ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 1

1 ದುಷ್ಟರ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯಂತೆ ನಡೆಯದೆ, ಪಾಪಿಗಳ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ಅಪಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರ ಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ,

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the advice of the wicked, or stand in the pathway with sinners, or sit in the assembly of mockers.

2 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ದೇವರ ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಹಗಲು ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬದುಕುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು.

But his delight is in the law of Yahweh, and on his law he meditates day and night.

3 ಅಂಥವರು ನೀರಿನ ಕಾಲುವೆಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಟ್ಟಿರುವ, ಮರದ ಹಾಗಿರುವರು. ಅಂಥ ಮರವು ತಕ್ಕ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಫಲಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಅದರ ಎಲೆ ಉದುರುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅದರಂತೆ ಅವರು ಮಾಡುವ ಕಾರ್ಯವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಸಫಲವಾಗುವುದು.

He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaves do not wither; whatever he does will prosper.

4 ಆದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟರು ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ! ಅವರು ಗಾಳಿ ಬಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಹೊಟ್ಟಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.

The wicked are not so, but are instead like the chaff that the wind drives away.

5 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ದುಷ್ಟರು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗುವರು, ಪಾಪಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಳವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

So the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಅರಿತಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಆದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ನಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ನಡೆಸುವುದು.

For Yahweh approves of the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
