2 Yohana 1
1 Inyarubha inu eisoka kumukaruka na eigenda kumugasi omusolwa na abhana bhaye, ahhana babho enibhenda muchimali na atali anye ela, tali na bhona bhanu bhamenyele echimali,
The elder to the electe lady and her chyldren which I love in the trueth: and not I only but also all that have knowe the trueth
for the truthes sake which dwelleth in vs and shalbe in vs for ever. (aiōn g165)
3 Echigongo, ne echisa no omulembe bhilibha amwi neswe okusoka ku lata Nyamuangana ku Yesu Kristo Omwana wa Lata, muchimali na mukwenda.
With you be grace mercy and peace from God ye father and from the Lorde Iesus Christ the sonne of the father in trueth and love.
4 Enikondelelwa muno kutiya, namenya ati abhana abhandi bhalamile muchimali, lwakutyo chalamiye echilagilo chinu okusoka ku Lata.
I reioysed greatly that I founde of thy chyldre walkinge in trouth as we have receaved a commaundement of the father.
5 Mbe naoli enikusabhwa awe mayi, nitali ati enikwandikila echilagilo chiyaya, tali ni ilya chaliga chilinayo okusokelela kubhwambilo, lwa kutyo jichiile okwendana eswe abhene. Na bhunu nimwo obhwenji, bhunu bhuchiile kulama nabhwo, okwingana ne echilagilo chae.
And nowe beseche I the lady not as though I wrote a newe commaundement vnto the but that same which we had fro the begynninge that we shuld love one another.
6 Chinu nicho echilagilo lwakutyo mwayunguhwe okusoka kubhwambilo, lwa kutyo jibheile kulama mucilagilo echo.
And this is the love that we shulde walke after his commaundementes. This commaundement is (that as ye have hearde from the begynninge) ye shuld walke in it.
7 Kulwokubha abhajigi bhafu bhasambalile muchalo, na bhatakwikilisha ati Yesu ejile ali mwana munu. Mbe oyo atakwikilisha kutyo niwe omujigi naunu kalema Kristo.
For many deceavers are entred in to the worlde which confesse not that Iesus Christ is come in the flesshe. This is a deceaver and an Antichrist.
8 Mbe mwimenye abhene ati mwasiga okubhusha amagambo ganu chamalile okusombola, nawe koleleki mulamile echiyanwa chingene.
Loke on youre selves that we loose not that we have wrought: but that we maye have a full rewarde.
9 Omunu wonawona kagendelela okuja imbele atagwatiliye eliigisho lya Kristo, atali na Nyamuanga. Oyo agwatiliye eliigisho ali na Nyamuanga no Omwana waye.
Whosoever transgresseth and bydeth not in the doctrine of Christ hath not God. He yt endureth in the doctrine of Christ hath bothe the father and the sonne.
10 Labha omunu naja kwimwe atejile ne eliigisholinu, mwasiga okumukumilila munyumba jeswe na mawasiga okumukesha.
Yf ther come eny vnto you and bringe not this learninge him receave not to housse: nether bid him God spede.
11 Kulwokubha unu kamukesha kasasikana mubhikolwa bhaye ebhibhibhi.
For he that biddeth him God spede is parttaker of his evyll dedes.
12 Nili na amagambo mafu ago kukwandikila, na nitendele okugandika kulupapura no obhwino. Nawe eniikanya ukubhakingako nilome imbele yemwe, koleleki likondelwa lyemwe likumile.
I had many thinges to wryte vnto you neverthelesse I wolde not wryte with paper and ynke: but I trust to come vnto you and speake with you mouth to mouth that oure ioye maye be full.
13 Abhana bha muyala wanyu omusolwa abhabhakesha.
The sonnes of thy electe syster grete the. Amen.
