ಜೆಕರ್ಯನು 11
1 ಲೆಬನೋನೇ, ಬೆಂಕಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವದಾರುಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆ.
Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.
2 ತುರಾಯಿ ಗಿಡವೇ, ಗೋಳಾಡು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವದಾರು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಯಿತು. ಭವ್ಯವಾದ ಮರಗಳು ಹಾಳಾದವು. ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಅಲ್ಲೋನ್ ಮರಗಳೇ, ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ. ದಟ್ಟವಾದ ಅಡವಿಯು ಕಡಿಯಲಾಗಿದೆ.
Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.
3 ಕುರುಬರ ಗೋಳಾಟವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಅವರ ಸೊಂಪಾದ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲುಗಳು ಹಾಳಾಗಿವೆ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸಿಂಹಗಳು ಗರ್ಜಿಸುವ ಶಬ್ದ ಕೇಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ, ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ದಟ್ಟವಾದ ಪೊದೆಗಳು ನಾಶವಾಗಿವೆ.
[There is] a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.
4 ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ಹತ್ಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸು.
Thus saith the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;
5 ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಗಳೆಂದೆಣಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾರುವವರು, ‘ನಾನು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನಾದೆನು, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ,’ ಎಂದೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕುರುಬರೂ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed [be] the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.
6 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ದೇಶದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಅವನವನ ನೆರೆಯವನ ಕೈಗೂ, ಅವನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವರು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಧ್ವಂಸಮಾಡುವರು. ಅವರ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.”
For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour’s hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver [them].
7 ಆಗ ಹತ್ಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಬಡವಾದ ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸಿದೆನು. ನಾನು ಎರಡು ಕೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡೆನು. ಒಂದಕ್ಕೆ “ಕೃಪೆ” ಎಂದೂ ಮತ್ತೊಂದಕ್ಕೆ “ಐಕ್ಯ” ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟೆನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸಿದೆನು.
And I will feed the flock of slaughter, [even] you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
8 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಒಂದೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಕುರುಬರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದೆನು. ಮಂದೆಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಸಹ್ಯಪಡಿಸಿತು, ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಬೇಸರವಾಯಿತು.
Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
9 ಆಗ ನಾನು, “ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಸಾಯುವಂಥದ್ದು ಸಾಯಲಿ, ಕೆಡುವಂಥದ್ದು ಕೆಡಲಿ, ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದವುಗಳು ಒಂದರ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಒಂದು ತಿನ್ನಲಿ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
10 ಆಗ “ಕೃಪೆ” ಎಂಬ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಲನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟೆನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ರದ್ದುಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆನು.
And I took my staff, [even] Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.
11 ಅದೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ರದ್ದುಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಆಗ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬಡ ಕುರಿ ಮಂದೆಯು, ಅದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿತು.
And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it [was] the word of the LORD.
12 ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಇದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಾಗಿ ತೋರಿದರೆ, ನನ್ನ ಸಂಬಳವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಿರಿ, ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಬಿಡಿರಿ,” ಎಂದೆನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಸಂಬಳವಾಗಿ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
And I said unto them, If ye think good, give [me] my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty [pieces] of silver.
13 ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ, “ಅದನ್ನು ಕುಂಬಾರನಿಗೆ ಎಸೆ. ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಬೆಲೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ,” ಎಂದನು. ಆಗ ನಾನು, ಆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಂಬಾರನಿಗೆ ಎಸೆದೆನು.
And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty [pieces] of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
14 ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಕೋಲಾದ “ಐಕ್ಯ” ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟೆನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಯೆಹೂದಕ್ಕೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಇರುವ ಸಹೋದರತನವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
Then I cut asunder mine other staff, [even] Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ, “ಇನ್ನು ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನವಾದ ಕುರುಬನ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ.
And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
16 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಕುರುಬನನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವನು ಕಳೆದುಹೋದ ಕುರಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿವಹಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡದ್ದನ್ನು ಅವನು ಗುಣ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಿಂದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಅವನು ಪೋಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದವುಗಳ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವನು. ಅವುಗಳ ಗೊರಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು ಬಿಡುವನು.
For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, [which] shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
17 “ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡುವಂಥ ಮೈಗಳ್ಳನಾದ ಕುರುಬನಿಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟ! ಖಡ್ಗವು ಅವನ ತೋಳಿನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಅವನ ಬಲಗಣ್ಣಿನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಇರುವುದು. ಅವನ ತೋಳು ಪೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಒಣಗುವುದು. ಅವನ ಬಲಗಣ್ಣು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತಲಾಗುವುದು.”
Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword [shall be] upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
