2 Abhakorintho 6
1 Na kulwejo, okukola smiling aamwi, echibhalembelesha emwe mtalamila echigongo cha Nyamuanga.
We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
2 Kwo kubha kaika, “Omwanya gunu gwekilisibwe naliga wakisi kwemwe, na kulusiku lwo mwelulo nabhasakiye.” Lola, woli ni mwanya gukilisibwe. Lola, woli no lusiku lwo mwelulo.
( For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I helped thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
3 Chitakutulayo libhui lwo kwijula imbele yo mumubhili wonawona, kwo kubha chitakola emiimu jeswe jisigwe okugaywa.
Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
4 Nawe mu jona, chilola abhene kwe bhikolwa byeswe bhona, ati chili bhakosi bha Nyamunga. Chili bhakosi bhae mu bwafu okunyasibwa, okukomela mubwikalo,
But in all things commending ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
5 Okubhumwa, no kubhoywa, mu kukalashanya, okukomela emilimu kwa managa, okubhula jintilo mungeta, no kusalalila,
In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
6 Mu bwichumichumi, mu bhumenyi, mu kwigumilisha, mu chigongo, mu mwoyo mwelu, mu kwenda.
By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love,
7 Chili bhakosi bhae mu musango gwe chimali, mu managa ga Nyamuanga. Chili ne bhigwato ebyo bhulengesi koleleki mu kubhoko kwo bhulyo no kwe bhumosi.
By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
8 Echikola emilimu muchibhalo no kugaywa, kulwo kulomwa. Nokukusibha kubha bhabhei kanawe omwanya chili bha chimali.
By honour and dishonour, by bad report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
9 Echikola emilimu koleleki chitakumenyeka na kutyo echimenyekana kisi. Echikola emilimu lwa bhachifwa na - Lola! - chili bhanga. Echikola emilimu lwa bhanu abhabhalilwa kwe bhikolwa byeswe nawe tali bhanu abhalamulwa okufwa.
As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
10 Echikola emilimu lwa bhanu abhasulumbala, nawesiku jona chili na likondelelwa. Echikola emilimu lwa bhataka nawe echibhanibya bhafu. Echikola emilimu lwa bhanu bhatali na chinu ka nawe bhali na byona.
As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
11 Chalomelwe bwe chimali bhona kwimwe, Abhakorintho, ne mitima jeswe igawe kwo bhunene.
O ye Corinthians, We have spoken openly to you, our heart is wide open.
12 Emitima jeswe jitakuganyibwa neswe, nawe omuganyibwa mwime abhene.
Ye are not restrained by us, but ye are restrained by your own affections.
13 Woli okuindulana enaika kwa bhana mwigale emitima jeswe kwo bhunene.
Now in return for the same, (I speak as to my children, ) open wide your hearts to us.
14 Mutabhoyelwe amwi na bhanyatekilisha. Kwo kubha obhulengesi no bhubhibhi kutiki? Nolwo obwelu ne chisute chisigala kutiki?
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 Bhulio bhungwaniki Kristo na Beliali? Amwi unu ekilisishe ali no mugabho ki amwi na unu atekilisishe?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 Na bhulio bhungwani ki agati ya iyekalu ya Nyamuanga ne chisusano? Kwo kubha eswe ni yekalu ya Nyamuanga unu ali muanga, lwa kutyo Nyamuanga aikili: ati Niliyanja agati yebwe no kulibhata agati yebwe. Nilibha Nyamuanga webwe, nabho bhalibha bhanu bhani.”
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Kulwejo, “Musoke agati, yebwe mwaukane nabho,” kaika Lata bhugeyi. “Mutakuniako chinu chili chijabhi, na ndibhakalibhisha emwe.
Therefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 Nikubha Esomwana kwimwe, nemwe mulibha bhana abhe chilume na bhe chiyala,” kaika Lata bhugenyi.
And I will be a Father to you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
