na enilikolaga limenyekane koleleki ati elyo kwenda okwo wanyendele anye litule okubha amwi nemwe, na nanye nitule okubha kwemwe.”
And I have declared to them thy name, and will declare [it]: that the love with which thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I in them.
