ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 79
1 ಆಸಾಫನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದೇವರೇ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಗೆ ಬಂದು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಂದಿರವನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ದಿಬ್ಬಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
A Psalm of Asaph. O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.
2 ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕರ ಹೆಣಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭಕ್ತರ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೂ ಆಹಾರವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.
3 ಅವರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ನೀರಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೂಳಿಡುವವನೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.
4 ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ನೆರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ನಿಂದೆಯೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಗೇಲಿಯೂ ಹಾಸ್ಯವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.
5 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡಿರುವಿರಿ? ಸತತವೂ ನೀವು ಕೋಪದಿಂದಿರುವಿರೋ? ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ರೋಷವು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಂತೆ ಉರಿಯುವುದು?
How long, O LORD, wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy burn like fire?
6 ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸದ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯದ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿಬಿಡಿರಿ.
Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the kingdoms that call not upon thy name.
7 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಯಾಕೋಬರನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ನಿವಾಸವನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his habitation.
8 ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕರುಣೆಯು ಬೇಗ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ನಾವು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
Remember not against us the iniquities of our forefathers: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.
9 ನಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಕರಾಗಿರುವವರೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಘನದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿರಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಬಿಡಿರಿ.
Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name’s sake.
10 ಅವರ ದೇವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದು ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಏಕೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು? ಚೆಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕರ ರಕ್ತದ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆಯು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಲಿ.
Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let the revenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed be known among the heathen in our sight.
11 ಸೆರೆಯವರ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಬರಲಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಹಾಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸಾಯುವುದಕ್ಕಿರುವವರನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿರಿ.
Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to death;
12 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸಿದ ನಮ್ಮ ನೆರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಏಳರಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮಡಿಲಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಿರಿ.
And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.
13 ಆಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜನರೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲಿನ ಕುರಿಗಳೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ನಾವು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ, ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಸಾರುವೆವು.
So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.
