ಜೆಕರ್ಯನು 2

1 ಆಗ ನಾನು ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಲು, ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳೆಯುವ ನೂಲು ಉಳ್ಳ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು.

I lift vp mine eyes againe and looked, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.

2 ಆಗ ನಾನು, “ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀ?” ಎಂದೆನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ, “ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಅಳತೆಮಾಡಿ, ಅದರ ಅಗಲವೆಷ್ಟು? ಅದರ ಉದ್ದವೆಷ್ಟು? ಎಂದು ನೋಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದನು.

Then saide I, Whither goest thou? And he saide vnto me, To measure Ierusalem, that I may see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

3 ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ದೂತನು ಬರುತ್ತಿರಲು, ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ದೂತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡು,

And beholde, the Angel that talked with me, went foorth: and another Angel went out to meete him,

4 “ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಈ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನಿಗೆ, ‘ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮತ್ತು ದನಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿರುವುದು. ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ಗೋಡೆ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಊರುಗಳಂತೆ ಇರುವುದು.

And saide vnto him, Runne, speake to this yong man, and say, Ierusalem shalbe inhabited without walles, for the multitude of men and cattell therein.

5 ನಾನೇ ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಗೋಡೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅದರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು,’ ಎಂದನು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

For I, saith the Lord, will be vnto her a wall of fire round about, and wil be the glory in the middes of her.

6 “ಎಲೈ, ನೀವು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆಕಾಶದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the North, saith the Lord: for I haue scattered you into the foure winds of the heauen, saith ye Lord.

7 “ಚೀಯೋನೇ, ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಪುತ್ರಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವವಳೇ, ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೋ.”

Saue thy selfe, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babel.

8 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, “ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸುಲಿದುಕೊಂಡ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ತರುವಾಯ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆತನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವವನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗುಡ್ಡೆಯನ್ನು ತಾಕುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

For thus saith the Lord of hostes, After this glory hath hee sent me vnto the nations, which spoyled you: for he that toucheth you, toucheth the apple of his eye.

9 ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಎತ್ತುವೆನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ದಾಸರಿಗೆ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯಾಗುವರು. ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿಯುವಿರಿ.

For beholde, I will lift vp mine hand vpon them: and they shalbe a spoyle to those that serued them, and ye shall knowe, that the Lord of hostes hath sent me.

10 “ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪುತ್ರಿಯೇ, ಹಾಡಿ ಹರ್ಷಿಸು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ನಾನು ಬರುವೆನು ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Reioyce, and be glad, O daughter Zion: for loe, I come, and will dwell in the middes of thee, saith the Lord.

11 “ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾಗುವರು, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ.

And many nations shall be ioyned to the Lord in that day, and shalbe my people: and I will dwell in the middes of thee, and thou shalt knowe that the Lord of hostes hath sent me vnto thee.

12 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಗವಾದ ಯೆಹೂದವನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೊತ್ತಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವರು. ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.

And the Lord shall inherite Iudah his portion in the holy lande, and shall chuse Ierusalem againe.

13 ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಮೌನವಾಗಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಿವಾಸದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.”

Let all flesh be still before the Lord: for he is raised vp out of his holy place.
