ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 90
1 ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ತಲತಲಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನವಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
BOOK IV A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling-place in all generations.
2 ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ಹುಟ್ಟುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆಯೂ ನೀವು ಲೋಕವನ್ನೂ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆಯೂ ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ನೀವು ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever Thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God.
3 ನೀವು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಮಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ. “ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಪುತ್ರರೇ, ಮಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಮರಳಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀರಿ.
Thou turnest man to contrition; and sayest: 'Return, ye children of men.'
4 ಸಾವಿರ ವರ್ಷಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕಳೆದುಹೋದ ಒಂದು ದಿವಸದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಜಾವದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇವೆ.
For a thousand years in Thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
5 ನೀವು ಜನರನ್ನು ಮರಣ ನಿದ್ರೆಯ ಪ್ರವಾಹದಂತೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಅನುಮತಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಅವರು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.
Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep; in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
6 ಅದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಅರಳಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಂಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಣಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ.
In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.
7 ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೇಸರದಿಂದ ಬಾಧಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಖಂಡನೆಯಿಂದ ತಲ್ಲಣಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
For we are consumed in Thine anger, and by Thy wrath are we hurried away.
8 ನಮ್ಮ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನಾವು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪಾಪಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿವೆ.
Thou hast set our iniquities before Thee, our secret sins in the light of Thy countenance.
9 ನಮ್ಮ ದಿವಸಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಖಂಡನೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ದಾಟಿಹೋದವು. ನಮ್ಮ ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
For all our days are passed away in Thy wrath; we bring our years to an end as a tale that is told.
10 ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದ ದಿನಗಳು ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ, ಬಲದಿಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಎಂಬತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಉತ್ತಮ ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಕಷ್ಟವೂ ಪ್ರಯಾಸವೂ ಆಗಿವೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ದಿನಗಳು ಬೇಗ ತೀರಿಹೋಗುತ್ತವೆ. ನಾವು ಹಾರಿಹೋಗುತ್ತೇವೆ.
The days of our years are threescore years and ten, or even by reason of strength fourscore years; yet is their pride but travail and vanity; for it is speedily gone, and we fly away.
11 ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೋಪದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದವರ‍್ಯಾರು? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲಿನ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಖಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವವರ‍್ಯಾರು?
Who knoweth the power of Thine anger, and Thy wrath according to the fear that is due unto Thee?
12 ನಾವು ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಕಲಿಸಿಕೊಡಿರಿ.
So teach us to number our days, that we may get us a heart of wisdom.
13 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಕಂಪ ತೋರಿಸಿರಿ.
Return, O LORD; how long? And let it repent Thee concerning Thy servants.
14 ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸಿರಿ. ಆಗ ನಮ್ಮ ದಿನಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಧ್ವನಿಗೈದು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುವೆವು.
O satisfy us in the morning with Thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
15 ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿದಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ಹರ್ಷಗೊಳಿಸಿರಿ. ನಾವು ತೊಂದರೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಷ್ಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸಿರಿ.
Make us glad according to the days wherein Thou hast afflicted us, according to the years wherein we have seen evil.
16 ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿರಿ. ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಭೆಯೂ ತೋರಿ ಬರಲಿ.
Let Thy work appear unto Thy servants, and Thy glory upon their children.
17 ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಲಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿರಿ. ಹೌದು, ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರಿ.
And let the graciousness of the Lord our God be upon us; establish Thou also upon us the work of our hands; yea, the work of our hands establish Thou it.
