ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ 2
1 “ನೀನು ಎಫೆಸದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಭೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶಕನಿಗೆ ಬರೆ: ಏಳು ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು, ಏಳು ಚಿನ್ನದ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ನಡೆದಾಡುವವರು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
And to the aungel of the chirche of Efesus write thou, These thingis seith he, that holdith the seuene sterris in his riyt hond, which walkith in the middil of the seuene goldun candilstikis.
2 ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ಪ್ರಯಾಸ, ಸಹನೆಯನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ನೀನು ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಲಾರೆ. ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರನ್ನು ನೀನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರರೆಂದು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆ.
Y woot thi werkis, and trauel, and thi pacience, and that thou maist not suffre yuele men; and thou hast asaied hem that seien that thei ben apostlis, and ben not, and thou hast foundun hem lieris;
3 ನೀನು ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಬಾಧೆಯನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
and thou hast pacience, and thou hast suffrid for my name, and failidist not.
4 ಆದರೂ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೊದಲಿನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
But Y haue ayens thee a fewe thingis, that thou hast left thi firste charite.
5 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದೀಯೋ, ಅದನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಡು. ನೀನು ಮೊದಲು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡು. ನಿನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆ ಹೊಂದದಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಾನು ಬಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವೆನು.
Therfor be thou myndeful fro whennus thou hast falle, and do penaunce, and do the firste werkis; ether ellis, Y come soone to thee, and Y schal moue thi candilstike fro his place, but `thou do penaunce.
6 ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು ಒಂದುಂಟು. ಅದೇನೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ನಿಕೊಲಾಯಿತರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನೂ ಸಹ ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀ.
But thou hast this good thing, that thou hatidist the dedis of Nycholaitis, the whiche also Y hate.
7 ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನು, ಕಿವಿಯುಳ್ಳವರು ಕೇಳಲಿ. ಯಾರು ಜಯ ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾರೋ ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೇವರ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜೀವವೃಕ್ಷದ ಹಣ್ಣನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಲು ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
He that hath eeris, here he, what the spirit seith to the chirchis. To hym that ouercometh Y schal yyue to ete of the tre of lijf, that is in the paradis of my God.
8 “ಸ್ಮುರ್ನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಭೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶಕನಿಗೆ ಬರೆ: ಮೊದಲನೆಯವರೂ ಕೊನೆಯವರೂ ಮರಣಹೊಂದಿ, ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಬಂದವರು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
And to the aungel of the chirche of Smyrma write thou, These thingis seith the firste and the laste, that was deed, and lyueth.
9 ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಕಟವನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾರಿದ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ಆದರೂ ನೀನು ಸಿರಿವಂತನೇ! ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೇ ಅವರು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ದೂಷಿಸುವುದನ್ನೂ ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ಅವರು ಸೈತಾನನ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Y woot thi tribulacioun, and thi pouert, but thou art riche; and thou art blasfemyd of hem, that seien, that thei ben Jewis, and ben not, but ben the synagoge of Sathanas.
10 ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಬಾಧೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ. ಇಗೋ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು, ಸೈತಾನನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹಾಕುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹತ್ತು ದಿವಸಗಳ ತನಕ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಂಕಟವಿರುವುದು. ನೀನು ಸಾಯುವವರೆಗೆ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನಾಗಿರು. ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಜೀವದ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
Drede thou no thing of these thingis, whiche thou schalt suffre. Lo! the deuel schal sende summe of you in to prisoun, that ye be temptid; and ye schulen haue tribulacioun ten daies. Be thou feithful to the deth, and Y schal yyue to thee a coroun of lijf.
11 ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನು ಕಿವಿಯುಳ್ಳವರು ಕೇಳಲಿ. ಜಯ ಹೊಂದುವವನಿಗೆ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಮರಣದಿಂದ ಕೇಡಾಗುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
He that hath eeris, here he, what the spirit seith to the chirchis. He that ouercometh, schal not be hirt of the secounde deth.
12 “ಪೆರ್ಗಮದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಭೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶಕನಿಗೆ ಬರೆ: ಹರಿತವಾದ ಇಬ್ಬಾಯಿಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದವರು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
And to the aungel of the chirche of Pergamus write thou, These thingis seith he, that hath the swerd scharp on ech side.
13 ನೀನು ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು, ಅದು ಸೈತಾನನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿದೆ. ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೇ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀ. ನೀನು ಇರುವ ಸೈತಾನನ ನಿವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾದ ಅಂತಿಪನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲಾದ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Y woot where thou dwellist, where the seete of Sathanas is; and thou holdist my name, and denyedist not my feith. And in tho daies was Antifas, my feithful witnesse, that was slayn at you, where Sathanas dwellith.
14 ಆದರೂ ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲವು ವಿಷಯಗಳು ನನಗಿವೆ. ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ನೈವೇದ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವುದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡುವುದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಮುಗ್ಗರಿಸಿ ಬೀಳುವಂತೆ ಬಿಳಾಮನು ಬಾಲಾಕನಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಸಿದ ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವವರು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
But Y haue ayens thee a fewe thingis; for thou hast `there men holdinge the teching of Balaam, which tauyte Balaac for to sende sclaundre bifor the sones of Israel, to ete of sacrificis of ydols, and to do fornicacioun;
15 ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ನಿಕೊಲಾಯಿತರ ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವವರೂ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
so also thou hast men holdinge the teching of Nycholaitis.
16 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೋ! ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾನು ಶೀಘ್ರವೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ಇಬ್ಬಾಯಿ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವೆನು.
Also do thou penaunce; `yif ony thing lesse, Y schal come soone to thee, and Y schal fiyte with hem with the swerd of my mouth.
17 ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನು ಕಿವಿಯುಳ್ಳವರು ಕೇಳಲಿ. ಯಾರು ಜಯ ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾರೋ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಮನ್ನಾವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬಿಳಿಕಲ್ಲನ್ನೂ ಆ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ಹೊಸ ಹೆಸರನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವೆನು. ಆ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವನಿಗೇ ಹೊರತು, ಅದು ಮತ್ತಾರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯದು.
He that hath eeris, here he, what the spirit seith to the chirches. To him that ouercometh Y schal yyue aungel mete hid; and Y schal yyue to hym a whiit stoon, and in the stoon a newe name writun, which no man knowith, but he that takith.
18 “ಥುವತೈರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಭೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶಕನಿಗೆ ಬರೆ: ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯಂತಿರುವ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳೂ ಹೊಳೆಯುವ ತಾಮ್ರದಂತಿರುವ ಪಾದಗಳುಳ್ಳ ದೇವಪುತ್ರ ಆಗಿರುವವರು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
And to the aungel of the chirche of Tiatira write thou, These thingis seith the sone of God, that hath iyen as flawme of fier, and hise feet lijk latoun.
19 ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ನೀನು ಮೊದಲು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಈಗ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆ.
Y knowe thi werkis, and feith, and charite, and thi seruyce, and thi pacience, and thi laste werkis mo than the formere.
20 ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಂದು ತಪ್ಪು ಹೊರಿಸಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ಯೆಜೆಬೇಲೆಂಬ ಆ ಹೆಂಗಸು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿನಿಯೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡಬಹುದೆಂದೂ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ನೈವೇದ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಹುದೆಂದೂ ನನ್ನ ದಾಸರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ನೀನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ತಡೆಯದೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು.
But Y haue ayens thee a fewe thingis; for thou suffrist the womman Jesabel, which seith that sche is a prophetesse, to teche and disseyue my seruauntis, to do letcherie, and to ete of thingis offrid to idols.
21 ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಲು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಲ್ಲ.
And Y yaf to hir time, that sche schulde do penaunce, and sche wolde not do penaunce of hir fornycacioun.
22 ಇಗೋ, ಅವಳು ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಧೆಯಿಂದ ಬಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡುವವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲೂ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲೂ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಟ್ಟು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡದೆ ಹೋದರೆ, ಮಹಾ ಸಂಕಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
And lo! Y sende hir in to a bed, and thei that doen letcherie with hir schulen be in moost tribulacioun, but thei don penaunce of hir werkis.
23 ಅವಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಅಂತರಿಂದ್ರಿಯವನ್ನೂ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನೂ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆಂಬುದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದುಬರುವುದು. ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೂ ಅವನವನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
And Y schal slee hir sones in to deth, and alle chirchis schulen wite, that Y am serchinge reynes and hertis; and Y schal yyue to ech man of you after hise werkis.
24 ಥುವತೈರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಉಳಿದವರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನಂದರೆ: ಅವಳ ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀವು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಸೈತಾನನ ಆಳವಾದ ರಹಸ್ಯ ಬೋಧನೆಗಳು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀವು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
And Y seie to you, and to othere that ben at Tiatire, who euer han not this teching, and that knewen not the hiynesse of Sathanas, hou thei seien, Y schal not sende on you another charge; netheles holde ye that that ye han,
25 ನೀವು ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಬರುವ ತನಕ ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನೇ ಹೊರತು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಭಾರವನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂಬುದೇ.
til Y come.
26 ಯಾರು ಜಯಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ಅಂತ್ಯದವರೆಗೂ ಯಾರು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವೆನು.
And to hym that schal ouercome, and that schal kepe til in to the ende my werkis, Y schal yyue power on folkis,
27 ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಂತೆ, ‘ಅವರು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಕೋಲಿನಿಂದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಆಳುವರು. ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಮಡಿಕೆಗಳು ಒಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಬಲ ಮುರಿದು ಹೋಗುವುದು.’
and he schal gouerne hem in an yrun yerde; and thei schulen be brokun to gidre,
28 ನಾನು ಅಂಥವರಿಗೆ ಉದಯಸೂಚಕ ತಾರೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
as a vessel of a pottere, as also Y resseyuede of my fadir; and Y schal yyue to hym a morewe sterre.
29 ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ಇಷ್ಟ ಉಳ್ಳವರು ಕೇಳಲಿ.
