ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ 8
1 ಕುರಿಮರಿ ಆಗಿರುವವರು ಏಳನೆಯ ಮುದ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಒಡೆದಾಗ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು ಅರ್ಧ ತಾಸಿನವರೆಗೂ ನಿಶ್ಶಬ್ದವಿತ್ತು.
And, as soon as he opened the seventh seal, there came to be silence in heaven, as it were half an hour.
2 ಆಗ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಏಳು ದೇವದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಏಳು ತುತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
And I saw the seven messengers which, before God, do stand; and there were given unto them seven trumpets.
3 ಚಿನ್ನದ ಧೂಪಾರತಿಯಿದ್ದ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ದೇವದೂತನು ಬಂದು ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಬಳಿ ನಿಂತನು. ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮುಂದಿನ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಧೂಪವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ದೇವಜನರೆಲ್ಲರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಧೂಪವು ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
And, another messenger, came, and took his stand at the altar, having a censer of gold: and there was given unto him much incense, that he might give [it] unto the prayers of all the saints, upon the altar of gold that is before the throne.
4 ದೇವದೂತನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಧೂಪದ ಹೊಗೆಯು, ದೇವಜನರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ, ದೇವಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಏರಿಹೋಯಿತು.
And the smoke of the incense went up, with the prayers of the saints, out of the hand of the messenger before God.
5 ಆಗ ದೇವದೂತನು ಧೂಪಾರತಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಸೆದನು. ಆಗ ಗುಡುಗುಗಳೂ ಸಪ್ಪಳವೂ ಮಿಂಚುಗಳೂ ಮತ್ತು ಭೂಕಂಪವೂ ಉಂಟಾದವು.
And the messenger at once took the censer, and filled it from the fire of the altar, and cast unto the earth; and there came to be thunderings, and voices, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
6 ಆಗ ಏಳು ತುತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವ ಏಳು ದೇವದೂತರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಊದಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಾದರು.
And, the seven messengers who had the seven trumpets, prepared themselves, that they might sound.
7 ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದೇವದೂತನು ತನ್ನ ತುತೂರಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಲು, ರಕ್ತದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಿಶ್ರಿತವಾದ ಆಲಿಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯೂ ಬೆಂಕಿಯೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿದವು. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೂರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವು ಸುಟ್ಟುಹೋಯಿತು. ಮರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರನೆಯ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗ ಭಸ್ಮವಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಹಸಿರು ಹುಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಟ್ಟುಹೋಯಿತು.
And, the first, sounded; and there came to be hail and fire mingled with blood, and it was cast unto the earth; and, the third of the earth, was burned up, and, the third of the trees, was burned up, and, all green herbage, was burned up.
8 ಎರಡನೆಯ ದೇವದೂತನು ತನ್ನ ತುತೂರಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿದನು. ಆಗ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಂಥದ್ದು ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸೆಯಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೂರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವು ರಕ್ತವಾಯಿತು.
And, the second messenger, sounded; and, as it were a great mountain burning with fire, was cast into the sea; and the third of the sea became blood,
9 ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಜೀವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗ ಸತ್ತವು ಮತ್ತು ಹಡಗುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗ ನಾಶವಾದವು.
and the third of the creatures which were in the sea, which had life, died, the third of the ships, was destroyed.
10 ಮೂರನೆಯ ದೇವದೂತನು ತನ್ನ ತುತೂರಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿದನು. ಆಗ ದೀಪದಂತೆ ಉರಿಯುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರವು ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ನದಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೂ ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳ ಮೂರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿತು.
And, the third messenger, sounded; and there fell, out of heaven, a great star, burning as a torch, and it fell upon the third of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters.
11 ಆ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರದ ಹೆಸರು, ಮಾಚಿಪತ್ರೆ, ಆಗ ಮೂರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವು ಕಹಿಯಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಆ ನೀರು ಕಹಿಯಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ಜನರು ಸತ್ತರು.
And, the name of the star, is called Wormwood; and the third of the waters became wormwood, and many of the men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
12 ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ದೇವದೂತನು ತನ್ನ ತುತೂರಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿದನು, ಆಗ ಸೂರ್ಯ, ಚಂದ್ರ, ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವು ಬಡೆದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮೂರನೇ ಭಾಗವು ಕತ್ತಲಾಯಿತು. ಹಗಲಿನೊಳಗೆ ಮೂರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವು ಬಡೆದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಮೂರನೇ ಭಾಗವು ಕತ್ತಲಾಯಿತು. ಮೂರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವು ಪ್ರಕಾಶವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು. ರಾತ್ರಿಯು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಯಿತು.
And, the fourth messenger, sounded; and the third of the sun was smitten, and the third of the moon, and the third of the stars, —in order that the third of them might be darkened, and the day might not shine for the third of it, and the night, in like manner.
13 ನಾನು ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ, ಆಕಾಶದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಗರುಡ ಪಕ್ಷಿ ಮಹಾಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದ: ಇನ್ನೂ ಊದಲಿರುವ ಮೂವರು ದೂತರ ತುತೂರಿಯ ಧ್ವನಿಗಳು ಉಂಟಾಗುವಾಗ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ, “ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಅಯ್ಯೋ!” ಎಂದಿತು.
And I saw, and I heard one eagle, flying in mid-heaven, saying with a loud voice—Woe! woe! woe! unto them that are dwelling upon the earth, by reason of the remaining voices of the trumpet, of the three messengers who are about to sound.
