ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ 21
1 ತರುವಾಯ, “ನೂತನ ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನೂ ನೂತನ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ” ಕಂಡೆನು. ಮೊದಲಿನ ಆಕಾಶವೂ ಮೊದಲಿನ ಭೂಮಿಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಂತಾದವು. ಇನ್ನು ಸಮುದ್ರವು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more.
2 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ನೂತನ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಬರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು. ಅದು ತನ್ನ ಪತಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸಿದ್ಧಳಾದ ವಧುವಿನಂತೆ ಶೃಂಗರಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.
3 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಮಹಾಧ್ವನಿಯು ನನಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಿತು. ಅದು, “ಇಗೋ ದೇವರ ನಿವಾಸವು ಮಾನವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದೆ. ದೇವರು ಅವರೊಡನೆ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವರು. ಮಾನವರು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಜೆಯಾಗಿರುವರು. ದೇವರು ತಾವೇ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವರು.
I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with people; and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.
4 ‘ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒರೆಸಿಬಿಡುವರು. ಇನ್ನು ಮರಣವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.’ ಇನ್ನು ದುಃಖವಾಗಲಿ, ಗೋಳಾಟವಾಗಲಿ, ನೋವಾಗಲಿ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಮೊದಲಿದ್ದದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇಲ್ಲದಂತಾಯಿತು!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿತು.
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain any more. The first things have passed away.”
5 ಆಗ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದವರು, “ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ನೂತನಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ!” ಎಂದರು ಮತ್ತು ನನಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಇದನ್ನು ಬರೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳು ನಂಬತಕ್ಕವೂ ಸತ್ಯವಾದವೂ ಆಗಿವೆ!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” He said, “Write, for these words of God are faithful and true.”
6 ಆಗ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದವರು, “ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನೆರವೇರಿತು, ನಾನು ಆದಿಯೂ ಅಂತ್ಯವೂ ಆರಂಭವೂ ಸಮಾಪ್ತಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ದಾಹವುಳ್ಳವನಿಗೆ ಜೀವಜಲದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಯಿಂದ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
He said to me, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.
7 ಜಯಹೊಂದುವವರು ಇವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯನಾಗುವರು. ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವೆನು. ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗಿರುವರು.
He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.
9 ಅಂತಿಮ ಏಳು ಉಪದ್ರವಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಏಳು ಬೋಗುಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದ ಏಳುಮಂದಿ ದೂತರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, “ಬಾ, ಯಜ್ಞದ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯಾದವವರಿಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗತಕ್ಕ ವಧುವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುವೆನು!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ,
One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls which were loaded with the seven last plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.”
10 ಅವನು ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ, ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ಪರಲೋಕದೊಳಗಿಂದ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಬರುವುದನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದನು.
He carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
11 ಅದು ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿತ್ತು. ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶವು ಸೂರ್ಯಕಾಂತದಂತೆ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ರತ್ನದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾದ ಸ್ಪಟಿಕದಂತೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು.
having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
12 ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗೋಡೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಆ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ದೇವದೂತರಿದ್ದರು. ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಪುತ್ರರ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕುಲಗಳ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ಬರೆದಿದ್ದವು.
having a great and high wall with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.
13 ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು, ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು, ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು.
On the east were three gates, and on the north three gates, and on the south three gates, and on the west three gates.
14 ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗೋಡೆಗೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯಾದವರ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಜನ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳಿದ್ದವು.
The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.
15 ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವನು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅಳತೆ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಅಳತೆಗೋಲನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದನು.
He who spoke with me had for a measure a golden reed to measure the city, its gates, and its walls.
16 ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಚಚ್ಚೌಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಉದ್ದವು, ಅದರ ಅಗಲದಷ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಅವನು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕೋಲಿನಿಂದ ಅಳತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅಳತೆಯು 2,200 ಕಿಲೋಮೀಟರ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಉದ್ದವೂ ಅಗಲವೂ ಎತ್ತರವೂ ಸಮವಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
The city is square. Its length is as great as its width. He measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand and twelve stadia. Its length, width, and height are equal.
17 ಅವನು ಅದರ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅಳತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅದು 65 ಮೀಟರ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಅಳತೆಯಂತೆ ದೇವದೂತನು ಅಳೆದನು.
Its wall is one hundred and forty-four cubits, by the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.
18 ಆ ಗೋಡೆಯು ಸೂರ್ಯಕಾಂತ ಶಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಶುದ್ಧ ಗಾಜಿನಂತಿರುವ ಅಪ್ಪಟ ಬಂಗಾರವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
The construction of its wall was jasper. The city was pure gold, like pure glass.
19 ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗೋಡೆಯು ಮತ್ತು ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳು ಸಕಲ ವಿಧವಾದ ರತ್ನಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕೃತವಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವು ಸೂರ್ಯಕಾಂತ, ಎರಡನೆಯದು ವೈಡೂರ್ಯ, ಮೂರನೆಯದು ಪಚ್ಚೆ, ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯದು ಪದ್ಮರಾಗ,
The foundations of the city’s wall were adorned with all kinds of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire; the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,
20 ಐದನೆಯದು ಗೋಮೇಧಿಕ, ಆರನೆಯದು ಮಾಣಿಕ್ಯ, ಏಳನೆಯದು ಪೀತರತ್ನ, ಎಂಟನೆಯದು ಬೆರುಲ್ಲ, ಒಂಬತ್ತನೆಯದು ಪುಷ್ಯರಾಗ, ಹತ್ತನೆಯದು ಗರುಡಪಚ್ಚೆ, ಹನ್ನೊಂದನೆಯದು ಇಂದ್ರನೀಲ, ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೆಯದು ನೀಲ ಸ್ಪಟಿಕ.
the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.
21 ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮುತ್ತುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಪ್ರತಿ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲೂ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಮುತ್ತಿನಿಂದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮಹಾ ಬೀದಿಯು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾದ ಗಾಜಿನಂತಿರುವ ಅಪ್ಪಟ ಬಂಗಾರವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
The twelve gates were twelve pearls. Each one of the gates was made of one pearl. The street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
22 ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಆಲಯವನ್ನೇ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತ ಆಗಿರುವ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತ ದೇವರೂ, ಕುರಿಮರಿಯಾಗಿರುವವರೂ ಆಲಯವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
23 ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿಸಲು ಸೂರ್ಯನಾಗಲಿ, ಚಂದ್ರನಾಗಲಿ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯೇ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕುರಿಮರಿಯಾದಾತನೇ ಅದರ ದೀಪವು.
The city has no need for the sun or moon to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it and its lamp is the Lamb.
24 ಅದರ ಬೆಳಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು ನಡೆಯುವರು. ಭೂರಾಜರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತರುವರು.
The nations will walk in its light. The kings of the earth bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
25 ಅದರ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು ಒಂದು ದಿನವೂ ಮುಚ್ಚುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಇರುಳಂತೂ ಇರುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
Its gates will in no way be shut by day (for there will be no night there),
26 ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮಹಿಮೆಯೂ ಗೌರವವೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತರಲಾಗುವವು.
and they shall bring the glory and the honour of the nations into it so that they may enter.
27 ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ವಂಚಕವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ನಡೆಸುವವನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಲಾರನು. ಕುರಿಮರಿಯ ಜೀವ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರ ಯಾರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ಬರೆದಿವೆಯೋ ಅವರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಸೇರುವರು.
There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
