1 Mbe woli, bhaili, mchisabhile, ati musango gwa Latabhugenyi ogutula okuswila no kukusibha, lwa kutyo jili one kwemwe.
As to the rest, pray ye, brethren, concerning us, that the word of the Lord may run and may be glorified, as also with you,
2 Nimusabhwe ati chitule okukisibhwa okusoka mu bhubhibhi na bhanu abhagomi, kulwo kubha bhatali bhona bhanu bhane likilisha.
and that we may be delivered from the unreasonable and evil men, for the faith [is] not of all;
3 Mbe nawe Latabhugenyi ni mwiikanyibhwa, unu kabhakomesha emwe no kubhalinda okusoka ku mubhibhi ulya.
and stedfast is the Lord, who shall establish you, and shall guard [you] from the evil;
4 Mbe nawe chili no bhubhasi mu Latabhugenyi ingulu yemwe, ati omukola no mujo okugendelela okukola emisango jinu echibhalagilila.
and we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that the things that we command you ye both do and will do;
5 Latabhugenyi atule okutangasha emyoyo jemwe mu kwenda na mu bhwigumilisha bhwa Kristo.
and the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God, and to the endurance of the Christ.
6 Woli echibhalagilila, bhaili, mwisina Lya Latabhugenyi Yesu Kristo, ati nuwichunde bhuli muili unu ekaye no obhulame bhwo bhulenga atali kwo kulubhana na jintungwa jo bhusimuka jinu mwalamiye okusoka kweswe.
And we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to withdraw yourselves from every brother disorderly walking, and not after the deliverance that ye received from us,
7 Kulwo kubha emwe abhene mumenyele ati ni kisi kwemwe okuchilubha eswe. Chitalamile agati-gati yemwe lwa bhalya bhanu bhaliga bhatana bhwolobhe.
for yourselves have known how it behoveth [you] to imitate us, because we did not act disorderly among you;
8 Na chitaliye ebhilyo bhyo munu wona wona obhutabhiliila. Ukwiya nichikola emilimu mu mumwisi na mu ngeta kwe milimu mikomee na mu nyako, koleleki chasiga mujigo ku wona wona kwimwe.
nor for nought did we eat bread of any one, but in labour and in travail, night and day working, not to be chargeable to any of you;
9 Chakolele kutya atali kulwa insonga ati chitana bhutulo. Nawe chakolele kutya koleleki chibhe chijejekanyo kwimwe, koleleki ati muchilubhilile eswe.
not because we have not authority, but that ourselves a pattern we might give to you, to imitate us;
10 Mu mwanya gunu chaliga chili amwi nemwe chabhalagiliye, “Akabha oumwi wemwe atakwenda kukola milimu, asige okulya.”
for even when we were with you, this we did command you, that if any one is not willing to work, neither let him eat,
11 Kulwo kubha echugwa ati abhandi abhalibhatila mu bhulenga agati-gati yemwe. Bhatakola milimu okumala abhabhonekana ni bhanu bhanu bhatana bhwitondi.
for we hear of certain walking among you disorderly, nothing working, but over working,
12 Mbe woli abho bhona echibhalagilila no kubhasimbagilisha mu Latabhugenyi Yesu Kristo, ati ni bhusi-bhusi bhakole emilimu kwo obhucholele no kulya ebhilyo bhyebhwe abhene.
and such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness working, their own bread they may eat;
13 Mbe nawe emwe, bhaili, mwasiga kukabha mu mitima jemwe mu kukola ganu gali ge kisi.
and ye, brethren, may ye not be weary doing well,
14 Akabha omunu wona wona atakwenda kugwolobhela omusango gweswe mu Nyalumba inu, mbe mumwangalile na mwasiga kusangila amwi nage, koleleki ati eswale.
and if any one do not obey our word through the letter, this one note ye, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed,
15 Mwasiga kumulola kuti musoko, Mbe nawe ni mumusakile uti muili.
and as an enemy count [him] not, but admonish ye [him] as a brother;
16 Latabhugenyi wo mulembe omwene abhayane omulembe mu mwanya gwona gwona mu njila jona. Latabhugenyi abhe amwi nemwe bhona.
and may the Lord of the peace Himself give to you the peace always in every way; the Lord [is] with you all!
17 Bhunu ni bhukesha bwani, Paulo, kwo kubhoko kwani omwene, lunu ni lunyamo lwa bhuli nyalubha. Kutya nikwo nandikile.
The salutation by the hand of me, Paul, which is a sign in every letter; thus I write;
18 Echigongo cha Latabhugenyi weswe Yesu Kristo chitule okubha amwi nemwe bhona.
the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with you all! Amen.
